I think there is some slight confusion regarding the correspondence comment you mentioned…We did return your phone call in a timely manner that same day and we left you a voicemail as well. Then we called you again the next day to follow up and you had told me that you missed our previous call/message because you were in the swimming pool. So I'm not quite understanding that specific part of your review. But we are so glad you were enjoying your time and swimming with your family! We hope you had a great stay overall.

Thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback regarding your recent stay. We deeply regret that your experience did not meet your expectations, and I want to personally apologize for the inconveniences you have mentioned. We spoke with you many times during your stay and you never mentioned to us that you had any dissatisfaction regarding the cleaning of the property, we would have been happy to rectify any cleaning issues for you right away. I am very sorry if the maximum occupancy/bedding caused a little confusion. The maximum number of people that are allowed to be on the property is 14. As far as the bed configuration goes, we try to explain it very thoroughly in the written description for this listing as well as have it displayed under "rooms" so our guests are usually very aware what bedding arrangements to expect and if they will or will not work for their groups needs. We will continue to try and make sure the sleeping details are as clear as possible to prevent any future confusion. Unfortunately I am not sure what you may have felt we were intentionally avoiding. I just went back and reviewed our texts and I felt that we were attentive in communications, so it would be very helpful to us if you could explain what you meant by that comment so we can better understand your feedback. I am glad to hear you enjoyed the pool area and I hope your group was also able to enjoy the 2-hour late check out that we extended. Thank you again for bringing these matters to our attention.

I am very sorry you felt that your stay felt short of satisfactory. We strive very hard to provide a 5 star service and we want everyone to have a fantastic time while visiting Wimberley. I am surprised you felt that I was argumentative with you regarding the pool. I do apologize if I came off that way, I did not think I was rude or argumentative in any way. My exact response to you said "The pool is treated by a professional 3rd party company (H2O Pools) on the morning of every check-in. The pool technician that treats it sends us a full report of the chemical levels with a photo of the test strip and a photo of the swimming pool. This pool was completely cleaned and treated this morning and we also have the pool Polaris on an automatic timer that goes off every single day to help keep the pool clean in between the weekly services. It is an old pool and it is unfortuantley starting to age. The white plaster on the bottom and a little on the side has started chipping off and we have already made the home owners aware and are trying to schedule a time to repair it. The pool will have to be completely drained and out of service so the whole thing can be re-plastered and we know the summer guests are renting this house mainly for the pool so we are trying to schedule the repair so that no one who has already rented the home misses out on being able to use it during their stay (especially with how hot it is right now). If you get in the pool and touch it you will see it is not mold, it is just the plaster starting to chip. I am very sorry if that startled you, we are definitely going to get it repaired as soon as we can." We sent the pool technician out the next day per your request so that he could explain the pool situation to you as well and hopefully give you guys a little more peace of mind because I'm sure he was able to describe/show you guys a little more in detail than I was over over messages. I do wish that during our correspondence you had mentioned your disappointment regarding the plastic cups. We do have them, they are blue plastic cups and they are located in the top cabinets above the kitchen counter/island. I will double check today and make sure some of them haven't walked off and we still have plenty for the whole group to use, because you are absolutely correct we do definitely appreciate guests using plastic and not glass around the pool area. I appreciate your feedback and despite your comment of not returning, I hope that once we re-plaster the pool you would reconsider returning to enjoy this property.
