Blue Sky Escapes Vacation Home w/ big Oceanviews, Pool, Jacuzzi, 5min to beach

Come stay at my Blue Sky Escapes Maui Vacation home! Located in sunny south Maui the home is a beautiful, remodeled ocean view home with private pool swimming pool. This property is extremely private with no other rentals on property located in Maui Meadows a hillside development overlooking Wailea and the south Maui coastline. There are amazing views from almost all rooms in the house and the wrap around covered deck is perfect for indoor/outdoor style island living. Several beautiful white sand beaches are a short five minute drive away.

This home is one of five legal private home rentals in the desired island neighborhood of Maui Meadows. We passed all county regulations and now can share our lovely property with visitors to this special island we call home (Permit #STKM 2013/0004). There are no other buildings on our 1/2 acre land - the private use of our 3 bedroom, 2 bath fully renovated home and pool makes for a memorable vacation. We are a short drive to the beach, several restaurants and shopping.

The SUNNY SOUTH MAUI VACATION HOME is located in a residential neighborhood and guests must be aware and respectful of neighboring properties. Please be sure that ALL the members of your group are aware of the quiet hours. We want you to have a fantastic and relaxing time on Maui- we promise we won't impose many rules on you, but we respectfully ask that guests abide by the quiet hours.

GROUP GATHERING RESTRICTIONS: Only registered guests are allowed on property. No wedding parties or large family gatherings allowed.

The property was exactly what we had hoped for. The spaces, the location, the sunsets from the lanai, the amenities included and the property manager made this the perfect holiday house for us. Wonderful stay!

My family had a wonderful vacation at this centrally located home with a great view. While not directly on the beach, it is close enough and provides all the amenities you’d expect from a fully equipped vacation home. Kids loved the pool and hot tub, and my family won’t forget the gorgeous sunsets.

We absolutely loved Blue Skies vacation home on Maui. Having a 3br home in S Maui with a large pool and a clear and unobstructed view was more than we could have wished for. The house was clean and offered the four of us plenty of space during our week stay. The master bedroom bedDownstairs was super comfortable. We mainly hung out on the deck taking in the spectacular view, otherwise we all were able to have own own space and own tv’s to watch whatever we wanted to at night. We had a great time in this house and would hesitate to recommend it.

Great stay

Place was great, pool was amazing. Lots of amenities and it was so clean! We had a couple of issues while we were there and everything got addressed very very quickly. Only negative was the furniture and front of cabinets were a bit dated.. Love the pool table and ping-pong table, great area close to everything.

Paradise in Maui.

We loved this house and its location. We were close to many good snorkel beaches and restaurants. The house fit our family and was very comfortable. The patio was great for eating and viewing the ocean and sunsets. The pool was nice for cooling off afternoon. We were very happy with our choice.

Beautiful Maui Home Perfect for Family

This home was clean, had all amenities for a family vacation. Property manager was quick to respond. This home was centrally located on the island and very close to all venues and beaches. Highly recommend.

A Total Blast

What a great place! Clean and accessible to all the beaches in Wailea and Kihei. The views from the deck were incredible. The neighborhood is very safe. The people we spoke with outside were very friendly. Will stay there on our next trip for sure! Mahalo!

Stunning views

Our family of five adults just finished a 10 day Stay here. Looks just like the pictures. The view is amazing!!!! The house is a great size for families with plenty of room to spread out and have your own space with tons of outdoor seating and areas. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub every day and the beach is a pretty close drive. You can walk to the beach, however it is all downhill for a long way so unless you’re very fit, I wouldn’t recommend it, as you’d be going entirely uphill in the heat! Having said that we did quite a few walks through the neighborhood as it is absolutely beautiful, was a fantastic and memorable holiday in this house

Lovely home in a quiet neighborhood

We enjoyed a two week stay at this lovely home in a quiet, safe neighborhood. We were close to all amenities in Wailea, and a quick drive to many beautiful beaches. We really appreciated the beach chairs, umbrellas, and snorkelling equipment, and our young men really enjoyed the pool table in the evenings. Super quick responses from the home owners.

Beautiful private home in South Maui

We had a wonderful time at Tamara and Steve’s home in Kihei. Situated up the hill in a very peaceful neighborhood, this gem of a home was the perfect retreat for our family for the week. Kitchen and bathrooms have been nicely updated, and the view absolutely can not be beat. We would love to stay again the next time we are in Maui! Thanks!!!

Perfect

We stayed at Steve & Tamara's rental for 10 days and couldn't of asked for a better home. Everything was perfect! They were very quick to respond with any questions we had with booking. The views from the deck were incredible, and the beaches are a few minutes away. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again- Thanks Steve & Tamara!

It was great except for the front door.

The front door was almost impossible to unlock. WE had to have the owner come twice to try to fix it. He decided that we should leave it unlocked when we were away since the key wouldn't work. It caused a lot of stress.

Family vacation 2023

The house and amenities were exactly as stated/exceeded our expectations. We were a family of 4 adults and 2 children 12 & 16 yrs old, lots of space for gathering as a group & separate space for solo time. The pool/spa was a plus for our granddaughters & they also enjoyed the window seat for quiet reading. We had a friend of our daughters on island that provided us with awesome beaches to enjoy and restaurants. We will defiantly return to enjoy more family island memories! Tamara was very responsive to any questions we had.

I lived on Maui for 30 years. Both my children were born and raised there and I bought my home in 1999. I started on VRBO in 1998 with my first vacation rental condo. I later bought a short term rental condo in south Maui while working for Maui County as a firefighter for 20 years. I retired from the fire department in 2021. Please feel free to ask any questions about the island if you need assistance with anything. I am an avid water sports enthusiast and (windsurfing, wing foiling) and I love to snow ski.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

When I first moved to Maui in 1996 I rented a small cottage in this neighborhood of Maui Meadows. It is one of only few half acre lots in all of South Maui and since it was established in the 1970s the homes are lush with beautiful landscaping. It was a dream to own a property here. After 4 years of renting that tiny cottage we managed to save enough to purchase the this home in 1999. We lived in the home for 14 years and my two children were born and raised there. When the kids were ready for private school in grade 3 and 6 we decided to apply for a STRH license to rent it and hopefully afford private school for the kids. The home has been a vacation rental since 2013.
