Vista al lago / acceso a la playa para todas las estaciones de vacaciones.

Elk Point es una comunidad cerrada de aproximadamente 90 casas con nuestra propia comunidad privada de playa y puerto deportivo, área de natación con una balsa y hermosa terraza en la playa y área de barbacoa. Nuestra casa está directamente al otro lado de la calle del lago con impresionantes vistas al lago desde dos cubiertas con vista al lago y una tranquila terraza en el patio trasero y área de juegos. En invierno, Heavenly Valley está a 10 minutos, con Kirkwood, Alpine, Squaw y Mt. Rose cerca para esquiar. Trineo para niños de todas las edades está en el patio trasero y en Hill Street, y el esquí de fondo está en la puerta de tu casa.
Todas las actividades de verano abundan en la cuenca del lago Tahoe ... Playa, barcos, golf, pesca y senderismo. Muchos resorts con alquileres y vida nocturna.
La primavera y el otoño podrían ser la mejor época del año si quieres escaparte para un poco de R&R y aún así tener un clima excelente sin las multitudes.

We came here for a short family trip. The location is excellent: quiet, short walk to the beach, partial view of the lake from balconies. The house itself was also very nice and clean, with all basic amenities present.

Right next to Lake Tahoe

The house is across the street from the lake, as described, but there is a 2-story house on the other side of the street, so that you cannot see the lake from the living room/dining room. You have a good but partial view from the balcony on the top level. We enjoyed sitting there in the afternoon and watching a red-tailed hawk sitting on a branch just a few feet away.The private beach is just steps away, which is good, because the public beach seems to be very crowded in late July, judging from the long line of cars.The back patio is spacious with good shade from the trees, but we found the indoor spaces a bit cramped, especially the kitchen, where only one person can work comfortably at a time. The pots, pans, plates, flatware, et centera were heavily used but serviceable.

Tahoe Getaway

Enjoyed a nice, relaxing stay. The home is a bit older but everything worked and was clean. Plenty of space for the 4 of us. Neighborhood is quiet and walking access to beach was handy. The only negative was after we left and were driving home, we received a message from the owner stating the cleaning crew said we must have had more than 4 people in the home because "all" the beds had been slept in (4 beds were used) and because they said they saw 2 vehicles driving away (we had one vehicle). We did explain this to the owner but it was upsetting to be accused of not being up front and it ruined the relaxed vibe we had. We left the house neat (did the dishes, took out the trash, even washed & folded the beach towels). If the number of people in the house is a concern, the owner may want to install a Ring camera at the entrance. A pair of prescription sunglasses that were left were not mailed to us as requested. (But we shouldn't have left the glasses.) It would have been a perfect long weekend if it wasn't for the accusation received after we left.

Great stay

This was a last minute booking for us but the owner was very responsive to getting it reserved for us. Nice private neighborhood. 5 minute walk to the beach. Unit had everything we wanted.

Tahoe family time at its finest

We had a perfect stay, the location is one of the best on the lake with the private beach. The house is very well provisioned and the accomodations are very comfortable. The host went out of their way to support our stay. We can't wait to come back!

Great spot , access to a private beach , hiking and walking trails. Nice peekaboo views of the lake from the house. Sunsets incredible just steps away to the private beach. Lee is very communicative and was available whenever I had questions.

Perfect summer getaway

The whole family enjoyed our stay. The home is beautiful, great location for summer activities; swimming, hiking, boating, kayaking, a private beach, and just a great place to chill. Our host Lee, was responsive and provided everything we needed, including some local restaurant suggestions. Looking forward to a return trip!

Fantastic Ski Weekend

Lee and Brenda were very responsive and we were so thankful to be able to stay at their home in a wonderful neighborhood right next to the lake. The location was fantastic - 20 minutes to the NV side of Heavenly, and just shy of an hour to Northstar and Kirkwood, while being close to restaurants but not in S Lake Tahoe proper. Thanks again!

Some good and some not so good!

I'd like to break this review down into 2 parts - the good and the not so good. Overall, our stay was very good. But, for the sake of folks who really want to know what they are getting before they rent, please read my review. The good: The property location can't be beat. You are literally across the street from the water and have fabulous peak a boo views of the lake from several areas of the home. We loved the private beach which is just down the street. It's a perfect beach for paddleboarding, swimming and grilling. Lots of outdoor seating and indoor seating at the house with a grill on the outside patio area that worked! The not so good: Watch out for the extra person charges. Our total of 7 people equalled about $800 per night with all the additional fees. The home is very, very tired. The mattresses on both beds are old and not very comfortable. The kitchen's oven is from the 70's if not older. While there is a lot of silverware and plates and such - it's like an old garage sale collection of items in the kitchen. Also, there was not soap for the showers and not a single extra trash bag under the sink. Thus, there doesn't seem to be much thought for the basic needs of guests here. Lastly, there is a keycard needed to get your car to the private beach. When I asked about it, the owners said the keycard didn't work. However, we found a maintenance person who let us in and told us it takes seconds to fix the keycard. You will want that keycard if you have SUP's!

Incredible location

My family and I had a great stay for a week in Elk Point. Short walk to private beach with sand volleyball and barbecue and not dealing with parking and congestion at other local beaches was a great advantage! Home was clean yet dated with some appliances struggling (ice maker and range).

The property was amazing. The house is full of windows which expose the gorgeous mountain and lake scenery. The house is beautiful and very comfortable. We were very impressed with our visit and would highly recommend this property .

This house is in a great location. We love to spend time as a family going for walks around the neighborhood as well to the beach. The beach is fantastic. Very relaxing and no pressure to get there early to get a spot. Thanks for another great stay.

We built at Elk Point…. The best kept secret at Lake Tahoe because it's private and quiet, with our own beach area, and super close to all Lake Tahoe activities and walking distance to grocery stores and restaurants and we are within a gated community.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I enjoy taking a nap, reading a book in a hammock on the deck that faces the lake as well as the back secluded deck. It's nice to have the flexibility of staying on the property or taking a short walk to our beach several times in a day. Our property is surrounded by views of trees in the back and the side for lots of privacy.
