The Graceland Getaway in East Central SLC

This unique property is nestled in a quiet East Central SLC neighborhood. Get the comfort of a relaxed neighborhood within minutes of shopping, dining, and much more. You'll be able to spend a night out exploring to come home and unwind from city life. Located only 10 min. from I-80, this is a great spot to stop and rest from a road trip. You couldn't ask for a better location.

4 min to 9th & 9th
7 min to the mountains
8 min to Downtown
Ski resorts from 23 miles out

Exterior:
Built in 1896 , just 50 years after the founding of SLC, this quaint property is truly an original Salt Lake City home (it has sense been renovated). This lower level apartment has its own private entrance in the back and front of the house. There is a long driveway on the north side of the house, for parking up to 3 cars. The backyard is fully enclosed and is shared with the upstairs guests.

Interior:
There are 2 bedrooms with plush, luxury mattresses, pillows, and sheets. Both rooms have full-sized closets with hangers. An extra blanket is provided for each room.

The bathroom is stocked with shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and of course fresh towels, hand towels, and rags. Laundry is in the bathroom, detergent and dryer sheets are provided.

The kitchen is fully equipped with essentials you need to cook a full meal. If anything is missing, we encourage guests to reach out so that we can add the missing item to our inventory for their convenience and to improve the stay of all future guests. Basic cooking oils and spices are regularly stocked as well. There is a Keurig coffee maker- we also provide coffee, tea, and sugar.

The living area has a 50" Roku TV so you can stream your favorite services/shows. There is a dedicated work space for traveling workers. The living area also has a few board games for family nights. If you book for an extended stay, there is plenty of storage space throughout the living area and house.

**We have a very strict NO SHOES ALLOWED rule in this home. We would like to preserve all that we can in this historic house, so please respect it as you would your own :)**

Love the whimsical and bright interior design, very clean and had everything we needed. Very comfortable for our small family. Seamless check in/check out. All appliances we used functioned great. Short walk to lovely coffee house “Coffee Noir” and short drive to fun shopping like Trolley Square. Near college campus, there was just one Friday night of a lively college party next door. The rest of the weekend was quiet and peaceful.

Fabulous

Fabulous accommodation, there is obviously pride in ownership. The property is very retro funk. Beautifully appointed in early sixties style. Quite, spacious, great location.

A one man show

Was up to visit my son at the U, and found this lovely house.It was a fun quirky experience, the wifi worked, the house was very cool and reminiscent of the cottage houses of the 50s and 60s.Check in was easy, and the location was convenient. I will stay there again when I visit. 5 stars.

Good experience

The property was as advertised and was very clean and nice inside. I had a great stay and the property had everything that I needed. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to stay in salt lake City.The only minor negative thing I would say is that if there are people staying in the unit above there is some noise that comes through the ceiling when they walk around.

A quick tour of SLC

I came up to pick up my son who is in school at the U, and we are road tripping back for Christmas. I chose this location due to its quaint look and feel and the proximity to the U.It did not disappoint, it was easy to access, very clean, with every amenity promised. I loved it so much I booked again in January.5 stars!

Adorable house with lots of style

My son and his friends stayed here and absolutely loved it. Said the house was great and a great location with cafés nearby. Nice front porch with the porch swing. Only a six minute Uber ride to University of Utah campus

Great Granny Games at the Graceland

Each year, my daughter, sister, and I spend a night somewhere on the Wasatch front dressed up as Out "Granny Alter Egos." This year, we spent our time at Graceland. It was perfect in every way. Such a sweet home! Built in 1896! So much character. Very clean. Decorated with excellent retro flair. Comfy couches in TV area. A piano! Easy entry instructions. Excellent communication from the owner but we didn't have any issues that needed addressing. (Minor things to know; shoes off policy inside, back door tricky to lock/unlock so we just didn't use it, and front bedroom bed a little squeaky for this light sleeper--no deal breakers!). Would love to stay here next time we visit our daughter at the U. Thank you Hailee!

Football Rivalry Weekend

Cute place! Beds were comfortable and the home was clean. I was a little bummed that there was only one kpod left so I had to go to the store for more. Shower was great but don’t start a load of clothes in the washer until after your shower😁
