La casa se encuentra en 3 acres privados que se boscosa, principalmente al otro lado de la calle del lago !! Hay 3 dormitorios, uno de los cuales es un loft, capacidad para 5-6 personas y 1 baño. Hay 1 queen, 1 completo y dos camas individuales en el altillo. La Casa cuenta con una moderna cocina con electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable y encimera de granito. La cocina y el comedor está equipado para servir a hasta 6 personas. Hay una chimenea, tres cubiertas y un montón de espacio al aire libre. Toda la casa ha sido actualizada y los pisos de madera de cedro apenas restaurados. Una planta muy singular por decir lo menos, por favor ver las fotos !! Hay una parrilla de gas y mesa de picnic en el porche trasero. Los dos porches delanteros tienen zonas de estar. Muelles transitorios son derecho disponible a través de la calle, en la casa ligera de Mariana, así como alquiler de todo tipo de deportes acuáticos. Hay una playa pública a poca distancia hacia el norte por la Ruta 507. Tengo dos kayaks que estoy dispuesto a alquilar durante la semana si así lo desea. Los huéspedes pueden llevarlas a través de la calle y los puso en el lago.

Pro:Very cleanAC works greatTowels, linens, TP and enough cooking utensilsSpacious compared to many other cabins in the area, although the bathroom shower could be designer better.Cons:-Sliding glass door impossible for the women to open/close-Really needs a light on the outside staircase-Water pressure very poor, with lots of air in the lines. But the water did stay hot long enough for several people to shower.Our experience with Brian was very positive and we would stay again, but I'd like to see the doors and plumbing remedied.

Cozy place to stay

Me and my girlfriend stayed at this cabin for a long weekend getaway and it was perfect for our needs we intended to rent a boat from the marina and the location hear was perfect being right across from the marina it is secluded enough that you have plenty of privacy and it was very clean and seamed to be well maintained. it was a great time boating during the day and sitting around a fire on the property at the provided fire ring, even had some visitors laying not even 30 ft from the back deck both mornings when we came down there was a doe and her to fawn hanging out in the back yard and they were perfectly ok with us taking some awsome photos. i would certainly stay here again.

A wooded oasis

Property was clean, well furnished, and comfortable. Every morning, deer would graze near the property. The morning sun reflecting off the lake made for some breathtaking views.

Perfect Staging Area

The Pack House was the perfect staging area for all our outdoor activities at Lake Wallenpaupack. Mostly fishing, but we also went to the zoo, played miniature golf, went for hikes, went to the park to toss a football around, and had some great meals in either direction from the house. In our rare down time the Pack House was a comfortable resting place for watching a movie, having a nap, or watching a thunderstorm over the lake.

Worth the trip!

The property was exactly as described in the listing. My family enjoyed our stay and would book again. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to enjoy the lake and some piece and quiet. Thank you for being great hosts!

Decent place but much to be desired

Overall, decent but the AC was broken and owner didn’t not communicate prior to our stay. My GF and I sweat nightly (3) as it was over 78 degrees in the downstairs bedroom and the house was very noisy when people walked upstairs or even moved in their beds and floorboard creaked and spilled debris on the 1st floor bedroom and bathroom sink. Asked for a partial refund for our inconvenience but none provided. Would not recommend or stay at this house again despite being in a good location.

Nice place

We enjoyed our stay! Unfortunately I hurt my ankle on one of our attractions and could not walk without pain but I have a wonderful boyfriend who did everything for me while I sat by the fire pit! There are a few things that need updating but it was clean and had all we needed.

Lakeside barn wood cottage

The cottage was clean and sufficiently appointed with the basic items for our stay. The owner is friendly and prompt in his communications. The cottage is situated across from the lake on a somewhat busy road with a limited view of the water. Our only complaint was with the parking arrangement. The available driveways are narrow and on an incline and are positioned so that you have to pull out onto a blind curve. Vehicles traveling at 40mph on this curve make it impossible to safely back out if you are towing a boat of any size (19 ft in my case). This limitation of parking for a boater makes this a challenging stay. Had we been made aware when we asked about space for the boat up front, we likely would have chosen another property. Thankfully, the marina across the road allowed me to rent a slip for $25 per night and store my trailer on their site.

Perfect getaway!

We rented the Pack house for a guys weekend and it was our first time visiting Lake Wallenpaupack. I can honestly say that our experience at the pack house exceeded all my expectations. Brian was a great host and easy to communicate with. We rented his kayaks and got the firewood from him as well. The amount of firewood was perfect for our weekend and renting the kayaks made it very convenient to paddle in and out whenever we wanted. Access to the lake for launching the kayaks was right across the street which made it easy to come back in for lunch. The neighbors are fantastic but we also had plenty of privacy. I would absolutely recommend Brian and the pack house to anyone looking for a low key weekend getaway at Lake Wallenpaupack

Excellent accommodations

Beautiful cabin. Everything that we needed was there. Parking was our only issue. Had to back up my boat trailer from the main road and was tough to turn around my truck. Other than that it was a great stay.

Lovely stay for our anniversary trip.

The cabin was a great little place for a short weekend stay. It was well equipped and had everything we needed. The owner was awesome with quick communication and able to answer any questions we had. He even provided us great firewood and everything we needed for a perfect bonfire. There are some creaks and noises associated with a cabin like this so if something like that bothers you at night be prepared but we didn't mind and slept great both nights!

Relaxing weekend getaway

We went for a relaxing getaway weekend...and that is exactly what we got! Pictures of the home were on the mark! No surprises! Home was clean, warm and inviting! Brian (owner) was easy to get in touch with at any given time. He even left lights on and house warm for our arrival. We wanted for nothing! We already decided before we left that this is where we are coming back to this summer! Accomodations and owner BOTH get 5 stars from us!

A great spot for a quiet getaway!

The house was exactly as pictured with a modern kitchen and a charming wood stove to take the chill off those cool evenings. The weather was a bit rainy while we were there so we weren’t able to sit on the deck much, but we did see many deer and a curious red fox. It was quiet at the lake during our September stay and that was just what we wanted. The process of booking, arrival, and check out was easy and the owner, Brian, was friendly and attentive. I recommend this property and HomeAway.com.
