Cute little cabin on a beautiful lake!
This was an extremely cute cabin situated down a private road it's shared lake access with about seven other homes. The house itself was super cute and appropriately stocked with linens, towels and kitchen items. A couple of complaints would be that the stairs to get up to the two bedrooms were extremely steep And if you have little ones and even if somebody is trying to go to the bathroom which is downstairs in the middle of the night it can definitely be dangerous. Having said that , the owners did clarify and explain that in their listing, but you never really know until you get there. Also every morning we woke up and there were dead bugs, almost beatle like creatures, belly up on both the top floor and the bottom floor. At first we thought nothing of it, but then it kept happening every single morning. It's not the end of the world because you could just sweep it up and move on with your day but it was a little bit gross to encounter. Also there were some things like the light in the refrigerator and the light on the stove/range that did not work. It would have been very helpful to have those lights work and operate cuz it was text sometimes to see in the fridge and the oven light could have been really good night light for my kids. I didn't say to the owner and he said he would stop by with a new light bulb but that never happened. overall it was really nice, if it had laundry would have been even better!
