Enjoy this oceanfront, family-friendly condo! "Sea at Last"(Unit #3) is located in Southpointe Villas on the first floor of a 3-floor condo complex for easy beach and pool access steps away. Although incorporated into Murrells Inlet, this area is known as Garden City Beach. There is no elevator in this condo, and this is one of only 8 condos on the ground floor which is a huge plus, and most of the other ground floor condos are not for rent. This one is just steps from the beach. Under new ownership as of May 2024, many updates have been made to the unit. Bedrooms were updated last fall and the kitchen is being updated now in early 2025 with quartz countertops, fresh paint, a new sink and faucet, and new hardware. This condo has excellent ratings and reviews.
Southpointe Villas offers an intimate setting, a spacious beach, and a very private feel. The oceanfront pool (open Easter through Oct. 31st) is near the walkway over the dunes. There is a rinse-off station on the walkway and an outdoor shower by the pool. Southpointe Villas has only 24 units, so communal areas are typically uncrowded making for a perfect family getaway. This wide, long stretch of beach has very limited public access. It is located 2.4 miles south of the Garden City Pier.
Southpointe Villas is the southern-most condo complex of Murrells Inlet/Garden City Beach before reaching the point. It is fully gated with a private beach access in an area with mostly private homes. You never need to fight the crowds for beach space! It is within walking distance to the popular Gulfstream Cafe and Marlin Quay Marina. Many other restaurants, golf courses, shops, etc. are within an easy drive.
This condo has been listed on VRBO in the past by the Miles Family. We purchased it from them and have replaced the queen bed in the master bedroom with a new king-sized bed. We replaced the double bed in the second bedroom with a queen-sized bed. The bedrooms have new flooring and new area carpets. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom.
The master bedroom also has a full bath, en-suite. The second bedroom with the queen bed and a set of bunk beds and a full bath just outside the bedroom door. The sleeper sofa in the den folds out to a double bed.
The unit includes Wi-Fi, two flat-screen TVs, and a DVD player. We also have a blue-tooth system in the den. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. There is a patio with a view of the landscaped side yard. Outside grills are available for use on the grounds. We have a small, stackable washer/dryer, however, if you need to do a large load, there is a coin-operated laundry room available for guests just below the pool on the edge of the complex. Check-out cleaning is included. Linens and bath towels are also included. Bring your own beach items and beach towels.
Shade awnings are allowed on the beach here in Georgetown County unlike Horry County to the north. There is plenty of local wildlife including birds and turtles.
Please know that the HOA does enforce the following rules for renters:
-No smoking of any kind is permitted anywhere in the unit or on the balcony. (Includes vaping)
-No pets.
-No recreational vehicles.
-No golf carts or trailers.
-No parties or events.
The primary renter must be at least 25 years of age and must be present during the entire period that the unit is occupied. A photo ID may be requested for proof of age.
Violation of policies/rules may result in eviction and loss of rent paid including deposits.
Guests will be sent the door code the day of check-in after the housekeeper has finished cleaning. Your code works from check-in time (4 p.m.) until check-out time at 11 a.m..
Checking out (by 11 a.m.):
Be sure all dishes/cookware are clean and put away.
Place dirty linens and towels in the hall bathroom tub.
Check to be sure the fridge door is closed/sealed.
Leave no food you brought with you. Bag all trash and put in dumpster out front.
Be certain windows and patio door are locked/secured. Lock the front door as you leave, and text housekeeping.

I grew up coming with my family to Huntington Beach (just south of here) at least two weeks every summer and we all loved this area. For many years, my dream was to get a little place on the beach for our family and others to enjoy. I have finally retired, and my dream of a little beach place has come true! Hence, the name, "Sea at Last" Being here brings back such great childhood memories of the soft white sands and the deep and wide beach. I would love to get an established clientele of great renters who love this area and this little family condo as much as we do!
This condo formerly belonged to the Miles Family. It was well-loved, updated, and tastefully decorated. We added a new king bed with a new mattress in the master bedroom and two new end tables. We replaced a double bed with a queen in the 2nd bedroom. In the two bedrooms, we removed the wall-to-wall carpets, installed LVP, and added two new area rugs. I just updated the kitchen cabinets and put in new quartz countertops. Also, the ensuite master bedroom was just renovated with a pretty vanity.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento
This property is fully gated and surrounded by single-family homes. Our unit is on the ground floor and there is no elevator, making it much more convenient than other units. and closer to the beach than most of the other units due to being on the gound floor with only one condo between ours and the beach. We are on the landscaped side of the building rather than the gated parking lot side, so the porch is more private and serene. This neighborhood is close enough to the activities of the cities, but is the most southern condominium complex in an area of private homes, and a great, family friendly place for relaxation and fun in the sun. The oceanfront pool is an added advantage. We are far enough from the hustle and bustle to feel secluded and peaceful, yet close enough to restaurants, shops, world-class golf courses, and gorgeous Brookgreen Gardens.
Many units have full-time owners who are close knit, kind, and respectful. Only a few condos allow renters. It is just a happy place!

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial
The location is ideal. The area is so peaceful. Our beach is uncrowded and pristine in an area of private homes. Our unit is ground-floor, a huge plus since there are no elevators. We are on the landscaped side of the building, not the parking lot side, so the porch is peaceful and serene. "Southpointe Villas" is ocean front, and we are one of the closest condos to the beach. The complex is small and fully gated. The ocean is simply one of the best in S.C., with white sands and privacy, but the oceanfront pool is also a nice option, open from Easter to Nov. 1st.
There are three floors in the complex, and no elevator; being on the first floor is great for older people and children, alike. It is easy to walk right out to the beach and easy to get your luggage and groceries into Unit #3. We do not have an ocean view from our condo, but just a few steps away, we can sit on one of the walkway benches, coffee in hand, and watch the sun rise over the Atlantic. Sit on the bench in the evening and see the moon making a luminous path on the water. The walkway over the dunes is wonderful and the rinse station on the walkway is great, too. If you golf, there are over 100 fabulous golf courses in the area. There are putt-putt courses, arcades, shops, etc., all within an easy drive. Brookgreen Gardens is nearby. The pier is near by for fishing. Fishing by surf-casting is in the front yard! Pawley's Island shoppes and those great hammocks are about 15 minutes away. The restaurants in Murrells Inlet, Pawley's, and Myrtle Beach are fabulous. There are many first class restaurants in the area. You have choices ranging from fine-dining establishments to what we call "fish camps" with fresh seafood, paper towels, and paper-covered tables. Additionally, there are many multi-cultural restaurants. You have options! Of course, you may wish to buy fresh ingredients and cook in the condo. Many have said we have all the most fully-equipped kitchen they have found in a rental unit!
