Cozy waterfront cottage on Lower Post Lake. Family- friendly.
Park up top by the garage or head down the driveway to park right by the door. Take the small set of stairs to enter and you will find the main living space to the right and the third bedroom to your left. The living room has cable and a smart TV. A wood burning fireplace is ready for the cooler nights; make sure to stop in town for firewood. Our kitchen is fully stocked for most of your cooking needs with some extras too: air fryer, pizza pizzazz, crock pot, and single serve coffee maker. You will find the charcoal grill outside with a chimney for an easy way to fire it up. The bathroom has a shower and tub combo; a potty training seat and step stool are available for your littles. Towels are included but please bring your own beach towels. The main bedroom has a king size bed, smart TV, closet with a dresser and a glimpse of the lake from the window. The second bedroom has a twin over full bunk bed with the top bunk only supporting 100lbs. You will find a dresser in there with a TV and Blu-ray player. The third bedroom has a queen size bed, smart TV, and shelving for your belongings. As you exit you will need to take a set of stairs to access the water. The dock has room to tie up your boat and our boathouse has a pedal boat with a few life jackets available. Bring your fishing gear to store in the boathouse too.
We have a tree house style swing set with slide and rock wall. Water toys available in the boathouse and will forever be changing as they get worn out. Two lounge chairs, firepit chairs and outdoor dining for four set up.
In order to access the firepit you will need to step down without a railing. The basement can be accessed if needed, but not used as a common area.
Just down the road you will find the boat launch. During the winter you can use it to snowmobile across where you will find a great place to grab a drink, play darts or shoot some pool and hop on the trails afterwards. The nearest golf course is Bass Lake and Wolffs River Inn is a wonderful dinner spot.
