Covington Hobbitlike Cottage
"In a hole in the ground there lived a hobbit. Not a nasty, dirty, wet hole, filled with the ends of worms and an oozy smell, nor yet a dry, bare, sandy hole with nothing in it to sit down on or to eat: it was a hobbit-hole, and that means comfort."
Our round doors, true grass roof hobbity home is built into the ground with high ceilings and amazing aesthetes that would make Bilbo proud. The Covington Hobbitlike Cottage is a unique build that some call a hobbitlike or gnome home that sits on 5acres of pristine landscaped acreage adjacent to our Kottage Knechtion treehouse Airbnb, and a short distance to our koffie house, the Koffie Knechtion.
We purposely do not have a TV in hopes that all our guests enjoy creation and relaxation created.
The space
Its a warm cozy house built into the ground with unique hobbit like design. We are close to downtown historic 4th street in Sioux City , Hard Rock Casino and nearby parks and muesums.
We do have a shower for our guests on the property located a short distance in our greenhouse adjacent to our coffee shop, the koffie knechtion. The shower is seasonal (based on Nebrask winter) open April - Oct. Very private and secure.

The Covington Cottage hobbitlike house rest on our 5 acres in close proximity to our treehouse the kottage knechtion and walking distance to the koffie knechtion, our coffee shop which is open Tuesday-Sunday and offers a variety of all homemade baked goods, speciality drinks, breakfast and lunch items. We are near by downtown historic 4th street in sioux city ia and a close distance to the hard rock casino. Nearby grocery stores and numerous amazing restaurants.

Our home , both rentals & coffee shop are on the same 5 acres where we maintain prestige landscape and amazing flower gardens. The coffee shop offers outdoor seating, gazebo and a.koi pond with waterfall that all guests are welcome & encouraged to enjoy.
