We had the best time in Costa Rica. The house was amazing. We loved the pool. We even had howler monkeys stop by for a visit one night. Everything was fantastic!

our multi generational family of 9 stayed here for 4 nights, Maria was wonderful, made us breakfast several days. The groundskeeper Bismark was up early each day tending to the pool and the lovely grounds. The kids loved playing in the pool, Bismark brought over several float items for the pool which everyone enjoyed. Wonderful memories are made here!

More beautiful than the pictures! The villa is spotlessly clean and well-stocked and Maria is a fabulous cook who made amazing breakfasts. The concierge team at Star Villas were extremely easy to communicate with and incredibly accommodating. We had an amazing trip - thank you!

We had an excellent vacation and the house was fantastic! The views were amazing and the house was a great set up. Maria making breakfast and cleaning everyday was so nice for the family. Kevin was always responsive with anything we needed. The home and outdoor pool and privacy made our stay very relaxing. Pura Vida!

Excellent family stay

We had the best family experience here, age ranges from 10-70! Maria and Kevin were both amazing between breakfasts and excursions, we highly recommend!

From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations. The property was stunning, spotless, and beautifully maintained- the online pictures don’t do it justice! The back patio and pool have incredible ocean views. Kevin was an amazing host - he greeted us, gave us a great orientation, and checked in with us to make sure everything was going well. Marie, our housekeeper was wonderful, making us breakfast every morning and keeping the house clean and tidy. I’d definitely recommend for large families or groups traveling to the island! We would absolutely come back. We give our Costa Rican vacation a 10.

Lovely villa

This is a lovely villa. The pictured pool is a highlight together with a very friendly and helpful staff. Our multigenerational family were all very happy.

Family vacation

We had a fantastic time, everything was perfect with the home. Gorgeous views! Maria was excellent, she made breakfast for us every morning and provided clean towels and daily housekeeping. Kevin and Sandy did an amazing job planning our dinners and transportation, and ensured that we had a perfect week. Loved it!

The host was very helpful in providing anything we wanted. She booked our excursion to zipline, raft and hot springs. She organized our driver for the week which made exploring very easy. The house was great, Maria the housekeeper was awesome. The only complaint was that the "hot tub" was not hot. The pool and jetted tub does not have heat. The kids didn't mind and there are so many beautiful beaches but would have been nice to have a nice soak under the stars.

Gracias! It was a pleasure to host your family! The jet pool/ swimming pool are not listed as heated. Pools in Costa Rica are rarely heated, generally they maintain comfortable temperature courtesy of the tropics sunshine. Thank you again for your visit!

Did not disappoint (again)!

I visited this property in 2023 with girlfriends and loved it so much I brought back my husband and other couples. They make everything so easy and the house is perfect for a big group. The pool and view are amazing! Would definitely go back again!

Wonderful Villa

This is a wonderful property with spectacular ocean views. Kevin (concierge) and Maria (cook/housekeeper) were both great; Kevin answered questions about the area and made recommendations for us while Maria prepared a wonderful breakfast each day and kept the villa clean. Juan, the caretaker, stopped by each day to clean the pool and patio area. Our family loved the entire property and it made our vacation special.

Great relaxing time with family and friends

We had an excellent stay. The house and staff are amazing! The sunsets from the house are some of the best I’ve ever seen. The breakfast made each morning and the two nights with the chef were delicious. Every activity from golf, fishing, or scuba was set up with a simple text with top notch services. We had a great time and will be back.

AMAZING! Location, house, staff!

One of our best trips to Costa Rica. So many things about the house are incredible - layout, views, setting, pool, entertaining areas, location and more! The Star Villa staff was a bonus. They helped organize our sight seeing, our private chef and hiring a driver for the entire week at a very reasonable price. I don't typically want to visit the same area or home twice, but I would definitely stay here again.

Our family of 8 just returned from a 9-day trip to Costa Rica, and it ranks among the best vacations our family has ever taken. Costa Rica delivered on every front: incredible adventures, amazing food, and a gorgeous house.What made this trip truly special was the team who supported us throughout. From the moment we arrived, we felt completely taken care of. The concierge team helped us plan our excursions and meals each day and were always available to answer questions — no matter how big or small. Victor, our driver, was an absolute gem: professional, warm, and always with a smile on his face. We never once worried about navigation or logistics, which meant we could simply be present and enjoy every moment together. Maria, our housekeeper, prepared a traditional Costa Rican breakfast for us each morning, and it was delicious every single time. The chef rounded out a team that made our whole vacation feel effortless and extraordinary.The house itself is stunning. The sunset view from the pool is the kind of thing you have to see to believe — we took what felt like a thousand photos! Whether we were out on excursions, exploring local restaurants, or doing absolutely nothing by the pool, every moment felt special. This place was amazing!

This house was absolutely amazing. We had five couples and there was more than enough room for everyone. The sunsets were unbelievable. Maria and Kevin took care of everything for us. They were awesome! Walter was our private driver for the week. He happily took us anywhere we wanted to go and helped us understand the area and culture. We will be back for sure!

A Perfect Vacation!

We absolutely loved our stay at Casa Camaleon! It is a beautiful and well-maintained property that was perfect for our nine family members ages 11 to 83. The layout is excellent, the pool and grounds are lovely, and the sunsets are breathtaking. The concierge service made our trip seamless for planning excursions, a driver and chef service. Thank you to Adriana, Kevin, Juan Carlos, and Maria for making sure everything was perfect. You helped us create beautiful memories that we will cherish.

Great Stay at Camaleon

What a week we had at Casa Camaleon! The house is beautiful, the infinity pool is fantastic, the sunsets from the pool couldn’t be better. Maria our housekeeper did a great job taking care of all 11 of us as did Diego our driver. Chef Mark and his team prepared wonderful meals for our group that everyone loved. Lastly Kevin our concierge was the best, he visited every day, responded to every message quickly, and was truly interested in making everything perfect… it was 😎 Stop thinking about booking Casa Camaleon just do it!

Amazing

We had such a wonderful time staying at this house. It was gorgeous! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the living spaces were comfortable, the kitchen was amazing, the pool and outdoor area was SO awesome, and the workout room was so great to have. Kevin was so helpful and quick to respond and Maria was maybe the best part! :) Her breakfasts were so good and she took such good care of us. We'd go back in a heartbeat.

Absolutely wonderful!

We rented Casa Camaleon to celebrate a birthday. Communication with the property managers was great. They responded right away with any questions we had. Sandy was extremely helpful and made the check-in process quick and easy. The house is absolutely amazing. It was extremely clean, the beds were all comfortable. The view is breathtaking! The breakfasts each morning were always delicious. This was by far our best vacation. We can’t recommend Casa Camaleon enough!

Perfect Week in Costa Rica

We loved the property, the location, and the staff! We had a great week with private transportation and chef service. Everyone was so nice! A couple of items I would say need attention in the home would be the refrigerator runs very loud, new stove as a couple of burners seemed to not get hot and for the property the stove is dated and too small. The house could use a few new pots and pans as well! Outside of that, the house was perfect and close to downtown which we loved!
