Welcome aboard the Apalachicola old train freight depot. Newly renovated spacious apartment with 1500 sq ft of space. Minutes away from the historical town of Apalachicola 2.5 miles, Boat Ramp 1.9 Miles, St.George Island 11 miles, Port St Joe 22 miles,
and Cape San Blas 20 miles.
This unique brick industrial apartment sleeps four. Has a kitchen, bath with washer and dryer, living room and two bedrooms.
Quite neighborhood, enjoy the outdoor courtyard and don't forget to look up at the stars.

This property is a cool, unique place to stay. We never even ate out as the kitchen was super clean and fully equipped. It was hot while we were here so we didn't fully utilized the super fun outdoor space. The decor is straight out of a magazine. We have stayed at a large number of places in the area, but this unit exceeded them all!!

Lovely serene place

We came in for the seafood festival. Beautiful spot just out of downtown. Quiet and very comfortable. Loved the back yard with a grilling area and cozy firepit. Easy to locate and nice and quiet. Listened to the great horned owls talk t each oeeach other a night.

Cute and historical.

We were so pleasantly surprised by how cute this place was. Very clean and open. Amenities were plentiful. The hosts left us a sweet welcoming card and gifts. I wish we were there for more than one night. The hosts really put a lot of thought into making our stay great. We would definitely recommend and stay here again. For the hosts: the Advil and headache powders were perfect.

Railroad Station Unit B review

The unit is beautiful and exactly as described. Great amenities and layout. The welcome 'gift basket' was thoughtful. Communication with the hosts were excellent, there was a small hiccup but they were on top of it immediately. Not to their fault but google maps shows the unit further north than the actual location but the rail toad crossing in the side of the fence helped make sure we never missed our turn. Would highly recommend staying here and well definitely be back if ever in the area

The Apalachicola Train Depo is a great place to stay! Don’t let the humble utilitarian exterior cause hesitation. While the building is literally bombproof the interior is newly renovated, spacious and comfortable. There is a well stocked kitchen, washer and dryer and did I mention spacious! There is parking for a a couple of cars or a boat and you are minutes from down town. The boat ramps and beaches in St George or Cape San Blas are 20 minutes away. Lots of attention to detail went into setting up this rental and it shows!

A Unique Stay with Historic Charm and Modern Comforts

We had an amazing time staying at the newly renovated train depot in Apalachicola! The property beautifully combines its historic charm with thoughtful modern updates, making it a truly one-of-a-kind experience. The attention to detail in the renovation is outstanding—the space retains its original character while offering all the comforts you could need. From the cozy furnishings to the well-equipped kitchen, everything was spotlessly clean and perfectly arranged. The high ceilings and large windows let in so much natural light, and we loved the vintage touches throughout the space. The location is fantastic—just a short drive to downtown Apalachicola, where we explored local shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. It’s also a great base for nearby outdoor adventures, like visiting St. George Island or exploring the Apalachicola National Forest. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. They clearly take great pride in this special property, and it shows. If you’re looking for a memorable getaway with history, charm, and a touch of luxury, this train depot is the perfect spot. We can’t wait to come back!

Love the train depot! Spotless. Loved the decor, comfy furniture & beds. Our favorite was the backyard with fire pit, corn hole, grill. The host was easy to work with & we really appreciated the welcome goodies. Thank you for a great stay
