This cozy mountain cabin is peaceful & secluded, but is centrally located in Brasstown NC b/w Murphy NC & Hiawassee, Blue Ridge, & Blairesville Ga. Reasonable drive to Helen and Ellijay. Relax by the fireplace, cuddle up by the fire table, soak and stargaze in the hot tub or snuggle up w/ a movie in our heavenly adjustable beds. The bathrooms with combo bathtub showers have stone tile and double sinks. A fireplace in the living room. There is a fire pit and fire table outside as well as a grill and an outside eating area with a spectacular view! Harrahs casino is just 13 minutes away! An escape from everything w/ all of the modern convenience of home. Starlink, Netflix & Alexa music.

Cozy Two bedroom, two full bathroom cabin with all of the convenience of home but the peace and tranquility that you desire, nestled high atop a mountain peak in a private mountain gated community! Come to our mountain paradise and escape all that ails you! All of the peace and tranquility you desire from the mountain lifestyle with all of the modern conveniences of home. High speed Starlink internet, Netflix, Amazon prime, Amazon music, smart door locks, Alexa. It is centrally located just over the North Carolina border within an easy drive to Tennessee , 25 minutes or less from Blue Ridge, Blairesville and Hiawassee Georgia! Enjoy the long range Mountain View’s from the second story balcony, the first floor deck, or as you relax in the hot tub with a morning cup of coffee or an evening glass of wine! The tankless propane hot water heater provides an endless supply of hot water so you will not ever have to take a cold shower! Drive to nearby Brasstown beef and grab a steak to throw on the grill for dinner, don’t feel like cooking, fine dining…..try The Crown restaurant just 8 minutes away or Chevelles for a burger, or Parsons pub for some Irish cuisine. Check out River Valley vineyard for a wine tasting and a bottle of wine to go! Try your luck at Harrahs Cherokee casino in Murphy just 13 minutes away! There are winter sports, gem mining, zip lining, fishing or tubing on the hiawassee river. Visit the fairgrounds in hiawassee for concerts or fairs, various festivals. 4 wheel drive is recommended but not required. There are traction mats just in case you would need them. The cabin is secluded but offers plenty of security as it is within a gated mountainb community. The gates close at 7pm and a code will be provided for you along with a 4 digit code which you will use to enter the home via smart lock.

Beautiful home and property! Enjoyed the cabin, its location and the views! Owner communicated well with us. Parking was a concern at first, since I have a rear wheel drive vehicle, but it did fine ultimately. Would definitely stay at this cabin again!

We had a wonderfully relaxing time! The cabin was immaculate, and the view amazing! Very quiet surroundings. Enjoyed coffee on the deck in the morning and the hot tub in the evening as the sun set behind the mountain.

Peaceful, beautiful place!

The cabin and view is all that’s listed, didn’t disappoint us a bit! Stunning views and a beautiful cabin. Our hosts were amazing and made sure we were comfortable and taken care of. Really enjoyed the hot tub on a cool night, totally relaxing! Look forward to staying here in the future!

Beautiful Stay

The cabin was absolutely breathtaking from the views, the cabin itself, and the personal touches. My daughter and I felt all the comforts of home while we were there. Nikell was a super attentive host and made sure we were taken care of. The pictures don’t do it justice. This cabin is definitely a gem and we can’t wait to stay again!

Amazingly beautiful cabin and views

We loved the cabin and its views. We felt like we were at home. Everything was super clean and you had everything you could possibly need. The kids loved the hot tub. The cabin was decorated beautifully and the furniture and beds were so comfortable. I could just sit on the porch for days. The view was absolutely the best part.

Very clean. Cabin had plenty of cookware, dishes and silverware. Host was very responsive. Getting in and out could be a problem for older renters due to the slope of the driveway.

Spectacular Stay

Absolutely everything about this cabin is 5 star. The hosts have thought of everything. The cabin is comfortable and relaxing. The kitchen is very well equipped; the mountain views are spectacular, (a must for our stay in the mountains) and spotless accommodations. We saw deer almost every day!Check-in was seamless, no problems at all. Communication with Nikell... amazing!

This was a beautiful home at the top of a mountain overlooking nothing but trees. Everything we needed to bake bread and make soup while staying cozy in horrible weather for two full days. Then the sun came out and we totally enjoyed the area to visit the “towns” and do some hiking. Living in Miami Beach it is always a needed change. Thank you for sharing your home.

Brasstown

We enjoyed the beautiful views from this cabin. We also enjoyed the hot tub which was conveniently located just outside the sliding doors from the downstairs bedroom. It was very relaxing with the lights surrounding the back deck and also the choice of colors in the hot tub. It was very clean inside the cabin and very nice. It is a bit challenging to back down the drive but very doable. The host is very helpful and available.

Weekend getaway

The pictures of this property are nothing compared to the reality of seeing it in person. From the sunsets to the passing rain storms just beautiful! The beds are very comfortable (and adjustable). You have everything you need in the kitchen including some really nice cast iron skillets that my husband loved using. Nikell was very informative and always quick to respond if we had any questions. She was an amazing host and we look forward to staying in her cabin again soon.

Total Serenity

This exceeded our expectations. The cabin is clean. Well appointed. Each bed was comfortable and cozy. The bathrooms were cabin luxurious. Even the kitchen cabinets and drawers were well organized. The view is panoramic. We never turned on any of the TVs. If you are looking for peace and quiet this is it. Our host ensued that the weekend went perfectly. Hopefully we can return soon.

The views alone are worth the booking , but then you get an immaculate home with great amenities. This place is truly a couples getaway dream!To top it all off, Nikell is an amazing host and you can tell right away that she cares so much about her guests.We will definitely be booking again!

It was a okay place to stay nothing to fancy. Say all she wants the boards were falling apart, the ai pictures didn’t feel as Tennessee feeling and there fans upstairs cause there no heat upstairs in that small room. When u look up her gift that wine is bout 6 dollars. The view is nice when there’s no Cushions where u see the view. Don’t burn the 15 dollar pan cause it’ll cost u 25. But the stay was pretty nice not worth 600 but pretty nice

Actually I have stayed in many mountain cabins and I did not want mine to be like every other one…. I put the canvas artwork or AI pictures as you called them there because I was going for fun and quirky . That’s why it is called HiJinx and shenanigans lodge. The $6 bottle of wine I leave was a gift and I did not have to leave you anything. My boards are not falling apart and it is one ceiling board in the upstairs bedroom where there is a slight gap because it is tongue and groove and the house has settled. I do have both heat and air upstairs so I’m not sure what you are talking about and why would you be using heat in this weather? You are being petty and mentioning that I don’t have cushions outside on the deck. How do you propose that I would keep them from getting wet and rained on and soggy and mildewy if I were to have cushions when I live 2 hours away and I’m not up there to remove said cushions every time it rains? Also up there perched on top of the mountain we get hellacious wind storms and they would get blown away. My fee was not $600, there are fees that Vrbo charges that has nothing to do with me. I only charge anywhere around 130 something to $150 per night. You failed to mention, that the cabin is spotless, i have spared no expense on comfortable adjustable beds, provide provided you with condiments, toiletries, coffee, creamer, seasonings, spices, and every other luxury of home that you could possibly want including never-ending hot water from a tankless hot water heater and a hot tub and just imagine what it cost to get that beautiful view. You couldn’t even get a crappy hotel room for what I charge per night for a beautiful Cabin. This is just petty and unwarranted!

The owner is very unreasonable and unresponsive at times and doesn't explain the parking situation until the day before. The house has a nice view from the upper and lower decks. She wants to control your every move as she thinks you're not supposed to go out the front door to much. She is also extremely disrespectful at times as well. If you have a bad knee or use a cane to walk with I wouldn't rent this property as it's at a very sharp angle to park and unload your belongings. The rooms don't have any closet space to hang your clothes up in the rooms.

This was a horrible guest! He flooded my bathroom with the toilet, left the house so filthy that the housekeeper could not believe only one person stayed there. He knew this was not a handicapped accessible property chose to park out if the way instead of directly by the deck steps and chose to climb stairs to get to the bedroom, even though there was an identical bedroom and bathroom on the first floor that he could’ve used, then proceeded to complain about it afterward. He began harassing me the moment that he left my property and was even having another person who didn’t stay at the property harass me. I was not unresponsive at all. The Guest showed up two hours early while I was working and was messaging me to try to get me to unlock the door for him early even though I had not agreed to it so when I did get these messages, I called him immediately and upon realizing that housekeeping was gone granted him immediate access for an early check-in. He did not contact me the rest of the time that he stayed there so there’s no way I could even be unresponsive. He is angry with me because he came onto my property and was walking around the property with three handguns, waving them around and mumbling to himself and terrified my neighbor, and because I said something to him about it he is now retaliating against me if you are reading his review, read all of my other reviews and consider the source. I’m guessing this might be why he flooded my toilet and left feces in it as well.

The neighborhood is gated and is in a great location, close to Harrahs Murphy casino (13 minute drive) and within a reasonable drive to Asheville NC, Tennessee, Helen Georgia, Ellijay Georgia, Blue Ridge Ga, Blairesville Ga, Hiawassee . This is a great location secluded yet has access to restaurants, tons of activities, state parks and preserves, hiking, fishing, tubing and numerous festivals throughout the year!

It is in a secluded location yet has access to everything you would expect to find in the mountains and more, including a casino! The beds are amazing assuring you rest well throughout your stay, the views are incredible, hot water is always hot with an on demand hot water heater, we have a hot tub, fire place, fire pit, fire table, indoor and outdoor eating areas an outdoor grill and a full kitchen with all of the supplies you need to cook full meals( even a crock pot and food processor) . You will not regret this booking as it has been noted that it’s even better than imagined or seen in the pictures!
