Great house!

We had a wonderful time. The hot tub was cold when we first got there so we called and before we even had our bags unpacked they had someone there to fix it! Very cozy vacation!

Comfy and relaxing.

Regardless of the rain, it was a great place to spend a week. Home was very nice and comfortable.

Needs some work

Nice area. Property needs some work. The hot tub cannot maintain temperature. Drops about 1 degree every 15 mins. Borderline unusable. Kitchen counters were dirty. Missing or limited staples (garbage bags, foil, cleaning supplies, etc). Furniture is very old and worn. Bunk bed ladder is dangerous and needs repaired. All said, some relatively inexpensive fixes could make this place much better. Will not be back.

Great ski getaway for family

We really enjoyed the open floor plan of this property for our family of five. The conveniently located laundry room was great to store our winter boots and ski outerwear. The kitchen was well stocked. The upstairs loft was a great place for the older children to hang out. Wish the tv was a little bigger and cable was more clear but we didn’t really spend much time watching tv so it didn’t matter. Conveniently located to ski at Timberline. We had a wonderful stay!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Here’s how you know the house and amenities were top notch- you spend a lot of time in there due to rain! Seriously, rained the entire time we were there. Spent one day on the slopes and one day in town, lots of time in the house. Small hot tub that cools quickly but we boiled water and just kept refilling to keep it hot. Everyone slept comfortably in all the beds and plenty of towels for the hot tub and showers! I’d suggest bringing extra paper towels, we only had one roll and used them quickly. Great stay, will be back!

Magical snowy getaway

Really great spot with easy access to white grass, canaan resort, and timberline. 12-18” of natural powder base and it snowed every day we were there (4 days). Cant beat it. Very nice space to host us, from cooking meals to playing games, it was great. We also greatly enjoyed the hot tub, but nicknamed it the “half tub” jokingly as it is not large enough for more than ~3-4 adults (there were 6 of us). Not a big deal, just a heads up!

Wonderful

The Craig house was wonderful. Very clean and quite. Only downfall is house says it will sleep 8 which it will. There were 6 of us but the hot tub is only big enough for 4 people and it looses heat very quickly so there was 2 people who always had to sit out when others were enjoying the hot tub.

Reviewer Comments: My fiancee and I, along with our two friends, just needed to get out of our hometown for a few days, and this was the perfect place to come! The house was big enough for everyone to spread out, while not feeling too large or overwhelming. The hot tub, grill, and deck area were perfect! Neighbors were close by, but you honestly couldn't even tell they were there most of the time. For a get away, it was perfect. However, if you are looking to be close to a lot of shops, restaurants, etc. this is not the location for you.

We enjoyed seeing all of them. The house suited our needs perfectly. It was clean and everything was in working order. We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub after hiking and the fireplace on the chilly nights.

Great house with everythibg we needed

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Myself and some friends rented this house from Thursday till Sunday. We used this as a jumping off point to hike Dolly Sods, Shenandoah, Timberline, and Blackriver Falls. The house was well equipped, with the kitchen having most items (only one baking sheet could be found), the hot tub was in good shape, and the house overall was clean and cozy. The grill and deck area was especially good- the grill has a hard gas line and the deck area is quite large here. The house is pretty private, and though we were there when there was no snow, the house is likely walking distance to the slopes.

Cherry Woods

The property meets the pictures. It is very nice, quiet, easily accessible. Hot tub needs updating/replacing. It was not working well. It was clean and friendly, though in need of a deep cleaning (windows, cobwebs, spiders in corners, shower door needs good cleaning. Recycling list needs updated. We kept it all but when we went to the stated location found that it changed 4 months ago and they only took cardboard and aluminum so we had to carry it back home with us since we had already turned in the key. Master bedroom bed is quite comfortable, others not so comfortable. Kitchen fairly well stocked (finally found two potholders after much searching). Grill needs new grates or good cleaning or bring foil to use on it.

Cozy home in quiet valley

Cozy home in lovely valley

Our family really enjoyed our stay at the Cherrywoods cottage. It is such a quaint area surrounded by natural beauty. The kids loved the Disney movies, kids' books, and hot tub. My husband and I even played a game of tennis on the property courts.

While not in walking distance (unless you are a sicko that wants to make a major hike in ski boots), it is not too far from the parking area. It was well maintained and clean.
