Esta casa cuenta con un dormitorio recién remodelado en el piso principal, electrodomésticos actualizados en la cocina y muebles nuevos en todo. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had another wonderful stay at Starry Nights for our annual Fall Fishing trip. The new hot tub is a wonderful upgrade and we enjoyed every evening! Our favorite spot to relax was in the Sitting Room in front of a nice fire every evening. Kitchen is well-appointed and had most everything we needed. The TV room furniture is a little hard to get up out of if you have 60-ish knees like me but soaking in the hot tub helped tremendously! As always, the gals at Best of Canaan were wonderful and we always recommend them!

Tranquil and Peaceful Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We absolutely loved this house! The location gave us a feeling of seclusion, even while being in a gated community. Plus, it is easy to get to various attractions.All the windows gave us a view of the beautiful leaves and wildlife. We had time to sit on the deck and relax, watch the wildlife and when it got colder, use the fireplace! The hottub is an extra plus and the desk setup came in handy to complete work for our jobs.The house was one of the cleanest we've stayed at in awhile. We could tell the owners take pride in their house and like to keep things in working order. We look forward to the opportunity of renting this place in the future.

Great place in Canaan area

We really enjoyed staying here this past weekend! The house was great and very close to the Timberline lodge. No major complaints, but if you stay here make sure you bring all the essentials (napkins, paper towels, etc.) as it was the bare minimum provided (it did have toilet paper and bath towels). Master bedroom is a loft bedroom, so if you have a lot of kids that stay up late, you'll hear everything, even from the basement. Plus no window treatments in mater bed, but it wasn't as bad as we thought it might be. Overall it was an excellent stay and we'd go back again for sure.

House was as described and is nicely equipped with just about everything you could possibly need. House is very spacious and has a lovely Sitting Room with a fireplace and floor to ceiling windows in the front. We sat there every evening after dinner and relaxed with a nice fire, watching the deer out front. We absolutely love the Staff at Best of Canaan. They truly feel like family to us and will address any need you may have!

Solar Eclipse at Starry Nights

House was fully equipped with everything you would need to relax and forget about the world for awhile. The Living Room has a wonderful fireplace and with the weather being chilly, it was nice to build a fire and relax in the evenings. Beds were comfortable and clean. The deck on the back was perfect for us to view the eclipse! Would definitely recommend! As always, the Gals at Best of Canaan were awesome to work with. They are very special and we recommend them to everyone!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had parked two trucks in the edge of the yard, and the owner had called and asked us not to no problem we moved them. That was wrong. On our part. We should not have parked them in the grass. After that, the owner accused us for other things that was not true. He has cameras watching every movie you make. Just wonder how many cameras he has in the house .

Beautiful Mountain Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was the perfect place for my husband and I to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with friends. The "cabin" was beautiful and spacious with wooden beams framing the interior of the lofted ceiling. There were three sitting areas that gave privacy to anyone who wanted a quiet place to read. We planned a wedding vow renewal ceremony in the sunken garden. It was a little disappointing that the stone steps were crumbling in places so was not safe to use. The trees in the garden were large and overgrown, not as pictured in the advertising. A current picture needs to be shown. The day was beautiful and we should have some lovely pictures. We also enjoyed from the living room watching the deer as they came up into the yard.I would recommend Mama Mia's for a delicious Italian dinner and the Canaan Valley Resort Lodge for a top chef inspired dinner. Jonathan Davis, the chef at the resort, created a superb dinner for all four couples. I would highly recommend the short ribs. One day the ladies went shopping in Davis and Thomas. If you are looking for some unique gifts or antiques you will enjoy the shopping experience. Some of the fellows went hiking in Blackwater Falls and others enjoyed the solitude back at the cabin. There is also a nice hiking trail around the lake.All in all we had a wonderful time and would return again. But I would like to note that housekeeping needs to do a better job on cleaning the bathrooms and we found disgusting food in one of the casserole dishes in a drawer in the kitchen. A light bulb was out in the overhead light in one of the bedrooms downstairs. The patio chairs need replaced. There were eight of us and only for chairs we could safely sit in. These are things that can be corrected and make it a perfect getaway.

Starry Nights adventure

The property itself is beautiful, private, and serene. The house was big enough to accommodate our large family. We did have an issue when one of our guests unexpectedly brought a dog. We paid a fine, but the owners graciously allowed us to continue our stay. Upon our arrival, We found three broken, unusable patio chairs on the deck. The numerous extra pillows would have been lovely; however, there were no extra pillowcases. The property management company/owner should tell renting clients to bring pillowcases. The shower curtains had a distinct musty/moldy smell. A king-size bed in the loft/master suite is a must!

A Perfect White Christmas

We had the perfect white Christmas here. We loved how spacious and cozy it was. The living room with the fireplace and wall of windows was perfect to watch the snow. We will definitely be back.

Beautiful, Relaxing Gals Getaway!

We had a great weekend hiking at Spruce Knob, Dolly Sods, and around the Timberline trails! The house was clean and quiet and very peaceful!

Some of the furniture was fairly tired, but this is probably the norm for vacation rentals. The HOA plowed the snow immediately and Best of Canaan was very accommodating.
