Make The County Cottage your luxe home base to explore beautiful PEC!

The County Cottage is a beautifully furnished 655 sq foot bungalow, situated in a pastoral landscape, close to all the best that Prince Edward County (PEC) has to offer. Enjoy a beach day at Sandbanks, tour some of the 40 plus wineries, sample craft beer at one of the many breweries, visit the bird observatory, stroll through the shops in charming Picton or Bloomfield...so many places to explore.
When you return to The County Cottage, you'll find a well equipped kitchen, a charming electric fireplace, a screened porch all designed with a beautifully modern country aesthetic. When it's time to call it a night, there's a full sized bedroom with a King size bed and a nicely proportioned second bedroom with a Queen size bed.
The property is perfectly situated between Picton and Bloomfield (10 and 7 minutes drive respectively) and offers privacy on our 2 acre lot. We look forward to welcoming you to The County Cottage!

Perfect place for a vacation! We stayed as a family of four and we had a wonderful time. The place is well equipped, and perfectly located in the county, close to everything. The hosts were friendly and checked in regularly to make sure we were comfortable.

Alan and Leah are amazing hosts! The Country Cottage is a beautiful little place, lovely decor, and really comfortable - we settled in immediately.A relaxing quiet respite from the city, and looking at the stars from the back porch is my highest recommendation.

Great family getaway!

I stayed at the County Cottage with my partner, 3 year old and our dog for three nights. The property was great and exactly as listed. Everything we needed was available and it was a short drive to all local attractions, groceries, etc. Alan was very helpful and communicative. We would definitely stay here again!

Alan, the owner, met us on our arrival and was very friendly and informative. The property was perfect for myself, my wife and our dog. There was plenty of garden for him and lots of fields around. The property was very comfortable and provided everything we needed for our 4 night stay. It was easy to reach all parts of PEC and we took advantage of visiting the whole area. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Alan was a great host. We will be back.

The County Cottage had everything we needed! Alan was super helpful and gave a quick tour when we arrived? Everything this very new and clean, also the location was great. Highly recommended!

Great stay! Would definitely return. I stayed with my husband and 2 kids. Everything was easy, clean, and well maintained. Nice open space for the kids to run around and play. Nearby wineries, Sandbanks Beach, Picton, etc. The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive.

Perfect First Family Vacation !

Absolutely perfect stay at the County Cottage ! For our very first vacation as a family of four, we couldn’t have asked for a better place to call home for a few days while we visited PEC with our twin babies ! Restorative weekend in PEC

County delights

The County cottage is perfectly located equal distances from Bloomfield and Picton making travel easy for all County activities. The quiet fields are the perfect backdrop for some rest and relaxation. Thank you to our excellent hosts.

PEC Getaway

This was a fabulous spot for my husband and I to be centrally located to hikes, wineries, shopping, farmer markets, breweries and beach! Leah and Alan were helpful, friendly and accessible if needed. We’ll be back!

County Cottage Comfort

We had an awesome stay at the County Cottage! This welcoming, well-appointed, clean tiny home has everything you need and then some and the location is a great home base for exploring PEC. I also love that it is pet-friendly, allowing furry family to come along on the adventure. Alan and Leah were friendly and responsive hosts who helped make our stay comfortable and positive. Looking forward to coming back sometime soon—so much more to do and explore in the county with the perfect place to stay!

We have lived in different parts of North America -- Southern California, BC and Toronto -- but have finally decided to put down roots here in "The County". Our 2+ acre property features the recently constructed (2022) County Cottage and we think that it's the perfect landing spot to enjoy all that the area has to offer. We look forward to hosting you!

Bucolic landscapes, some of the world's best freshwater beaches, 40 + wineries, many craft breweries, charming towns, highly rated restaurants...PEC has it all! We highly recommend planning time to visit Sandbanks Provincial Park, stroll downtown Picton, travel to the Prince Edward Point Natural Wildlife area and then sample some tasty wines. For those interested in antiques and collectibles, nearby Picton and Bloomfield are both great spots. We know that you'll enjoy The County as much as we do!

The County Cottage is a cozy, high spec 655 square foot bungalow beautifully designed with a modern country aesthetic. There's a nicely equipped kitchen, a beautiful indoor electric fireplace and all the mod cons including air conditioning, Apple TV (bring your own subscriptions and log in), Satellite internet etc.
