A beautiful piece of Heaven on the waterfront

A large 4 bedroom property with full kitchen, 3 full bathrooms, laundry room and a huge family room with plenty of seating and a dining table that seats up to eight. Two smart tvs and internet access. The back of the house has two large decks, a screened in porch and a walkway that leads from the house to the water where a ladder and steps offer access to the lake. Boats and jet skis may be secured to the dock during your stay. The boat launch is a short distance away and has space to park your boat trailer. The boat launch can actually be seen across the lake from our boathouse. The driveway at the house is on an incline and is not suitable for parking of boats and or trailers. Swimming and sunning can be enjoyed around the spacious deck. A short drive or boat ride will take you to Goose Pond Colony with all it has to offer. Multiple restaurants and stores are also a short drive away. This property has a no smoking and no pet policy.

We enjoyed our stay this Thanksgiving week. The house was comfortable with plenty of seating in the family room for visiting & eating. Would like to have use of broom/dustpan, mixing bowls, working fireplace. Decks & fishing pier a plus! Will definitely rent again.

it was a beautiful house and very open and comfortable. The owner was very responsive when we had questions. The driveway down to the house took a little getting used to, it's a bit steep. We really enjoyed the house and deck.

Spring fishing trip in Scottsboro

We come to Alabama every year for a week with a group of friends to fish and have stayed in several Vrbo houses. This location was really nice and good location. House was well stocked with what we needed, lots of space, great dock to leave the boats in the water. Property had great outside deck/porch space and was able to use them with good weather during the week. Driveway is pretty steep as mentioned in the listing. Made accommodations to leave the boat trailers elsewhere and a minor inconvenience. Overall this didn’t impact our satisfaction. It does have quite a few steps to get to the downstairs/boathouse but again not a big deal. Good communication with the owners and would recommend this stay. Really nice house and good access to the lake.

Lots of room!

The house worked well for our family of six. The house was clean. The location was nice for us as we spent time in Scottsboro, Guntersville, Cathedral Caverns plus traveled to Chattanooga and Noccalula Falls. The driveway was steep, but had plenty of room to navigate/park to help load/unload safely with our minivan.

Fishing/Golf Trip

Great location on the lake with plenty of room for our group of 8. Good communication with the owner. The house was clean and comfortable. Few disappointing things outside. Leaves hadn't been taken care of and completely covered the back deck, patio, and walkway down to the dock. So we spent some time cleaning those up. The lights down to the dock and on the dock didn't work. They were on a timer but we didn't have access to the timer to see what the issue was. Also, there was no gas grill, only a couple small charcoal grills. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay.

Wedding weekend

Overall our stay here was excellent. The home was lovely and very room for 8 adults. The neighborhood was quiet for the most part. Unfortunately, there was a bass tournament on the lake the same weekend we were there and the boats were quite loud. This is by no means the property's fault. I have just a couple of observations. The driveway is extremely steep so if you are uncomfortable with driving on an incline, you would do well with another location as you cannot park on the road.if you are comfortable with it, make sure your vehicle can get you up the slope. There is a step-down from the dining area to the two main floor bedrooms. The step down is not marked and would be easy to miss it and stumble either going up or coming down..there was a lighting atrip installed but it did not work. All in all, we had a wonderful time at the home .

Family of 4 states met here for 4 amazing relaxing days!!

Thank you for having my family! The home fit us all perfectly and we did not feel cramped at all!! It was very relaxing & serene! We had mostly elderly in our group and it was important that they were all comfortable!!

Memorial day weekend getaway

We had a wonderful 3 day family reunion at Guntersville Lake. This is a beautiful location with a two story back porch and a master bedrooom with a lake view. Beautiful home with updated kitchen. Plenty of room with 4 separate bedrooms. We easily fit 6 adults and 2 children with space for more. There is a new dock with room for fishing, boating or just sitting and enjoying the view.
