Welcome to Reel 'em Inn, our home away from home, close to all the things in Guntersville & Scottsboro. Easy 8 mile drive to Goose Pond Colony Resort. The entire 2 story cabin is all yours to enjoy. We have sought out to equip our home to a high standard and to anticipate your needs for a cozy Lake-Front stay. This comfy cabin directly on Guntersville Lake has everything you will need to spend time fishing from the bank, enjoying #LakeLife or just relaxing on the lake-view porch or by the sprawling fire pit . With our hi-speed fiber internet, portable desk table, and cushy chairs, you can also work remote (telecommute) with ease and dependability. The cabin sits only steps away from the waters edge with panoramic views of, and easy access to, the lake via the flat sprawling backyard. Pura Smart Fragrance Diffuser added in September 2025. Remotely managed device emits calming, delicate scents for relaxation. One in living room and one upstairs. If you prefer not to have them in use, simply ignore them or unplug if you wish, but please plug back in at the end of your stay.

Access to the private, gated neighborhood boat ramp and community dock is included! The cabin offers an open 2 car garage with plenty of outlets and lights for your trailers and for keeping your boats ready to hit the water. Your truck and boat (even with PowerPoles) will easily fit in the garage with room to spare. The driveway is also flat, long and spacious to accommodate additional parking.

There is 1 outdoor motion activated floodlight Ring camera installed by the main (side) door of the property for safety and security purposes.
Please keep charcoal grill far away from the house & always monitor when cooking. Clean grates afterwards. Cover grill on checkout day (once cooled).

Cozy Cabin on the Lake

First I would like to say that the property owners are supper nice and friendly people. They communicated with me very well. My wife and I spent most of our day out visiting all the antique and thrift shops in and around Scottsboro so when didn’t spend a ton of time at the cabin. I can say what time we did spend in the cabin we were really relaxed and cozy.

It was a very cute place in a great spot, Close to everything. The air was not working correctly. and was never fixed the whole stay. We were there for 4 days, and before we got there it wasn't working with the previous guest. The yard was not cut, a lot of bees. But owner did communicate after we got there about the air.

Peaceful Getaway on Lake Guntersville

If you want to throw your kayaks right into the lake and do a little fishing, and stay in a charming, clean house with eagles, herons, and ospreys flying overhead this is the place! Downtown Guntersville with some good restaurants isn't far either. The hosts were so very accommodating as well.

Really Happy at Reel ‘Em Inn

We had a very nice and peaceful stay at Reel ‘Em Inn. Our group of 6 enjoyed the comfort and cleanliness of this property. The location was great — right on the lake and in a nice neighborhood. Communication with the owners was quick and polite and all our needs were met and every effort was made for us to enjoy our stay. I recommend this property and look forward to booking it again. This was exactly what we needed! Quiet neighborhood, AMAZING view of the water, the neighbors were nice & friendly. In between G'ville & Scottsboro either direction- easy access to the lake.

Perfect location for Fishing tournament

The house was easy to find & such a beautiful spot on the water to spend the weekend. It was decorated so cute & I loved that it so clean. The mattress was comfortable & we had everything we needed there.

Nice getaway

Nice little bungalow on the water. No dock but easy to fish right on the shoreline. Very quiet and peaceful. Visited Cathedral Caverns and Tigers for Tomorrow and enjoyed nice dinner in Guntersville. Our kids loved the bunk room.

Lakeside Heaven

Perfect lakeside cabin. Comfortably sleeps 6 but with 2 couches 8 is doable. Kitchen has all the necessities for cooking. Screened in back porch nice for relaxing outside or enjoy the firepit. It’s not a place with tons of room inside to spread out. We stayed on the lake or in the backyard area for most of our activities and used the cabin primarily for sleeping. It was perfect for our family of 6. Thank you Steve & Misty for allowing us to enjoy your lakeside cabin.

Crappie fisherman

Nice property with great view of the lake. House was very nice and clean. Owners were super to communicate with and were quick to respond to all messages. Carport was large and easily accommodated our deep V boat and F350 truck. Located between Scottsboro and Guntersville. Had a great stay and would stay here again.

GREAT spot

Came to Scottsboro for my sister’s wedding at the Glass House. Can’t recommend this place enough. Clean, easy, and so comfortable. Beautiful views and made the whole weekend perfect! Will stay here again and recommend to all. Thank you!

Very cute place

The house is very small, tiny kitchen and living area, the bathroom is in the kitchen areaa, and the dining table is in the living area, but very clean and so cute, love the walling in the living room, we had a problem with the air conditioning, had to keep flipping the breaker every couple of hours one day, some times it would last 3 to 4 hours to keep blowing cold air, but host called right back and they are working to get that problem fixed, host was very nice to talk with and got right back with me,Everyone was excited about swimming,which you couldnt do, the water was full of some type of weed and grass all over, could not get in water at all which was dissapointing, but very spacious back yard that is right on the water, and relaxing fire pit, enjoyed the screen room on the back looking out on the lake

Nice property on the lake

Nice property on the lake. Very clean house, nicely arranged. Perfect for a group of 6. Grounds well taken care of. Lots of space to play and roam. While there's not a dock at the house, you can pull a flat bottom/pontoon boat right up to the shore. Milfoil and grass is quite bad, which detracts from the swimming at the house. The air conditioners were a bit frustrating, but the property owner was very responsive. We had some severe weather that snuck up on us, and it became apparent there was not a weather radio in the house. Would definitely return.

From the wide screened porch to the easy stroll to directly to the edge of the lake, this house had everything in between for us to enjoy with our little family. We love fishing and nature, and right from the start, we were able to spot and catch bass, catfish, bluegill - even huge crawfish from the gorgeous waters of the lake. We put them right back though, so come along, they are ready for you to catch and Reel 'em Inn!
