Host was welcoming enjoyed my stay until they told me I smoked in there room when I’m fact they should have on camera my boyfriend outside on the porch smoking because we respect the places we stay at and he will not able in someone’s room! They claim they have proof of me smoking on camera but v in fact when he went v out to smoke I was going to bed to sleep! I don’t appreciate being said I've done simmering I infect dos not do! Bed was uncomfortable couldn’t watch tv!

It was lovely speaking with you during Valentine’s morning breakfast, and we’re happy you enjoyed both breakfast and your stay—until after your departure, when we had to contact you regarding the smoking issue in the room. We do want to clarify the smoking concern. I shared that our cameras recorded activity of you on the front porch smoking only after you stated that neither you nor your boyfriend smoke. Upon your departure, both owners and two staff members inspected the room and found it strongly reeked of smoke. The odor was so strong that it required extensive remediation, including steam cleaning carpets, fabrics, curtains, and running an Ozone machine, along with other treatments, to fully restore the room to a smoke-free condition. During this process, the room was temporarily removed from availability, and incoming guests had to be relocated. We take these matters seriously to protect our 1860s vintage bed and breakfast and future guests. We also appreciate your comments regarding the bed and TV setup and will review them for improvement. We wish that you had reported the bed or TV issues to us during your stay, as we could have addressed them or possibly relocated you to an upgraded room. We value all guest feedback. Charming B & B

We enjoyed staying at this charming B & B. Our room was very clean and our bed was comfortable. We loved our delicious breakfast in the morning. Everyone we came in contact with were very friendly. Very easy check in. Would highly recommend.

A real retreat

This was the first time using Victorian Inn. This B+B was as comfortable as it gets. We had #8, which was located in a private area of the Inn, with private bathroom, and private front porch which had a beautiful breeze. We were quite comfortable. We enjoyed the hot breakfasts on the weekend and the Continental breakfast for Monday. The Inn is centrally located for the sights and restaurants of this area.

Very relaxing couple of days

The Victorian Inn was absolutely wonderful. The Inn has so much character and warmth. You definitely feel at home in the plush living room. We had a large group and it was great place to sit and relax for the evening. Shelley was accommodating and made us feel very welcome and catered to every need. Will definitely return. We are actually planning a return trip with the same group and some of our other friends. Dave Pence

restful

This is a lovely, restful place. It's a nice little distance from the retail area yet close to the state and local beaches as well as the usual boating and fishing of Lake Erie. Additionally it is close to restaurants and a good grocery store. The back deck is pretty and peaceful. The sheets and towels were excellent and the bedroom, bathroom and common areas very clean. This was my second time here and will not be my last. Customer service was great. A personal call alerted me that I left something important behind when I checked out. Thanks for the personal service!!!
