We really enjoyed our stay here for our girls trip! It was nice and quiet, away from the busy areas, while still being conveniently located near the beach and other tourist attractions. We felt very safe here throughout our stay, which was important to us. We were initially a little concerned about the bar underneath, but it ended up not being an issue at all; we could barely hear it. The host was easy to work with and responsive during our stay. We would definitely stay here again!

Glad you enjoyed. The bar is actually a fantastic restaurant that closes at 10pm. And yes! 2 feet of concrete between keeps the noise to zero. More 8 foot sidewalks coming to the area in the Fall. Bring your bikes next time to hop over to the Gulf State Park.

Glad you enjoyed. 2 units are open loft style with separating wall between living area and king bed ; 2 units are with enclosed bedroom. All lofts (Sandpiper/ Heron/ Osprey/ Heron) are accurately pictured and described. Full kitchens in all lofts.

We enjoyed our stay here, very clean and comfortable. It's close to everything. The place was quiet even though the rooms were located on top of the pub. Tried the food from there on iuur last night and it was delish! Thank you for having us.

Quiet and Comfy

The Loft was cute and had just the right amount of space for us. My small pups had a great time as well. We loved the convenience of it. Easy to clean and the washer/dryer really helped!

Great location

Walking distance to alot of stuff. Short drive to Walmart, Wharf, Beach and Tanger. No problems with noise at all from the restaurant downstairs or other guests. Very quiet neighborhood. The Pelican Loft was clean the bed is very soft. Had a great stay will stay again. Host is very accommodating.

The loft was super convenient and homey. The layout of the loft was ideal. Super clean with nice furniture and upgrades. Perfect for a single person stay or a couple.

Sitting on top of a really nice Irish Pub, we really enjoyed the location. Overall, we enjoyed the stay, but just a couple complaints/suggestions. First of all, the floors. They appeared clean and were well vacuumed, but walking barefoot or in socks showed that the floors badly needed mopping. Next, the bed/mattress seemed like an afterthought. Bedframe was very cheap and squeaked with every movement. Towels were thinner and smaller than in a crappy motel. There was no coffee, as promised. The A/C vent/filter were clogged with dust and the ceiling fan in the bedroom was also in need of cleaning. And don’t ask me to take out my own trash. So, a lot of little things that if corrected, would really have elevated our experience.

Not sure what compels people. “Overall, enjoyed the stay and great location”. But mad about trash? Best of luck to this empowered complainer…Lofts are clean, modern and enjoyed by many!!

Nice property, in quiet neighborhood and close to business and restaurants. I would have given 5 stars but cleaning needs improvement. The floor was dirty and walking barefooted or with socks was a no-no. Some of the kitchen utensils were also dirty. Attention from the cleaning crew within occupants transition in this areas is recommended.

the bathroom was not clean, specifically the toilet was nasty and shower doors were not clean. the sheets were clean but the comforter was not clean. Pillow shams were stained and had the wrong size pillows in them. NO KEURIG! spend the $$ and buy a Keurig that is combo for pods and coffee pot. the area around the bed and night stands were dusty and gross and had dead vermin. the mattress needs replacing it is breaking down on the sides and it is TOO soft. The couch has so many stains on it we did not sit on it. you should have to stay in your own rental a few times a year to appreciate what your renters experience. Jan1&2 2026

Nice unit, but…

Beautiful new, nicely furnished unit. Convenient location. We had a misunderstanding though with the unit we stayed in & it took us over 1 1/2 hours to reach one of the co-owners after we arrived to get our question answered. The host was overseas & wasn’t available to us. Things that could have made our stay much better…After arrival we found a dirty towel hanging in our bathroom from a prior guest, & the floors were dirty with our feet & socks getting black residue on them after just a few minutes in the unit. A few simple changes could have been made to make this a 5 star stay.

This loft was so cute and a perfect size for me and my 2 children. As an autistic person I am super sensitive to sounds and thought I may be bothered from the pub being below us but it was very quiet and I didn't notice anything. I was super grateful for the washer and dryers to do laundry which made traveling to our next destination easier. Having a full kitchen was also great for those that may have dietary restrictions or like to cook and need a place to store their own meals. I would definitely recommend this loft it is super close to the beach and lots of fun things to do and great eating spots
