Nestled on the sunny slopes of Big Sky’s Moonlight Basin, this exquisite 3-bedroom plus huge loft, 4.5-bathroom home offers breathtaking views of Lone Mountain, Andesite Mountain, and the Spanish Peaks. Enjoy ski-in/ski-out access to the biggest skiing in America, a private hot tub overlooking Big Sky Resort's slopes, and a short drive to Yellowstone.
Inside, Shadow Ridge 5 boasts designer western interiors and luxurious finishes. The spacious open-plan great room features vaulted ceilings, exposed log beams, hardwood floors, and ample seating around the cozy wood-burning fireplace. The custom kitchen is fully-equipped for preparing home-cooked meals and entertaining, whether indoors or under the stars.
The sleeping accommodations in this designer home are equally impressive. Shadow Ridge comfortably sleeps 11 guests, with three beautiful bedrooms on the lower level and a spacious loft room, all featuring private bathrooms, flat screen TVs, and home-like comforts. The master suite offers a custom king size bed, a fireplace, and a covered patio with tranquil wooded views. The en-suite bathroom boasts a walk-in glass shower and large soaking tub. Bedroom 2 features a queen size bed, while the third bedroom offers custom log bunk beds. The upper level loft room includes two twin beds, pull-out twin trundles, and a private bathroom.
Moonlight Mountain Homes provide direct ski access to the Moonlight Basin and Madison Base areas, offering endless outdoor activities. Only a ten-minute drive to Big Sky’s Mountain Village and a scenic 45-minute drive to West Yellowstone, this luxurious mountain retreat combines seclusion with convenience.
Ski Access is king at the Moonlight Mountain Homes, with direct ski-in/ski-out access to Moonlight Basin and Big Sky Resort. Access lift start date varies, but typically early to mid-December. Access lifts may close before Big Sky Resort's closing day depending on snow conditions. No access until lifts open and after lifts close. Direct access to the Madison Base Area Ski School makes morning lessons a breeze.
Ski Out:
Step out the back door onto Bootlegger ski access. Follow this to the turn-off on the left for Alpine Meadows to get to the Madison Base or stay on this access to ski to Ironhorse Lift and the Moonlight Lodge.
Ski In:
From the top of Iron Horse lift or Six Shooter lift, follow signs for Powder River. Ski through the concrete tunnel and PAST the first skier bridge on your right. Take a hard right turn on Natawista which is the first right after the bridge. Follow this access over two skier bridges. DO NOT turn left off the main path. It will transition to Bootlegger which will bring you back to the house.
