At this house you have an upper and lower deck perfect for night sky stargazing! A open concept first floor with a bathroom, kitchen, living, room, office space, and laundry room. The second floor has a reading nook loft area, and both bedrooms. The master bedroom has a bathroom and walk in closet equipped with a relaxing spa jet tub. It also has a deck attached perfect for early morning coffee while the sunrises. The second bedroom has a space to hang clothes and a small chair along side the bed for relaxation. It has off street parking and is a short drive to get to the diamond where you can find location coffee shops, diners, restaurants, and bars!

Overall, the house was nice and as described in the listing. Some areas that could use a refresh include the upstairs bathroom and the dishwasher in the kitchen. Very convenient to the Elk viewing areas and attractions in the St. Marys area.

Upon arrival the air conditioning had been running to allow comfortable conditions. Everything that we had forgotten was available on site. The host was wonderful with suggestions for food and entertainment. Highly recommended.

Great stay

The house was exactly has pictured and described. Very roomy, clean and conveniently located to St Mary's. Close to several restaurants, wineries, fishing streams and elk viewing areas. The kitchen was well equipped and the host was quick to respond when needed.

Comfortable home

We stayed here for 10 days. We were very pleased with the home, the location was perfect for our time in St. Mary’s, Ridgway and the surrounding areas. The owner was super responsive before our stay and reached out to us during the stay to be sure all was good. I highly recommend this home to others and will definitely rent again when we are back in St. Mary’s.

Owner very responsive. Guest accommodation info on the Vrbo was incorrect, however Haleigh did take care of that. House very nice, area very quiet. Beds were the only downfall, they were not that comfy. But all in all nice weekend getaway.

Hayley is very easy to contact and answers quickly. She suggested her favorite local restaurants and things to do. The driveway of house isn’t well marked and we passed it twice before finding it. House was very clean, master bed is very comfortable. Renovating seems to be in progress.

Balcony not at all scenic. Kitchen was perfectly appointed. Only issue was no dish cloths/sponges. Also only one dish towel. We did dishes a couple times a day so more dish towels would’ve been handy. Kitchen was absolutely beautiful.Living room furniture was extremely comfortable and cozy. We were able to get the bills game and a couple movies on our own accounts.

Weekend getaway

The house was nice and clean and warm. Just what we needed for a cold, snowy weekend. The beds were comfy.My daughter enjoyed the extra work space to work on her crafts she brought along. Overall an enjoyable weekend

Great stay!

This house was perfect for our weekend outing to see the elk! It is about 35 minutes from the Elk visitors center. wouldn't recommend following a GPS over the mountain on the back roads.

Cozy stay

Beds were very comfortable. It was a warm week in PA so owner was kind enough to place a window A/C unit to keep house cool. Large, fully stocked kitchen.

The property overall does resemble the photos, though the listing images seem to have filters that make it appear a bit brighter and newer than it feels in person. The home has an older, lived-in charm, and it seems that some updates are still in progress.The linens and towels were clean, though on the older side, and the master king bed was quite firm. The upstairs shower could use some attention, and while the location is a little outside of town, you can still hear some traffic passing by.It’s not that the photos are inaccurate—they just convey a lighter, more refreshed feel than the actual experience. The house itself has a cozy, vintage vibe, more like staying at a well-loved family home.On a positive note, the owner was wonderful to communicate with—very responsive through the app and quick to answer any questions. Check-in was seamless, and there were no issues accessing the property.
