Small family-friendly two bedroom cottage on Chincoteague Island! In a quiet residential area with a slight view of Little Oyster Bay across the street. One mile to Maddox Blvd, and three miles onto Assateague Island. Simple cottage features one queen bedroom assessed via bedroom 2 which is perfect for kids/ teens bunk beds with trundle and living room sleeper sofa. Both bedrooms have doors for privacy.Located in quiet residential area, property is cute & clean, it is a beach cottage not a luxury resort. The view and experience are great and will be enjoyed by couples & families alike! So much to do on Chincoteague from getting back to nature or cruising the island in a golf cart and enjoying many shops and activities. Amenities include very large outside shower, fire pit, outdoor seating, charcoal grill, bikes (waiver required), backyard games and more. Nearby public boat/kayak launch, Fir Landing. Minutes from NASA Wallops Flight Facility. Please reach out with questions. Cottage has Security cameras in front and rear. Contact host for midterm stay deals December through March.

We truly enjoyed our stay at Waterfowl Watch Cottage. We appreciated the quiet location, but the home is still conveniently close to restaurants and other attractions. The host was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The cottage was very clean and well-maintained. There are chairs and other beach gear, bikes, cornhole boards and lots of other helpful items in the garage. Thanks for a great stay!

Adorable, cozy cottage—perfect island getaway

We loved our stay at this charming little cottage! The space was cozy, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The host was incredibly communicative and helpful—she even put together a fantastic binder full of local recommendations, which made exploring the island so easy and fun. My girls had the best time riding bikes all over the island, and we loved how close everything was. We’d absolutely love to stay here again!

5 Stars – Perfect Cozy Getaway!

This home was absolutely perfect—cute, comfortable, and incredibly cozy. The location couldn’t be better: safe, quiet, and just a short drive to the beach and everything in town. The house had everything we could possibly need (and more!), from kitchen essentials to beach chairs, which made our stay so easy and enjoyable. The yard is beautiful and peaceful—a great place to relax. The owner went above and beyond with communication and made sure check-in was a breeze. She even left a few fun goodies for myself and my 5 year old! We felt so welcomed and cared for. We would absolutely stay here again!

Cozy weekend family getaway

We loved this cozy cottage for our family of 4! It had everything we needed and more - including bicycles and a nice backyard and laundry line. Jennifer was an excellent host and super responsive, answering all of my many questions before and during our stay. We also appreciated all of the little details (toiletries, soaps, and coffee!). Oh and our kids walked down to the public docks to go crabbing which was a huge delight. We will definitely consider staying here again!

This was one of the best trips and accommodations I have ever had!! The home was so cute & quaint location was great!! I am so happy I went. The owner was so friendly and helpful I would recommend going and staying here. Took my daughter and grandson 2 & 4 they want to come back already. Lovely little cottage

The cottage was very clean and well maintained. The location was nice and quiet, with woods in the backyard, marsh across the street, and within a couple of minutes' drive to restaurants and Assateague State Park.

Quiet setting

Quaint, clean and cozy. Nice big back yard. Everything you need but the food! We especially liked the fact that the beach theme did not clutter up the living space. Thank you!

Very accommodating!

Perfect size for my family. Kids under 10 stayed in the bunk beds while the baby stayed in the pack-n-play. This house has everything you need, from bikes, helmets, sand toys, corn hole, to toothbrushes, soap and anything you might have forgotten. Jennifer is quick to respond and will provide any suggestions she can think of to insure your stay will be great. Thank you for having us!

A darling cottage in a beautiful area

The cottage was adorable, clean, and well stocked with amenities. The host left us a little gift which was very sweet! We had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the kids loved the bunk beds. We saw hummingbirds and toads in the yard, and could see and smell the water from the house, which was great. The house is close to downtown and we could have biked most places in the area from here. We did not use the bikes, most of the time, however. The sand toys were great to have, our son enjoyed building with them on the beach. We had a great long weekend in Chincoteague and would recommend this property!

Relaxing week

This cottage was so clean and Jennifer thought of the little extras to make our stay enjoyable. She even had chapstick for us. The beds were comfortable which is so important as we get older. All towels and bedding seemed brand new.

Pony Swim

We stayed the week of the pony swim and had a blast! The cottage was simply lovely. Jenn thought of everything you could possibly need while on vacay. We plan to come back next year because it is such a quaint little community and seeing the wild ponies was such fun!! The only thing different we will do is stay longer!!

Perfect cozy cottage and family friendly

This was my first time using Vrbo. Jennifer made it so easy and the best experience. My family and I stayed for 4 nights at Waterfowl Watch and we will definitely be back. The house so cute and cozy. Great backyard for kids the play, grill, clothes line, outdoor fireplace and furniture. The kids loved the outdoor shower. The location is perfect. Area is quiet and not alot of traffic. The house was clean and stocked with all the essentials you need if you didn’t bring any. Jennifer made us feel welcomed. Can’t wait to visit again!

Great Place

The house was perfect and the neighborhood is beautiful. My daughter and I rode the bikes back and forth to the wildlife refuge. Our vacation was absolutely perfect and so was the house. Thank you so much!! Highly recommend staying here!
