Esta encantadora casa tiene acceso a la playa privada, además de un área privada de fite pit directamente al lado de la playa. Las maravillosas vistas del oc��ano y la playa abundan desde la sala de estar, la cocina y el comedor, además de dos de las habitaciones.

Nuestra cocina recientemente remodelada viene equipada para 8 personas y cuenta con un estilo europeo, electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, refrigerador de lado a lado con máquina de hielo, lavaplatos integrado, todo rodeado de azulejos Pratt y Larson. Te encantará esta cocina bien equipada. Tanto la cocina como el comedor tienen grandes vistas del océano, además de una gran puerta corredera que conduce a una enorme terraza con vista al patio con césped, ideal para un juego rápido de voleibol o croquet y la hermosa playa Manzanita de 7 millas.

Un paso m��s arriba de la cocina es la sala de estar semiprivada, lo que significa que uno puede escapar allí para descansar y leer un libro o ver un programa en el televisor de alta definición mientras contempla la vista incomparable de la playa. O encienda un fuego en la gran chimenea a leña, siéntese y disfrute de la vista completa del océano hacia el oeste y la vista completa del sur hacia la playa, ¡hasta Rockaway!

Al otro lado de la sala de estar, se encuentra el dormitorio principal, completo con una generosa cama tamaño king con acolchado adicional, vista privada desde la terraza para su caf�� de la mañana y baño privado con accesorios europeos y una gran ducha con azulejos Pratt & Larson y la enorme ducha de lluvia Hansgrohe.

Encontrarás dos dormitorios más en el extremo norte de la casa. El dormitorio occidental también cuenta con una cama king generosa con puerta corredera privada a la terraza con vista a la playa, y una de las mejores vistas de la costa. El tercer dormitorio tiene dos juegos de literas (aptas para adolescentes y menores). Al lado de las habitaciones, hay un segundo baño con accesorios europeos, los fant��sticos azulejos personalizados Pratt & Larson y una ducha de agua caliente para recibirlo después de un d��a de búsqueda en los tidepools.

La casa cuenta con muebles y ropa de cama de calidad, además de un alto número de sábanas de algodón 100%, lo que garantiza su comodidad en nuestra encantadora casa frente al mar con fabulosas vistas.

Private, quiet, very well equipped Kitchen, views that are stunning! The beds are very comfortable. The home is a wonderful quiet place to soak up the sun And ocean. A few steps out the back door and you are on the beach!! Lovely sand beach… Very clean.The town is adorable and has everything we needed. Lovely clean house with high quality amenities and kitchen stuff and very comfy beds. Spectacular views and beach access. Our dog loved the huge grassy yard. Would definitely stay there again. We very much appreciated the host who promptly brought over a replacement microwave when the main one malfunctioned.

Cozy haven during a rainy weekend

An atmospheric river didn't stop our group of 6 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 dogs from enjoying our stay at this tasteful cottage located on the north end of our favorite Oregon beach. We gathered around the fireplace in the cozy living room, watched the dramatic crashing waves just beyond the dunes from the large windows, and quickly pulled on our boots when the rain let up for walks on the beach. This is a special house rain or shine.

A really nice beach cottage

This is a pleasant nicely appointed beach cottage. The huge advantage is it is right on a beautiful beach with a very easy access trail from the back yard. The host will send you check in and check out instructions via a link. My phone had difficulty pulling up the link so be sure you open it well in advance o you can contact her for details if you have an older model phone.

Great beach location!

My wife and I brought our 3 dogs to enjoy the beach, and we were not disappointed. The property’s location was as described, right on the beach with private beach access. One thing that would be helpful is if there was some kind of marker on the beach to the trail—we both got lost a few times early on but figured it out by the weeks end. Several other folks got lost coming up our trail as well. Our dogs loved the wide beach and we all had a great time. Kitchen was lovely and well stocked, and the check in process was very easy. No complaints at all, the property had everything we could ask for.

Quiet home on the Beach

Our family of eight had a perfect time at this wonderful property. The neighborhood was quiet and the home was clean, fully equipped and there was enough space for everyone. We had been planning & looking forward to this family vacation for several months & it exceeded our expectations. We were at the beach everyday & enjoyed the town of Manzanita which was walking distance. A great find that we will rent again!

Best Little Beach House

We LOVED staying at the cottage! It's so beautifully decorated and comfortable. The furthest thing from a generic rental. The location right on the beach was incredible! Loved having a fire in the firepit right on the dunes. My kids loved the bunk bed room. The beds were all so comfortable. The washer and dryer were brand new and super quick and efficient. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful house & location! Pet owners: rethink your stay

This house is gorgeous and the location is hard to beat! We had some friends visiting from Colorado and wanted to show them the OR coast and stayed here for one night and everyone loved it. PLEASE NOTE: 1. This house is through another rental company. By renting through VRBO, they tack on an additional processing fee that isn't communicated in the quote the owner sends over. 2. I was very annoyed that this house is listed as pet-friendly but after signing the rental agreement, they charged us a large pet fee for one dog. We stayed here ONE night, had a large cleaning fee, a large pet fee AND these were the pet details sent to me: You have permission to bring one pet on the premises. You are responsible for the following: "- please bring your own towels to wipe off your wet pet and clean muddy feet before entering the house. - pets must be kept off all furniture, without exception, including beds. - there are no pet food or water bowls at the house; please bring your own. - if you think your pet will be wet or dirty, and rub against the furniture, please bring coverings for the sofa, etc. - all pet droppings must be picked up and deposited in the garbage can. We do not provide poop bags." This is the most anti-pet pet-friendly listing I've ever seen. The house description should DEFINITELY include this information and the pet fee or stop allowing pets altogether. Note that VRBO doesn't let me post exact fee amounts in this review.

My Favorite Home Away from Home

This amazing beach cottage is my favorite place in the world. Such a great location, very clean and nice and right on the beach. Will be going back again and again.

Lacking attention to detail…

I rent vacation homes A LOT. What I find makes a great rental is a home that provides the creature comforts we all enjoy and doesn’t go cheap on the little things. This home falls short there. The toaster is cheap and won’t even hold two regular sized slices of bread. The can opener would not even open a can. There was no tinfoil, coffee grinder, pepper, or plastic wrap. No beach towels provided, and although this was mentioned in the listing, I find it to be less than ideal for a beach house. No rugs in the kitchen or any decor on the walls to make the space feel more welcoming. The lights in the kitchen were way too harsh with no way to provide soft lighting. The kitchen table is cheap and provides no cushions for seating. The windows are covered with cheap plastic blinds. There are no rugs to wipe your feet on by the front door or glass door. The windows and glass door need to be cleaned after every rental as this is an oceanfront home. On the positive side, the beds are extremely comfortable and the living room is nice. The outdoor fire pit and seating area is very nice as well. However, given the price point, I would not rent this home again, unless more were invested in these important details.

Lovely cottage with great ocean view

Comfortable beds, great fireplace. Good lamps for reading. Bring your slippers —the tile can be a little cold in the morning. It snowed during our stay but we were cozy inside. Will be back.

Great beach getaway

We enjoyed the cottage, the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen dining area was adequate for the 4 of us, we had a puzzle on one end of the kitchen table and dined on the other end. The family room was great, we could see the ocean from the couch which was really comfy to sit on too. Beach access is questionable, we just walked down the road a bit to gain access that we did not have to traverse over rocks to get down on the beach.

Charming beach retreat

The property was clean and well stocked. High quality dishes, bedding, linens. One mobility note - there is a significant step up to the living room/tv room. This could be an issue for someone with disabilities. We thought it was one level. My father has some mobility issues. We were able to make it work but it was a surprise and I was nervous the first night. Beds were exceptional. This would be an excellent choice for 2 active couples. Or 2 single adults traveling together. Bunk beds for kids but I could see this as quite enjoyable for active adults. Everything you need. Active folks could walk along beach to the little town. We went off season so not a lot open but we brought our own food to eat in. We didn’t use the fireplace but would be quite cozy. I would recommend this property.

Great house!

This was such a cute house for our family of five to stay in. It was so close to the beach and the deck had a beautiful view of the ocean. The house was clean and well equipped.

This is a remarkable home so simple yet so elegant and so beautiful right on the beach. A terrific location that's wakable to town great pubs and restaurants. We travel quite a bit and could not have been more happy with the entire experience of this home

Perfect getaway!

Took a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary. This house was perfect for our stay. Clean and well-appointed. Great location right on the beach and a nice walk or short drive to town. Would definitely stay here again!

Beach perfection

This house just north of Manzanita proper is picture perfect. The decor is simple and clean, with a good sense of design. The layout is great, with the kitchen/dining in the same room, overlooking the ocean. The yard is big, and thw fire pit is awesome. The property is so close to the beach that it feels like you are having a beach bonfire, but the older people in our group could join us because they didn’t have to navigate the sand. We had a great stay.

I'm Kim Bergstrom. My husband, Eric Bergstrom, and I have built on my father's dream of owning a beachfront house on the Oregon Coast. We now own three, and continue to grow! We purchased our family beach house from my father in 1996, and have thrived through sweat equity - most people think of us as rather crazy, but we've taken something we love to do and are making it our second chapter in life.

We enjoy taking properties with potential and great location, adding a facelift without removing the character, and introducing them to our expanding group of guests. Our latest endeavor is a turn of the century three story house which sleeps 20. We put a lot of thought and work into each house, and luckily have found guests who love the results. Like many of our guests we've come to know over the years, we hope you also come to think of this special house as your very own vacation home - without all the work!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This house is obviously special to us. I grew up spending summers searching through Manzanita tide pools, jumping waves, skinning my knees while learning to ride a bike, following my brothers and cousins into town to buy penny candy and comic books, hiking up Neahkahnie mountain, crowded around the Thanksgiving table with family and friends.

In 1984, Eric may have made the biggest mistake in his life when visiting the beach he asked me "What's there to do down here?" Two years later he had fixed up the house put in the lawn during the late spring rain and married me in the new grass next to the beach on a sunny August day.

When people ask me about the house my standard reply is it is charming and full of character. If you're looking for a new condo experience this isn't the right match. But if you're looking for a true coast experience, whether as a couple, a family, with a group a friends, or just yourself, this is definitely the place to relax and enjoy a truly wonderful get away.
