This is a 4 B/R 2 bath & sleeps 10. Large kitchen with dining & living room. On beautiful Toledo Bend Lake next to Pendleton Bridge which takes you to the Texas side. Great rental for a large family. This rental is an older home right on the lake in a great location. The sizeable living area includes a great sunken living room on one end & dining area on the other end allowing plenty of space for a large family or group. The day room & 1 upstairs B/R each open onto their own private balcony.



This home is located in a quite subdivision. Has enough parking for 2/3 cars and 2 boats.

Great place to stay with large groups

location was perfect, right in the middle of Toledo bend. Has water access with Warf, nice Back Porch, and garage.

Disappointed

The property was a big disappointment. When arriving we immediately noticed rotted exterior siding around all sides of the house. The entrance floor was littered with piles of dead bugs and multiple mud dobber nest on the walls. Upon entry we were hit with a strong and stale odor reminiscent of an abandoned property. The interior is very outdated. While outdated is fine, what’s not fine is outdated and in disrepair. Lack of basic maintenance is obvious. Kitchen cabinet doors not closing, loose door knobs, missing closet doors, light fixtures missing globes just to mention a few. Basic cleaning was obvious but detailed cleaning was not. Opening the filthy kitchen window curtain revealed a dirty window as were the windows throughout the house. Dirty baseboards and cabinet doors, debris piled high on the balcony porch, upswept front deck and several pieces of litter in the yard that had been there for quite a long time. Kitchen shelf and drawer linings were loose and unappealing, worn kitchen appliances, kitchen utensils mismatched and worn. Kitchen drawers and cabinets had no organization. Upstairs bathroom has not electrical outlet other than an adapter screwed into the light fixture above the mirror which is not designed to carry the load of a hair dryer. On the plus side, agents were prompt and helpful, house is roomy, furniture in the house was very comfortable, bedding and towels were quite adequate.

WEEKEND GET AWAY

CABIN WAS REALLY NICE. VERY CLEAN AND WAS EASY TO FIND. WE ENJOYED OUR WEEKEND AND WILL BE BACK AGAIN.THE ONLY ISSUE WE HAD WAS THE BED DOWN STAIRS FRAME FELT WEEK SO THEY SLEPT ON THE COUCH THE 2ND NIGHT WITH NO COMPLAINTS!!

Cleanliness much needed

The property was extremely dirty in areas. There was rat droppings in all the kitchen cabinets and drawers. We washed everything before hand due to this health hazard. We had to strip the beds before sleeping because of dirt and spiders. In the laundry room there was clothes left from someone in the machines and baskets. Shelves had molded sheets and dirty items all on them. BBQ pits are all rusted out, thank goodness we brought our own. The boat dock needs to be updated for safety reasons. There is a steep slope to walk down and there is no grip layings on board. This caused my mother in law a fall and a broken toe. The back porch has great views of the lake. I reached out to the owners and expressed my concerns only to have a reply that they would get with pest control and their cleaners. No offer of any partial refund or anything. Overall, I felt like i was never clean in this home, couldn't wait to return home and shower and clean all our belongings.

This is a fishing camp, so don't over expect luxury. But does have great porches.

Could be cleaner, needs to upgrade sheets. We spent most of our time on the porch. I recommend they get trash service, don't except the guest take trash to the dump!

A bunch of old guys

Place was perfect for us. Proximity to guide service, groceries and restaurants huge plus. The property managers could not have been nicer and more accommodating. We enjoyed the nice big deck.

Autumn visit

Everything went smoothly and the visit was immensely enjoyable. Due to the location, we try to rent this house every time we plan our visit to Toledo Bend. There’s a pier to dock the boat, it’s close to our preferred fishing spots, and the view is very pretty from the porch. We spend hours on the porch when we are not on the water.

Things to do

Need to fix outlets in the kitchen. Something to think about in the future ceiling fans installed outside on the porch and some of the cabinets in the kitchen dont shut properly. Air conditioner in one of the bedrooms not cooling daybed room.

Family fishing

The house was comfortable and clean. We appreciated the paper plates etc that were there. All of us had a great time. Early morning on the porch swing was beautiful

Convenient location to LTD Fishing Guides

Overall stay was good for 4 guys on fishing trip. As earlier reviews mentioned it could use some TLC. Outlets in kitchen still not working. View blocked by scrappy trees or shrubs. Upstairs bath tub very slow to drain and commode was cracked on top. Pots, pans, and cooking sheets in rough shape. But place was clean and very convenient to our fishing location. We enjoyed our stay.

Prefect Pkace for a family

Beautiful home, next to water and very clean Kids could swim on the dock with plenty of room for your boat. It has 4 big bedrooms and a huge back porch, perfect place to sit and drink morning coffee

Great camp

It was one of the nicest camps we have stayed at. It was very clean and very close to the bridge, nice neighborhood. Got to meet the owner and she was super sweet. We will definitely stay there again.
