Blue Beach Bungalow Exceeded Expectations

Great place. Would go back with my family of 5. Quiet neighborhood. No traffic @ the end of June. Private yard. Well-maintained, refreshing pool. Drying rack outside for all your towels and wet suits. Clean home with brand new appearance and feel. No clutter. Nicely decorated. Comfortable furniture inside and out. Kitchen was fully equipped (e.g. plates, pots, glasses, utensils, kitchen towels, coffee maker with coffee, sugar and filters). Washer and dryer with laundry detergent provided. Bedrooms were all roomy with comfortable beds. Linens seemed newer. Bathrooms were clean and roomy. AC worked nicely. Beach chairs & beach towels provided. You could walk to Manasota Key Beach but, honestly, it's easier to drive. There was always parking at any point in the day. Again, this is late June. Cannot speak to other times of the year. Venice is 15 minutes away if you want nice restaurants and shopping. Their beaches are nice also. Tons of shark teeth! Publix is 5-10 minutes away for food shopping & supplies. And if you want a picture-perfect beach (no seaweed, tons of shells, white sand) then Boca Grande is an easy 40 minutes away. Thanks for making our stay so enjoyable. Appreciate your attention to detail.

Very Nice House

We were in need of a vacation after this year. We specifically picked a house with a pool in this area because we didn’t want to compete for pool space. And this area is close to some beautiful beaches. Overall our stay was wonderful. The manager was easy to get a hold of to answer some questions. The house has plenty of space and was very well stocked with anything you may need - lots of pool and beach items. It was perfect. Thank you for sharing your home with us! Would definitely return in the future.

Little to no communication with property manager.

Arrived at 5:20pm Saturday and check in time was 4pm. The ladies were still in the home cleaning from previous renters stay. Thankfully for us they were there to let us in because we never received the code or instructions on how to access the house. The lady cleaning was very kind and offered to contact the manger and ask for the code to the lockbox. When she called, the property manager told her she sent me an email with the information. I only received one email and it said “your host hasn’t provided arrival information yet. For the most up to date information contact the property manager directly.” I sent a message through VRBO and no response. During our stay we were leaving one morning and saw that someone ran off the road, hit the mailbox and came within a few feet of hitting our truck. The neighbor said he found the mailbox down the street and brought it back to the yard. I sent the property manager a message so she was aware of what happened but never heard anything. She contacted us one time to tell us to make sure the doors were unlocked for the pool man to come in. The house was very nice and well equipped with everything you would need. The pool area was as described and the location was perfect for short trips to surrounding beaches. The neighbor we spoke was extremely helpful and kind. He said he would install a new mailbox for the owners. We have booked to stay at a different location next year as our overall experience and lack of communication was not worth repeating again.

Family get-a-way

The house and location were perfect if your looking for a quiet get a way. Everything was clean and nice, plenty of room. My boys loved the pool and the yard. Perfect quiet neighborhood for walks and island was nice for bike rides. Will definitely revisit.

House a little warm

House you was nice. Only issue was temp to keep AC on, 78 degrees, not very comfortable for someone going through menopause. Back bedroom very warm. Plenty of sleeping area.

Perfect house for families!

This house is wonderful! It has a great layout and is clean and well kept. Lots of kitchen supplies, towels, beach accessories and sleeping arrangements. Laundry, trash and recycling were all very convenient in the garage. We really enjoyed the pool and patio area that has lots of seating, rafts and pool toys. We also enjoyed watching the bunnies and the tortoise nibble on the surrounding greenery :) You can tell the owners take good care of this property. We’ve stayed in various rentals in the area over the years and this is probably our favorite. It’s super close to the beach which is a huge plus. We’d definitely stay here again! My only suggestion would be to add a FL snow shovel to the beach accessories for shark tooth hunting. The weather was quite gloomy during our visit so we didn’t get to enjoy the beach that much or else we would’ve bought one and left it there. Overall, we highly recommend this place!

Rockin’ Easter Celebration week!

Second time we rented here! The kitchen was equipped with everything I needed for seating/feeding 9 adults on Easter Sunday! My adult children loved it too! Locale perfect for morning/evening walks with our dog and close to boat ramp & beaches!

The property manager is very informative, quick to respond. Also the home is well equipped.

We had a great experience. The property is in a great location, wonderful neighborhood. Pool is an awesome asset. Home has many amenities needed while on vacation, such as beach chairs, umbrellas, lots of towels. Also has a very well stocked kitchen.

Perfectly homey and beach ready!

Great home. Comfortable. Nothing fancy. :) Fully equipped kitchen. Plenty of beach chairs, gear, and even a beach wagon! We have stayed at many VRBOs over the years, this property definitely ranks in top 5 for family friendly homes. LOTS of sleeping room and accommodations for families. We hope to return very soon with our 4 adult children! Kitchen ready for meal prep, plenty of dishes!

House near the Beach!

Clean, quiet neighborhood, fully stocked, and perfectly located house. Rooms are larger than they appear in photos. Just 1/2 mile from Manasota beach, we preferred to drive to Blind Pass beach (2 miles) for less crowded, easier sand for long morning walks, and free parking. Stump Pass is just a few miles (7) more south and a beautiful huge beach for $3 a day. All have very clean restrooms. Shopping and excellent restaurants all within 10 to 20 minute drive (Sharkey’s In Venice, Sandbar Tiki and Grill, Bonefish Grille in Englewood). Don’t miss the Farmer’s market in Englewood on Thursdays and Detwiler’s Amish Farm Market has a seafood counter and bakery that are the amazing! We enjoyed Myakka River State Park (Boat ride) and lovely walk through Lemon Bay Park. Property manager responds quickly and is very nice! Hope to return!

Great spot near the beach

We enjoyed a week here. The pool is great. The location near the beach was perfect for our family. We enjoyed having a grill. Grocery and shops were a quick drive. Property manager was responsive and helpful. Thanks!

Enjoyable time

Very nice house. Everything was as describe. Good location. It was very hot while we were here, so we really didn't use the pool, the water was around 98 degrees, but the pool and the area around it was very nice and relaxing. You can easily walk to the beach and we went early almost every morning and again for the sunsets every evening. Very quiet and relaxing location. This was our 3rd time vacationing on Manasota Key, and this has been our favorite. We hope to come back again.

Charming and well furnished

Our family enjoyed this beautiful, clean, comfortable and charming home. We were in Venice for the funeral of our 92 year old mother and the location was conveniently only 2 miles from her home where other relatives were staying, and walking distance to the beach we always loved to visit. We hope to stay again if we are able to come back to Venice in the future.
