Lemon 1 - 2535 Lemon Ave

Entering this luxury home you will first see the formal living room with cream-colored sofas and the most gorgeous view through the sliding glass doors of the pool area. You will also see the formal dining room with light wood and a glass-top table.

To the left is the master suite with a king-size bed light wood furniture, a seating area, and a private entrance to the pool area. This room features an en-suite bathroom with walk in shower, a large tub with a jacuzzi and double vanity and there is a large walk in closet. Desk with high-speed internet access and bedroom TV. The casual family room has comfortable sofas with rattan furniture, a large TV, a VCR, and a music system. The kitchen overlooks the family room and is very spacious with all the modern conveniences. There is a casual breakfast area with a table and chairs overlooking the pool area.

The three guest bedrooms are on the other side of the house. There is a smaller master suite with an en-suite shower room and king bed and a private entrance to the pool area. The other two bedrooms have queen beds and share a full bathroom with a shower and tub. The pool is free-flowing and has a pretty fountain. There is lots of seating for sunning and also a table and chairs for outdoor dining. And the BBQ grill is provided as well. The owner has just added an outdoor wet bar with a couple of bar stools.

This home has a 2 car garage and a laundry room with washer and dryer. The home is close to shopping and restaurants and is within walking distance of the beach. A beautiful vacation home that has it all.

Needs some TLC

The location is great for sure (0.5 miles from beach). Unfortunately we didn’t care so much about that. We had unique perspective about being close to my sister. The house and the furnishings are very worn and have the expected stains of much time and use. On the positive side again the management company is great; very responsive.

Great for families

The house is a few minutes drive or walk from the beach. Great for a beach day or evening sunset. Kids were in the pool every evening after the beach. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook. There was plenty of room for us all and we are already talking about coming back next year.

Relaxing Stay off the Beaten Path!

Our family loved our week in this relaxing stay off of the beaten path! If there were a "rural" coastal Florida - this felt like we were the only people around, even though we were in a neighborhood! Nestled in a beautiful jungle of palms, our kids really enjoyed the pool, playing UNO outside during afternoon rainstorms, and packing up to go for a quick ride to the beach. We went down to Blind Pass for a sunset one evening and caught one of our Creator's most amazing paintings of the sky. It was jaw-dropping phenomenal. The beach supplies (buckets, shovels, shark teeth shovels, and chairs were a major help - I wish they would have been listed on the property listing!) We enjoyed shelling at Venice and Manasota Key - went to Casperson one evening but the red tide was in, and it was awful. Luckily, the fish was fresh and the drinks were cold at Sharkeys on the Pier that evening :) Overall great place to stay!

Nice space

We had two families of four stay in the home. It was very clean inside! Super easy drive to Manasota Beach. No issues with directions to home or getting in. Property manager was Very helpful and responsive.

Loved it!

Everything was great! It’s very spacious and was clean. I took my family of 8 and everyone had their own area. The outside pool area was awesome. Having a large fan over the outside table was amazing especially in the hot summer nights. The only 2 cons I have is the bed were a little hard and the street is gravel with a lot is holes(not remotely the owners fault) but keeping your car clean won’t happen.

Awesome place for my family

Great place, yes it’s a bit dated but it was perfect setup for our family and extremely well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen and even beach accessories. We were able to communicate with the property manager with ease and she was always quick to respond and very helpful and friendly. Definitely would stay here again if we return to the same are!

Overall the house is spacious and comfortable.

We mostly enjoyed our stay here. After a couple of days of rain the pool turned green and we didn't get in. No one came and cleaned it while we were there. Also we could not find any silverware because it was in the dishwasher dirty. When we finally realized it we had already bought plastic silverware to use. It does say a walk to the beach and you can walk it, but it is not a short walk. Do not rent this house expecting to walk to the beach with your family and toys in tow.... but it's only about a 4 minute drive. Beds were ok. Nothing spectacular. Over all the house was decent for it's the price.

Property needs TLC but has great potential.

Property managers were awesome responded to concerns quickly. Property needs some TLC. This could be a 5 star property with a little attention to simple cosmetics needs of the property, cleanliness being the first.

A Great Family Stay

We were 2 grandparents, a mom and a 12 and 14 year old. The house accommodated us all in a lovely way-- it is light, comfortable and spacious enough for each person to find their own nook-- and the pool is wonderful-- large enough for Marco Polo-- and the kids were in it for hours. The house is only a half-mile from the Manasota Beach-- an easy walk or quick drive-- and we found plenty of shark's teeth there! We were within 15 to 20 minutes of either Venice or Englewood, both of whom had farmer's markets, shopping and restaurants. And we took a day trips up to Siesta Key and St Armand's Circle. All told, this was a great, quiet, well-appointed place for our family to stay and we recommend it highly.

Awesome Vacay

What a place! The pool was wonderful...clean and cool. The home was huge...plenty of room and then some. I loved the area...literally 2 minutes to the beach! We found cool shells and some shark teeth. There were several great places to eat. We love to BBQ and did so 4 nights. I would suggest a new grill though. It smoked alot and the heating coils are almost disintegrated-had to really make sure food was cooked. Other than that...awesome, awesome trip. Thank you so much for sharing your home!! 😊 The Days.

Enjoyed our Stay in this private oasis.

The amenities, pool, and private, convenient location made our week there fly by. Everything you need was there and with the heated pool, it was an enjoyable stay. The property itself has some miles on it, with some stained carpet but having lived in this area before it is real common and I would not let it stop me from renting there again.

Loved it

Our stay in the home was wonderful. We had a great time and was close to so many wonderful beaches ! Well equipped and a fabulous pool. As soon as you come through the door you could smell how clean it was ..... the biggest disappointment was the mattress. It definitely needs to be replaced as it is broken down. We purchased a memory topper to put on it for our stay .

Spring break get away

Just want to say that Lesley was wonderful to work with in renting her beautiful home. It was spacious and bright with plenty of everything for our week stay. Plenty of towels to use for showering and the wonderful heated pool. The kitchen had plenty of dishes along with the coffee maker, blender and toaster which were so useful. Very quiet neighborhood and within walking distance to the beach made it perfect for the young adults in the group to go down to the beach to hang out. Lots of little things you wouldn't expect to find while renting made it extra special like some bikes and sand toys, beach umbrellas to name a few. We enjoyed our stay so much we wish we could have stayed longer. Maybe next year if we have a big group like this year we will be able to rent again. Lesley has ten stars from me. Highly recommend her home for your next stay.
