Ive been using the VRBO site for many years and rarely have I given a negative review. Unfortunately this property was not well maintained. It obviously wasnt inspected prior to our checking in.We checked in after 10:00 PM due to a delayed flight. Exhausted and ready to go to bed, we immediately ran into issues that required us to contact VRBO support.*sofa bed - no sheets, pillows, or blanket, mattress - visibly stained*no bath towels in the first bathroom*closet - 1 hanger for 2 women staying for 17 days*kitchen - not properly equipped for cooking (1pot/1 pan - dirty with nonstick coating peeling)*dish drying rack - severely rusted*shower drain cap - coming loose*clothes dryer - not working*Most concerning - Roaches I had to reach out to VRBO/Host on Jan 29, Jan 30, Feb 1, Feb 4, Feb 6, Feb 7 and Feb 9 before all of the issues were addresses. All correspondences were documented and I included photos. This is not how we intended to spend our vacation. Several of the days we stayed with family in the area as to not have to deal with the issues. I gave the listing 2 stars only because the building was located in a walkable area with stores and restaurants nearby. That was convenient. The property itself was far from great. I would not recommend and definitely wouldn't stay here again! The host has some work to do to get it up to the standards of many other properties in the area. Hopefully they will do better in the future.
