Thanks for staying with us Emory, it was wonderful to have you there patiently as I replaced my stove which unexpectedly blew, the unexpected visitor issue is already raised with company which takes care of it, the basement breaker had tripped and now it is back. Small Wasp nest under the deck has been removed thanks for bringing to my attention

There was a drawer which my cleaner missed cleaning and even though I immediately sent my cleaner to take care of it guest was uncooperative, seems guest has no idea on how cabins in mountain with outdoor fireplace looks like, ashes at the fire pit is common, I do have a wooden pallet wood rack near to it and it’s not just random wood, I still politely worked with guest and VRBO to provide full refund.

Brad, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m glad to hear you enjoyed the views and found the cabin accurately represented by the photos. I do want to address a few of the points you mentioned so future guests have the best experience possible. The hot tub water was fully drained, cleaned, and refilled right before your arrival. We use a standard shock treatment during each turnover, which can make the water appear cloudy for the first 24 hours while the jets are running. The AC reaching 70° while temperatures were in the 90s is within normal operating range for mountain cabins, but I will still look into improving cooling capacity for late‑summer stays. Being in the woods, occasional spiders outdoors are unfortunately unavoidable, though we do our best to keep the exterior areas clear. As for the indoor dusting concerns, no previous guests have reported issues with the vents or chandelier, but I appreciate you pointing it out and will make sure our cleaning team gives those areas extra attention. The porch and pool table will also be reviewed for deeper cleaning and maintenance.
