Pete's Place Kirkwood Meadow View Cabin - Flying Wedge North

Known in the valley as "The Flying Wedge" for it's original three story A frame roof line, our cozy cabin now has modern updates, and a North and South Unit, each with over 2,000 square feet. The North Unit open floor plan is built for comfort with views of the meadow and Red Cliffs, and plenty of spaces to relax and enjoy family time. In the summer, the expansive deck out front is perfect for morning coffee while watching the sun come up and highlight Red Cliffs and the meadow. Or spend the afternoon out there reading a good book! BBQ is available for use if you enjoy cooking outside. With two large lakes (Caples, Silver), and plenty of nearby creeks, hiking and fishing opportunities are moments away! In the winter, we are secluded from resort traffic, the resort bus picks up at our front door and drops off at the slopes! Year round you can spend the day enjoying the outdoors and come home to a cozy relaxing evening at what we now call "Pete's Place".

The main floor includes a bedroom (Double) a full bath (shower only), a large game area with a mini pool table, a comfortable living room with wood burning fire place, dining room with a hand made dining table that seats eight, and large fully stocked kitchen (appliances and cooking supplies). The second floor has a master bedroom (Queen) with ensuite bathroom (shower only), the third bedroom (King), and a full bath (tub/shower). There is also a desk area for remote work with a view! The third story is an open loft with comfortable twin beds and a sink.

We are happy to share our home with you. Please read through the house rules below and send a message that you understand that this is a duplex, we have long term renters with children next door. This is NOT a place for a party or late night noise. We have unfortunately had disrespectful renters in the past and want to be as transparent as possible. We are excited to share our place and love for the Kirkwood valley, but want to make sure that renters treat our home as if it was theirs. Feel free to ask me any questions!
