The bedroom has a king bed with luxury linens. The cozy family room has a sleeper sofa. The Boathouse can sleep 4 comfortably. The kitchen has all the favorite amenities. The dining room overlooks the lake. The covered porch is a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a sunset. Park your boat at the big dock or take the paddleboat or kayaks out and explore the lake. There is also a boat ramp, and room to park your boat trailer. If you dont have a boat and want to explore Lake Martin, please reachout to Lake Life Living & Rentals about renting a boat or jetski and having it delivered right to the dock.
The Boathouse is a perfect couples getaway, fishermans retreat or small families destination. Guests love staying at this cute little house on the lake.

The Boathouse is the guest house to a bigger home. Guest have access to the yard, dock, paddleboat and boat ramp. The owner is never home, and will never bother you.

We had an amazing and relaxing stay at the boathouse. The host was incredibly communicative and friendly. The boathouse was nice and clean and has everything you need. The lake view is relaxing and beautiful. You can sit outside and listen to the wake waves, it’s very quiet and peaceful. We will definitely be back.

A good relaxing weekend with my husband. So quiet. If you have AT&T, there’s spotty service but the internet works fine and we didn’t want anyone calling anyway :)

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We also enjoyed the pictures view from the outdoor porch of the Lake. The property and cabin were clean and nicely decorated. The boat ramp and dock were a big plus for us. We will definitely make this our go to when visiting Lake Martin in the future. What a great place to relax and check out from the daily grind. Thank you.

This property is perfect for a couple or small family! Extremely clean and awesome location! The owner is so nice and friendly! This is the first time we ever stayed in a property with the owners home on site. It is perfect! Large dock to sun bathe on and swim right out in front! Highly recommend.

Adorable property, with plenty of dock space and water frontage. We were worried about weather so we didn’t rent a boat, but there is ample space for one. If you get to meet the owner, what a treat!

Great Stay

Had a great time staying here. House is tucked back in a cove and was nice and quiet and away from major boat traffic. Close to restaurants and stores. Also had the chance to meet the homeowners, they are very friendly and accommodating making sure our stay was great

Great Weekend getaway

I recently stayed at this wonderful lakefront home with my son, and it was absolutely perfect. Communication with the host was seamless—clear, friendly, and responsive from start to finish. The location couldn’t have been better—peaceful, beautiful views, and right on the water. The place was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We made some great memories here and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Long weekend

Nice, clean quiet & peaceful. Close to restaurants, boats. Only minor observation was bathroom sink slow to drain.

Weekend away with our Auburn student

We had a beautiful weekend on the lake with our son. It’s a small cottage with beautiful front porch. Owner lives next door and allows you to use dock and paddle boats. Grill came in handy. No dishwasher but for three people not a big deal to wash dishes. Bring your own lake towels. Plenty of space to park two vehicles. Highly recommend!

This is a perfect lake house for a couple or a small family. There was plenty of room for me, my wife, and 2 kids. We met the owners and they were very friendly and accommodating! We all enjoyed swimming around the dock and caught some bream and catfish from the dock. We took the provided kayaks out and caught some bass too! We loved everything about it and will definitely be back again.

We take it one step further and offer boat rentals, fishing trips, boat tours to our guests. We want you to not only love the house you stay in, but love the experience you have as a family on Lake Martin! We look forward to hosting you!
