Direct waterfront cottage on private sandy beach

YOU ARE ON THE BEACH! Step off the porch right onto pristine white sand. This hidden gem is on a dead end street and has everything you need for a relaxing summer get-a-way. There are 2 bedroom and a loft. Open floor plan and covered porch. Beach chairs, umbrella and kayaks. Sleeps 4 to 6 (grown children would be appropriate for the loft space). Tweed Airport is just minutes away, take the train into Union station, New Haven less than 15 minutes away. We beleive dining outdoors is the porch but if you want to venture out there is an abundance of things to do and see on the CT Shoreline and great night life downtown New Haven.

Fantastic stay. Super quiet and great access to the beach. Close to the airport was very convenient and the air traffic was almost non-existent. Airplane noise was not a factor at all. Walk out the back door and your feet are in the sand. Private beach was so relaxing. Would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

A perfect beach vacation! We stayed early September and the beach was pretty much empty and so peaceful. The cottage was cute and clean with all the amenities to cook if you prefer to stay in. Amazing skies in the evening. You won’t be disappointed with this gem!

The location is great, right on the beach! The house was cozy and had almost everything we needed. We had some trouble with the grill but Lori was quick to respond and everything was fixed. We will definitely be returning. Thank you so much for accommodating our big family!

Lori was fantastic and clearly/accurately described property and access. The cottage was perfect for our family of 5! Neighbors were super friendly and the beach was quiet and clean. Perfect for a relaxing getaway!

10/10The house was just as advertised! It is a cute beach house perfect for a romantic getaway or just need a place to chill. Lori is the hostess with the mostess! She provides you with all that you need for your home away from home stay. From the simplest items like toilet paper to dishes, pots, glasses, silverware, etc. You name it it is there!! It was very extremely clean, spacious and right next to the beach. Everything was just perfect!! Our dogs who have never seen or even been to a beach love it! The whole trip was just what we needed and we can't wait to go back again.

This property is just as advertised. The beach is exactly what we were looking for; quiet and clean and not touristy. The cottage may sound small but the layout actually accommodated our family of 5 comfortably. The fishing is great right in front of the house and if you like to eat blue crabs, the creek that runs through the marsh on the way in is a great spot to catch a crab dinner. My teen-age girls that don’t like to fish could have crabbed every day if we could have. Grocery stores and excellent restaurants are a short drive away and Hammonasett Beach is a beautiful spot for a beach day. If you are considering this for a vacation I would say not to hesitate and rent it.

Fantastic!

This place was EXACTLY as advertised!! Easy to find, with clear entry instructions. IMMACULATELY cleaned and stocked with easy to find instructions. The beach is right at your doorstep! The house is a brilliant use of space, small, but not cramped. Linens were fresh and clean and plentiful! This was a gem of a place!!

This beach cottage is right on a private beach! It is truly a hidden gem! The cottage is so cute and it has everything you need including linens, beach and bath towels, gas grill, kayaks, beach chairs and loungers. Great porch to sit and read or have your morning coffee. The beach has soft sand, beautiful shells, some rocks and we even found some sea glass. Close to dining, shops and an airport. Host was super nice and answered any questions we had. Neighbors are friendly. We really enjoyed our stay there and we look forward to staying there again.

Loved being directly on the Beach

Two steps down to the sand. Air traffic has increased since the last time we rented, but they space it out. Most of the day is quiet. Accommodations were wonderful. I hope to own something like this someday!

We totally enjoyed this location. It was 4 adults and 2 dogs. The cottage was perfect size. Location was everything!!! Steps from a private beach. Easy assess to major highway but far enough away that you forever there is life beyond the community. We knew they were close to an airport, so knee to expect planes going over. The first plane was the best, you hear the rumble and look up and its right there! Was an awesome feeling. After that only a few planes during the day. Not a problem unless loud noises are an issue.We had 2 dogs with us, everyone was very welcoming.The cottage was cozy. Enough space for us. Clean and had everything needed to enjoy our time there.We went in September, weather was perfect, high 70s to low 80s. The water was clean, calm and a great temperature. We were in the water for hours. It was our first trip to the CT beach. We loved it. We've stayed water front in MA, DE and NC. There is nothing like being steps from the beach watching the sunrise/sunset. This cottage did not disappoint. We are talking about our next year repeat stay.

A chance to own a waterfront property on a beautiful beach was irrestible.
The cottage is small but super cute, offers a spectacular waterfront setting on a private beach. The neighbors are great, Silver Sands beachclub is next door and gives options for dining and entertainment within steps. This bungalow is the last house on a dead end street so there is no driveby traffic and simplicity of travel with Tweed airport close by and Union train station in New Haven makes it easy access from whereever you call home.
