Great location!

We were visiting NYC and found this a super convenient place go stay with easy access to transit - a short walk to the HBLR. Lots of little coffee shops and cafes a block away! Owner is super responsive to anything you need.

Great Unit & Very Supportive Host

Apartment was very clean, beautifully decorated!!! Laurie is awesome host, made us comfortable and supported our request with untmost kindless! I would definetley recomment this place!

Comfortable

The check-in process was very quick and easy, and I was able to settle myself in less than an hour. The place is full of beautiful antique furniture, and there are several amenities for you ready to be used. The host was very communicative and responsive and I really appreciate that. My only complaints would be that the place is cold and the heater wouldn't turn on.

Was very disappointed with this place.two of my friends arrived at the place at 10:30 in the morning , just to drop of their bags and found the place in a mess, there was no furniture to sit on . I called the land lord and she said it was cleaned 2 days ago, I told her

Only 2 useable rooms.

There was no living furniture or ac in the main space making the only useable rooms for a week the bedrooms. Only going into the kitchen or bathroom if needed. It would have been nice to have s place to sit and relax that wasn't a bed or kitchen chair. Especially with a newborn. The bathroom smelled like mildew and the internet was very slow. The property manager was very nice and always responded. Even when the dishwasher broke. She came to fix it immediately. The quality of life amenities could have been better.

Not Satisfied

My family and I were not satisfied and would not recommend this place. The owner of this property entered the unit without permission while we were out. She stated it had rained power was out and needed to enter, yet did not let us know until we asked because she removed things from the unit. The next day she entered again and put paper towels on the counter when we didn’t ask for them. The refrigerator and cabinets were full of foods as if she stayed there. The floors were dirty and sticky.

I had asked if I could check in early or at least drop off my luggage so I could enjoy my day. I was told I could and we made arrangements for this. Yet, when I got there it was locked and no one was around. She did not respond to any of my texts, until after the original check in time. Her daughter arrived 30 min. later. I would have been much more helpful to have just said, no early check in. Instead it ruined my whole day. Cleanliness was par. The most glaring was the 5 black, larger than a sesame seed, things in the microwave. A sock on the front step. I would not sleep in that second bedroom, I took a look at the mattress, and it looked old and was only covered with a flimsy sheet. The other bedroom was better. No coffee machine, I don't count a little expresso machine, a coffee maker. I will stop here. The neighborhood, I think is safe, but it definitely has some unkept properties, but really I think it is a fine working class neighborhood. I would come back at night when it was dark by myself,and was vigilant, but I felt relatively safe. I am a female by myself. I wish I could give a better review, but it didn't start well, and I was not terribly impressed.

The location of the house is close to the light rail, buses, Liberty State Park and only 18 from de Holland Tunnel with normal traffic, the apartment is in the first floor, very spacious where you can enjoy and relax your stay.
