Dana was a wonderful host, very knowledgeable about the area with great recommendations for food, coffee, and nearby hikes. He was very flexible and understanding of our schedule and so sweet and attentive. We would gladly stay there again in the future! His sunroom had everything we needed for our stay and it was walking distance to shopping, restaurants, bars and cute cafes. And the view from the room was amazing every morning and evening!

Host was wonderful! He greeted us and gave us a thorough summary of the place and the neighborhood! Location is great! We did not have a car, but parking seems reasonable. Views are beautiful… But he warned that there are some narrow steps that can make large bags a bit of a pain to get up and down. We packed light and did not have any issues, but the stairs are certainly worth the accommodations and the view!

I stayed at this very well kept property while visiting my sister before & after her surgery. Noe Valley is mostly an upscale residential area yet it's just a few blocks walk to 24th St (where you can find restaurants/cafes) & to scenic Dolores Park. It has large windows on 3 sides offering spectacular views of SF. As for the host, Dana, I can't say enough good things about how he welcomed me & was very responsive to meeting several needs I had which came up unexpectedly in connection with the reason for my stay. The only "drawbacks" to this property are that there is no bathroom sink (so you have to use the kitchen sink for washing your hands, shaving, etc.); occasionally the local fire company house located about a block away has a night call & so lets loose with their sirens as they speed away hopefully to save the day (but otherwise as a whole I found the place remarkably quiet, perhaps in part because of how high it is above street level); &, of course, the 43 steps you must take up a spiral staircase to reach it (but that's also a positive in providing some exercise & because it's what allows you to have such wonderful views up top). I found the bed large & quite comfortable; it's plenty big enough for 2. That said, 2 people might find the room itself, although large, to be a bit tight for just hanging out all day (but who would go to SF just to hang out in a room?). For sure, I hope the next time I visit SF that Dana's rooftop sunroom is free. Great place! Great host!

The rooftop sunroom is a real gem. We enjoyed the view every minute we were staying there. Access to public transportation was very convenient and we found parking close by when we had a rental car. The neighborhood is delightful.

The place was stunning -- waking up to the view of the city each morning, whether it be sunny or foggy, was an experience I never forget. Dana is lovely, gave me great tips and even helped with my bags on the steep back staircase. I loved my time here, and would come back anytime.

Amazing sunroom!

This apartment is better than described and the pictures don’t do the views justice! The views from this perch are expansive. The apartment is very well organized and this maximizes the space. And the kitchen is well equipped. Dana is a fantastic host, quick to respond and helpful in his orienting you to the city.

Perfect!

I stayed here for the month of January. It was a safe, sunlit, and perfect haven from winter darkness. The host was incredibly helpful, kind and available. He has a map and binder with lots of helpful information about the area, dining and the facilities. From the room, you can see Bernal Heights and Twin Peaks, which were so convenient to hike. The location is perfect, down 1 block from the MUNI J line, from which I could get everywhere I wanted. Noe Valley is so safe, and has so many great places to eat, shop, hang out, and I even took a yoga class a few blocks away. I highly recommend this beautiful place to all, and I thank Dana so much for sharing his cozy getaway with me! darkness.

Our own little slice of beauty in SF!

The short version is, if you're debating, do it. This place is amazing. The view is like nothing else, the room is cozy and has everything you need, and the location is perfect. Seriously. Dana is an amazing host, it felt like we were staying with family more than just a host. He gaves us tips and even helped us carry bags to and from! We couldn't have asked for a better place.The stairs can be a bit intense if you're not prepared, but we had no problem with them. (Besides just us being a little out of shape. )The Muni stop is just a block away and you've also got an amazing brunch spot right on the corner. We would love to stay here again, anytime. Thanks Dana!

Dreamy Sunroom Oasis.

It was such a pleasure meeting Dana and staying in the lovely sunroom. The place is just as described in the listing. What an amazing view! I loved watching the sunrise from the comfortable bed. Dana is super accommodating and a great communicator. The place is in a great location. We were provided with two sets of keys which was super helpful. We will definitely look to stay here again on our next visit.

Nice host, nice location

Dana is a very thoughtful host and an excellent communicator. The apartment is in a quieter part of town with plenty of restaurants and easy access to transit. We’ll stay here again next time we’re in town!

Another Amazing Summer in Noe!!!

This is my second stay, and, once again, I loved it!! I stayed here for ~10 weeks for an internship, and this apartment is in the perfect spot to explore the city and easily commute to work using public transit. If I wasn't graduating next year, I know I'd be back to stay again next summer : )

Relax in San Francisco with a Private View

Perfect location for a single or couple. Private, comfortable, and a fantastic view of San Francisco from a rooftop apt in the Noe Valley District. Easy access to the downtown and North Sides of the city. And wonderful friendly hosts that attend to all needs. I stayed three weeks and loved it.

Wonderful stay

We thoroughly enjoyed our week here The view is spectacular, both during the day, and at night, when you get to see all the lights of the city below you. Dana was exceptional helpful, giving us numerous tips about the neighborhood, and public transportation. The studio space is very clean and well-equipped. We really enjoyed Noe Valley, which is a thriving and charming neighborhood. We would definitely stay here again!

Les points positifs : La vue De nombreuses vitres Four de cuisine Calme le quartier est agréable Accueil du propriétaire (mais manque de communications par la suite) Pas très loin d'un tram Les points à améliorer : Le studio vraiment petit pour rester plus de 3/4 jours. Environ 17m2 Pas de lavabo dans la salle de bain, c'est une douche et un WC dans la même pièce. L'isolation des vitres n'est pas bonne, le froid rentre facilement pendant la nuit, et on sent avec la main et dans le cou les courants d'air près des fenêtres, et comme il y a de grandes fenêtres sur chaque mur le lit est forcément contre une baie vitrée. Le chauffage ventilé fonctionne bien mais très bruyant, pas possible de dormir avec. Donc la température baisse fortement la nuit en hiver. L'immeuble est en colocation, La machine à laver est dans un garage commun qui n'est pas en accès libre. Il faut contacter le propriétaire pour faire des lessives et la fois ou nous l'avons fait il n'y a pas eu de réponses. Par contre au moment de partir très disponible et réactif pour vouloir être présent... Dommage Pas de plaque de cuisson intégrer donc il faut poser la plaque mobile quelque part lorsque l'on veut l'utiliser, et comme l'espace n'est pas grand (environ 17 m2) c'est souvent pris par d'autre choses. Quelques portes serviettes et crochets pas très bien fixés dans la salle de bain. Donc bilan un peu cher pour ce constat.

Perfect; beautiful place to stay.

I could not ask for anything better. Dana, the host, was kind, attentive, and polite. He only responded to my questions; I was left in peace. It is a very safe neighborhood for a single woman (as well as all people). Delicious views. So much sunshine and light! I read reviews before booking that mentioned needing an eye mask, but I actually liked the sun and then, at night, the sparkling lights of the surrounding neighborhoods. I could watch planes take off from SFO, and I could see the water and ships in the Bay, as well as the fog rolling over Twin Peaks. It was mesmerizing.

Great Location, Noe Valley San Fransisco

From when we landed and contacted Dana, the stay itself, and leaving this was a fantastic place. Upon arrival Dana carried our bags up the stairs, and wouldn't take no for an answer, the room had everything we needed, the view was as pictured. Dolores Heights in the Noe valley was the best choice we could of made.Would gladly go back there and give it and Dana the highest recommendation we can, our 11 night stay was fantastic, thankyou, from us in New Zealand. AAA+++

San Francisco is a city of neighborhoods and Noe Valley is one of the nicest. It is in a part of The City that the sun shines brightly when much of the rest of San Francisco is in the Fog. It is a neighborhood where you walk! Walk to the shops and stores on 24th St., or find wonderful restaurants just blocks away on Church St. Walk to a cheese store, meat market, or take in the Saturday morning Farmers' Market. Walk in any direction and you will find a coffee shop where you can sit and relax enjoying your tea or coffee.
