Tenemos una nueva casa de playa que fue construida el invierno 2012. Esta nueva casa de playa tiene todo. PRIVADO tina jacuzzi para que nuestros clientes disfruten. ¡También viene con el uso de un CARRO DE GOLF GRATUITO que puedes usar para ir a la playa, piscinas, parque acuático y otras áreas del complejo!
Esta casa de playa tiene una gran cubierta cubierta y muebles de cubierta. Está decorado profesionalmente y es verdaderamente hermoso por dentro. Encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable adornan la cocina totalmente equipada. Una hermosa escalera de hierro forjado te lleva al segundo piso. Es verdaderamente una de las casas de playa más hermosas de Ocean Lakes. Es superior en todos los sentidos.

Week with 4 teenagers

The property was just as described, the manager was available right away if needed. Only suggestion, would be a new grill. The kids had a blast and so did we. Garage had extra beach stuff if needed, the golf cart was a huge bonus.

Property NEEDS MULTIPLE REPAIRS

The house has many issues that were mentioned in previous reviews had still not been repaired, mostly with the kitchen cabinets, between broken drawer stop, under the sink hinges broken , the shower had the poor in pinch kinda repaired at the top of the shower unit, also bathroom sink looks beautiful but it wasn’t secured properly and move slightly, the grill was charcoal and well worn and had not been cleaned, we ended up going to my sisters RV Campsite and cooking out with her , the golf cart didn’t hold a charge, we ended up renting one But we still had pretty good time at the Beach ! However we would not rent this property again, it a bit overpriced as well, we don’t mind paying more if the property would have been maintained

Not as clean as expected

The house was nice with good sized rooms. The living room area could use more seating, only seats four. First time ever having to buy a linen package for towels, wash rags, and sheets for the bed. Another first was having to make up beds when we arrived. Whom ever they are using for maid service, which the renter has to pay for, is not doing much if anything. The floors were filthy. They had not been swept nor mopped. Shower curtain in master had mold on it. This unit has two full bathrooms. If both showers are in use at the same time, you will run out of hot water.

Great vacation

We had a great in spite of hurricane Ian. Good location, house was clean, renter responded promptly when I needed information, and was a great time of year for vacation. The only thing that I can say needs update is the grill.

Awesome beach stay!

We stayed here for our week vacation and we couldn’t have asked for a better stay! We enjoyed using the hot tub and it was also awesome that there were beach toys for our nephew to use since we forgot ours. The golf cart is what really sold us for the house and was awesome to be able to have and use! The property owner responded to us in a timely manner when we needed her. We’ve already decided to stay here again next year!

My family really enjoyed our stay. We read previous reviews that said to bring your own Roku, we did that and it worked perfectly for us. We loved the fact that the golf cart was included. We will be back and plan to stay here again.

Nice place

With the cost to stay owner should supply paper towels and toilet papers. Also have a regular coffee pot. We never used the hot tub. To hot! Maybe in the off months when cooler. Was not happy that the owner and ladies came by and just wanted to check the air pressure on golf cart tires. That could wait till Saturday morning once we leave. For the money we paid to stay in this house we could have gotten a house closer to the beach.

The pictures of the house don’t describe the real details of this property. When we first got there, it was nasty. The floors were dirty and looked liked they hadn’t been cleaned at all. There was even cheerios in the chair and my crew didn’t bring cheerios. Not any good kitchen utensils to cook if that’s something you want to do. All of the mattresses were like sleeping on box springs. Overall, for how expensive it was, just not impressed. Can’t get over how dirty the house was when there was a cleaning fee.

We enjoyed our stay, the owner was very helpful when checking in. The only negative was the TV was not a smart TV but we bought a roku and made due.

Great week!

We had a very nice time! This house sits in a quiet area which is nice with not a lot of traffic. House was nice! Beds were comfortable. Jacuzzi was a plus! Make sure you keep it covered to keep it hot! (Thanks to Tammy for that info) Would rent this house again!

Absolute rip off from an awful slum lord homeowner!

Showed up to house & walked up steps to find a mop & mop bucket sitting out on the porch which isn’t a big deal but just looks trashy to start off! Walked in to find 2 dirty bathrooms which is absolutely ridiculous in any case but especially in the days of COVID! Listing stated that the house is cleaned with antibacterial cleaners & when you rent the unit you are charged a cleaning fee which should ensure a cleanly home but the home was anything but that! Someone must have just gotten the mop wet and put it back because as professional cleaners we can tell you that the floors have not been properly mopped in a VERY long time! Our children’s feet were completely BLACK within minutes of walking in, that’s how dirty the floors were! The dead bolt on the front door doesn’t lock, so the extra security there is a joke! HOT TUB DID NOT WORK AT ALL! The coffee pot didn’t work & we had to go purchase our own! No linens at all in this unit either, so if you decide to book regardless of our review & other reviews be prepared with bedding & bath towels for your stay! To top all of this off Tammy is a very poor manager & refused to respond to our many attempts of contacting her about these issues via calls, texts and messages thru VRBO until after contacting VRBO & then it still took her another 24 plus hours to respond even after seeing that she read texts the night before but didn’t respond! It took THREE DAYS after checking in before she finally responded & then since checking out has ghosted us again. A few other things to note… There is a sign on the washer saying not to wash laundry unless you are present as the washer may flood the house & if it does you will be held responsible, the beds are extremely uncomfortable & springy, there is code base above shower on the 1st floor & looks very trashy, & the drywall & drywall tape above shower on the 2nd floor is torn up & looks horrible… all of these things add to the house not being worth near what she charges! Ocean Lakes is a great place & we always have fun there but we highly advise against renting this unit or any unit from this person. Tammy also promised a refund for us having to clean the house (just what professional cleaners want to do to kick off their vacation), among other things & then never gave anything back. Completely disgusting how we were treated & what we were charged for such a filthy place! If there is a such thing as a slum lord in vacation rentals this owner is exactly that!

Look at pictures!

This home was clean upon arrival. Check in / out process was very easy! I would recommend looking at the pictures to determine if you and your family will have enough seating accommodations. The golf cart was extremely nice to have as it is the kind that the back seat can lay flat to put beach supplies on. The few issues we did have Tammy took care of in a timely manor (un-predictable common household issues). There was 6 of us in our group so we did rent a second golf cart. The location was nice because you are close enough to the activities but not to close to hear the noise. Nice rental!

Not What We Paid For!!

This was our first experience at Ocean Lakes Campground. And while I was a bit skeptical at first, at the end of the week, I was easily convinced that I would return for another vacation at this campground. However, I would not rent this same house in the future. We encountered the same issues that previous tenants complained about. First, we were a family of 5 -- 3 adults and two kids. The seating area in the den only allowed for 4 people to sit down -- they had one couch and one lounge chair. This area is large enough for a love seat to be added for guest of the house. The couch was still dirty -- it had sand in the cracks of the cushions that apparently had never been vacuumed out. The floor also had sand on it when we arrived -- although there was a mop bucket outside, it would be impossible for the floor to have been properly cleaned prior to our arrival with all of the sand that I swept up. Second, we had the same issue with a kitchen drawer that did not have slides on it, so when you pull the drawer out of the slot, it can easily fall on your foot/ground. I can't understand why this has not been repaired -- it is a simple $20 fix from Home Depot/Lowes. Third, while the bunk beds worked for us because our boys sleep in them at home, the ones at the house are made out of metal tubes and are quite loud and need some repair/tightening. Again, this could be a very reasonable repair/replacement that I would suggest to be made in the future. Also, inside the room with the bunk bed, the cable TV box is suspended in the air by the AC power cord plugged into the wall. If this fell on a childs head, it could cause some serious damage in my opinion. Fourth, the owners have put vinyl wall molding like you would use in commercial buildings at the bottom of a wall above the carpet as a water barrier at the top of the master bath shower. This is quite tacky for the amount of money that we paid for this house. Again simple fixes from HD/Lowes. Fifth, there was some type of wall repair in the guest bathroom so that near the shower head, the wall had been patched (along time ago) and never proper sanded or painted. Again, the appearance of this is unsightly and lends you to think that the homeowners just don't care about repairing the property correctly. In conclusion, the house worked for us but I think that it is overpriced and needs to be scheduled for some real repairs and updates. The total cost of that would be less than $2k for sure.

Love Ocean Lakes, home needs some minor updates.

We will be returning to Ocean Lakes again! Wonderful area. Quiet. The Home needs some updating. Here are our pros & cons: Pros: Wonderful area -Golf cart included was nice -hot tub was a nice bonus -King & queen beds were comfy. - soft water - bathrooms were updated & nice. Cons: - Door was locked upon arrival & no spare key was in lock box. Luckily we arrived at 4pm (not sure what we would have done had we arrived at 11pm). Maintenance man came 30 min later which was fine. It was beautiful outside. Easy fix. Not really a con, but a big mistake. -The couch is horrible! Our family couldn't even sit & watch a movie together because it was so uncomfortable. We would have watched it in the master bedroom but the TV in there is smaller than my iPad (little sarcasm but my monitor at home is bigger than that thing). Looked under the couch when leaving to make sure we weren't forgetting anything & the bottom of the couch was on the floor.. -Bunk bed upstairs was super noisy. (We could hear it downstairs with any movement) -noisy dishwasher (don't try having a conversation in the kitchen while it's running) -kitchenware could use some updating. We didn't cook much but the non stick pans are all scratched up. So I'm glad we didn't have to use them. -couldn't leave the house while clothes washer was going (possibility of flooding?) -missing cable for DVD player (couldn't play a movie) - broken kitchen cabinets (one just about fell on my husband's foot when he pulled it out) -floors were not clean when we arrived (there was a mop bucket left outside but I don't think it got used before we got there). Our feet were black after walking through the house. We mopped it ourselves. I wasn't going to call & have them come clean it. Overall we would stay again if some of these updates were done. Especially replacing the couch. That was a big letdown to not be able to sit in the same room together to play cards or watch a movie comfortably.

August 17-24 Vacation

My family enjoyed our vacation, weather was amazing. The home needs updating, patio furniture on the outside deck, several seating material is torn. House is listed to accommodate up to 10 people, however there is only one couch and a chair in the living room (worn). Upstairs mattress were not comfy at all. One family member tried to use the pull out, it was very dirty, so back to the original full bed she went. The homeowner/property manager, returned all calls and did some trouble shooting with the TV. Very nice. Location was perfect, the girls could ride their bikes, loved the Hot Tub. Overall it was a great time.
