We had an amazing stay at this property for our son‘s wedding week! Not only was the property beautiful, Edward was a great host to work with. The house was so wonderfully appointed with beautiful artwork and special touches everywhere. Communication with him was easy and he was quick to reply with any questions we had. Would definitely stay here again!

Michigan Getaway

This property was just what we needed to slow down and reconnect. The kids loved fishing and kayaking. The house had plenty of space and was pretty well stocked. We enjoyed local restaurants (Russo’s at the Lake and Curly Cone are highly recommended) as well as the local pickleball courts. Check in was a breeze and the snack basket, gift and note were very thoughtful. The host has done a fantastic job and communicated well. Thanks for sharing your home!

Amazing home on a beautiful lake

Beautiful location and views. The house felt clean and new, and has a well-stocked kitchen, stylish decor, and comfortable beds. The views of the lake are incredible from every room! The highlights were kayaking, hot tubbing, and sitting outside on the patio / dock. It should be noted that there is definitely no swimming in the lake. It’s shallow and mucky, but is so peaceful and makes for gorgeous scenery. Plus Yankee recreation center is a 3 minute drive with Gun lake access and beaches. The layout was a bit of a surprise - the dining area in the pictures is on the second floor way up in the back next to the projector. We enjoyed most meals on the huge island or outside so it wasn’t a big deal. Other perks - Communicative host, window a/c units cool the whole house really well. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

A perfect reunion getaway!

We had a lovely extended Labor Day weekend there! We were three high school friends getting back together in our forties, my husband, and our teenage daughter. The property had everything we could have wanted! The small grocery store a short walk down the street was super convenient, and we thoroughly enjoyed the few restaurants we drove to nearby. We had a great time using the kayaks and paddle boards provided, walking straight from the house to a nearby park for a 5-mile hike or to picnic along the other lake, watching a movie in the "theater room," and simply relaxing out back by the lake. Our daughter had fun using the Oculus, and one beautifully clear night she set up her new telescope for all of us to do some stargazing. We all had a wonderful time!

Family gathering (to attend a funeral)

An excellent location to relax both together and to find your own space. Beautiful scenery and the sounds of nature surround the house situated on quiet Long Lake. Spacious and well-equipped makes it easy to move in with just your clothes and food. (Many spices and a variety sauces are there already.)

4th of July weekend at Long Lake

Great house and location with all the amenities a family needs for a relaxing lake getaway. Kayaking and paddle boards provided a great time for everyone. House is well stocked and a great layout too. Owner answered all questions and had the house ready will so many little extras provided. Highly recommended!!

It’s the best of both worlds. Little long lake is quite, private and full of wildlife. (we are one of two home on the entire lake the home is surrounded by state land) across the street is the all sports, very swimable Gun Lake.
