Wonderful Stay!

Wonderful home right on the water and great location and convenient to grocery store and restaurants! The house had everything we needed with kayaks and floats and everything we needed inside the house as well and communication with the owner was easy.

Beautiful Sunsets

We enjoyed our stay on Crooked Lake and enjoyed the crochet swings in the screened in building by the lake. Our toddler loved the swing set and slide. We brought our fishing boat and caught some awesome fish. We would recommend that owners purchase new mattresses for a better nights sleep! Overall we had a great family weekend!

Summer Fun

We had a great stay at this property with things to do for both the adults and kids! The doc and water where great for swimming and jumping and the fishing is great. The property was exactly as described and as the pictures showed. We had plenty of room for all 9 of us, 4 adults and 5 kids

Great lake cottage

We had a great week on Crooked Lake - the cottage had everything we needed, the 3 kayaks were fun, and the screened gazebo with hammock chairs a great place to hang out. Communication with Meredith easy.

Great get a way

Meredith was great as a host, very responsive to some housekeeping issues we had upon arrival. Overall we had a wonderful time at the cottage. It is very well stocked, even provides beach towels. Kids and adults had fun with the kayaks, swimming, the enclosed hammock area was a bit hit also. It is a very nice lake and location. The house cleaners could do a better job- they vacuumed and cleaned bathrooms, but left beds not made well, under the beds, cobwebs, crumbs in furniture, and overlooked cleaning out refrigerator. Meredith was great though and was able to send them back out to the house. My only recommendation is to hire a different cleaning company!

Wonderful Summer Getaway

We loved staying here! The lake was beautiful and the sunsets were picture perfect. After a fun day of boating on the water the hammocks were a great place to sit and relax. The kids had a blast as well.

Wonderful place to stay - had a great time!!!

Lake house was very clean and well stocked with amenities.. The lake was very nice and clean. We caught a lot of fish right from the dock. Sunfish, blue gills and large mouth bass. The living room is a little small, but we all fit in there comfortably. The owner was very responsive and answered all our questions. Would definitley stay there again !!!!

Absolute Awesomeness !!

Great property, has Air Conditoning, gas stove and oven. RokuTV has Netflix Hulu and Disney apps, you just need to login to your account. Beds are comfortable and have blankets. They even provide towels. You get two parking spaces. You get a private fenced beach. There is an island in the lake to kayak to, etc. Great 4th of July fireworks at the lake. Grocery store and gas station are less than 7mins drive. Tennis courts nearby at Hastings Highschool. Holland beach had volleyball courts, a Dutch windmill park, and a cool boardwalk community. Thank you Meredith for sharing your wonderful home with us.

The kitchen ceiling was very low I had a friend that 6 foot four hit his head many times.

We had a great time the weather could’ve been better for golfing and fishing No mention of a fee for putting in your own boat and taking it out. Overall we had a good time.

Crooked Lake

Meredith was excellent with communication. It was a nice getaway, although the weather didn’t cooperate most of the time we were there. But we were able to explore Holla d and Saugutuck. I would suggest this property for a small family since the kitchen area and family room area are very small. But we enjoyed our time away!

Delton cottage 2020

Enjoyed the property very much. The property manager was very responsive and nice to work with. Would have liked a little more beach or sandy bottom for the kids and a little more accessible firepit, but overall, we had a wonderful time in a lovely cottage on a beautiful lake.

Perfect lake house

House was fantastic! Clean, well- supplied, and such a great location. We fished, kayaked, swam, and enjoyed beautiful sunsets. Lake was clean and warm, and the yard and hammock house were wonderful. Fire pit was great for s’mores in the evening. Kitchen had everything we needed. Roku was nice on a rainy day- kids could watch a movie. I would definitely stay here again, and have shared the listing with family and friends.

Mother Daughter Getaway

We stayed for a long weekend the end of October, my four daughters and I. Very nice location and great for a getaway. Even thought the weather was cold it was place to spend some quality time together, after a full day of shopping. Meredith was great about answering emails when we had a question. Thank you.

Wonderful home to share for a family from age 65 to 4 years old.

This lake house has been updated to be very comfortable inside and outside. The bedrooms and full bath upstairs made it easy for the young families to be away from all the activity going on downstairs when naps were needed. Having a bathroom within access of coming from outside was very handy. The counter area of the breakfast bar was perfect for serving the meals and the table was large enough for our family to sit together. My granddaughters were thrilled with the many toys to play with and the selection of videos. The yard and swing set and patio and lake and screen house were everything a family needs when sharing the beautiful Michigan weather. My family will stay here again when visiting our family. Thank you to the owner family for always being available to answer when we had questions.

Quiet week of relaxation

Lovely property. We really enjoyed the screened in gazebo, as well as the swimming area and dock. House was roomy enough, and had what we needed. Comfy and cozy. Living room is a little tight, but hopefully you are spending most of your time outdoors! Quick note - if you are using the kayaks, the green one is very tough to maneuver. Tippy and hard to keep straight. My poor husband actually capsized it - he is an experienced kayaker - the center of gravity is just extremely small. Thank goodness he was wearing a life jacket, as we were in the center of the lake!

Just what our family was looking for!

We had a wonderful stay on crooked lake thanks to Meredith! The house is perfect for families looking for a lakefront getaway. The fenced in backyard, playset and shallow lake approach made it possible for our kids to fully enjoy the trip as well. The lake was clean and not very busy (even on Labor Day) we were able to dock our boat as well. Hopefully we can come back soon!

Perfect Lake Hideaway for a Family

We couldn't have picked a better rental for our family vacation! The house was even better than the listing promised. An outside screened-in gazebo provided a bug free oasis to enjoy the beautiful sunrises and sunsets over Crooked Lake. With three young children, traveling can be difficult, but this property made easy and enjoyable. We were pleasantly surprised by a swing set in the back yard, a fire pit just steps from the lake, and a dock with a slide at the end, pointed straight into the water. Inside the house were books and dvds for the adults to enjoy and a trunk with books, puzzles, games and movies for the kids. The kitchen was stocked with all the cookware we could ever need AND plastic cups with lids, and plates with fun designs that made my kids feel right at home...and made me more relaxed that they couldn't break anything. The instructions for nearby shops and activities were perfect for what we needed. There were so many options for day trips and activities that we actually ran out of days to do everything we wanted. This area provided the perfect blend of relaxing family time and fun vacation activities for all of us. We will definitely be back!
