Esta escapada perfecta se encuentra en el precioso sur de Cape Coral, justo en el canal con acceso directo (sin bloqueo barco) hasta el Golfo de México. Aunque situada en un barrio tranquilo y bien cuidado, todos los servicios como restaurantes, tiendas, campos de golf y playas son de fácil acceso.
La casa tiene 2500 pies cuadrados de espacio de vida y viene con baldosas en toda la casa y está totalmente adaptada para minusválidos (incl. Una rampa hasta el muelle). Dispone de 4 dormitorios y 3 baños y un aseo, dos salas de estar, una sala de comedor y una cocina bien equipada. La zona al aire libre muy bien diseñado y espacioso incluye una gran piscina y una terraza con sombra equipada con muebles de calidad.

Business Trip

We needed housing for a week during a recent business trip. The house was perfect for this, allowing 4 men the space needed to not fill cooped up inside a hotel.

Florida bum

Home was in a nice neighborhood. The pool got the sun by late morning and all the way into the early evening. The house had lots of space for everyone to have space of their own. Any issues we had were quickly resolved by Sven, the property manager.

Spring Break 2023

We had a great week! We loved spending time outside at the beautiful pool. We also enjoyed the view of the canal! The outdoor table was a great space for relaxing and playing games. Overall, I would stay at the property again!

Very nice home

The home was well furnished and the beds were comfortable. Pool was wonderful, it was a great location. Property manager, Remy, was great and responded to our needs. Only issue was the missing cage over the pool, but the bugs were not bad. Remy provided us with a bug zapper which helped. Would definitely stay at the home again.

Quilting getaway

we are a group of ladies who always take a week to enjoy quilting and just some girl time. Normally we go to the mountains, but this time we decided to stay closer to home to eliminate a long drive....it was a GREAT decision. We enjoyed the home / the pool / the space we had to spread out and the local area. Thank you for great accomodations.

Nice and clean . Very quite lots of stores in the area. Realtor extra nice . But the pool was not heater it was real cold . Could not get in it.

Gorgeous home and great location

The property is beautiful, was clean and perfect for a family of 8 with 2 young children (ages 7& 10). Very spacious. The reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars was that it was poorly stocked - no dish soap, no sponge or even a cloth for cleaning dishes, had to hunt for a roll of toilet paper. These are items that I would think would be readily available for vacationers to have in a rental home - rather than having to spend time to run and get them.

Gorgeous home!

This home is situated in a very nice and super quiet neighborhood. The outside of the home is nice but it's the inside that is beachy perfection! Gorgeous decor that made us feel like royalty. The pool and view of the canal was incredible. We didn't cook much (frozen pizza... Lol) but the kitchen is perfect if you plan on cooking. We honestly didn't want to leave. When we escape from indiana again, we will definitely look into staying at the Lazy Pelican again! ❤️

Very, Very nice!

This home received a studs out renovation in 2015 and is in new condition- the photos on VRBO are very accurate. The neighborhood was very quite and neighbors are friendly. The house backs up to a canal (with nice dock access but no lift) that will access the gulf but it takes a pleasurable 40 minutes at idle speed to get there. The local property manager was very responsive. You will be spoiled by this property as it was clearly one of the nicer ones in the area.

Not what we expected

Place needs some serious attention and cleaning. Bathroom sinks had spiders living in them. Cheap TVs which barely worked. WIFI was non existent. Could hardly stay connected and trying to work was impossible. Garbage disposal doesn't work. Dishwasher backed up into the sink. Pool area was a disaster. Had to get new cushions from the property manager just to sit outside. Thats after us scrubbing the existing cushions which were covered in mildew and filth. Pool is old and in need of work. Just a horrible place for the money. Extremely disappointed.

Overall good. Well equipped, no folder found with info re villa - not sure if we needed to strip beds etc. Cushions on sun loungers stained + looked worn. Otherwise great.

Great Stay!

House was in quiet neighborhood. Location was excellent for our 2 week stay while we were working. Only complaints were: -Coffee maker still had grounds in it -Some light bulbs were burnt out -Dock area not well lit if you go down to water after dark. Other than those minor issues…I highly recommend.

Great vacation home

This stay was our third stay in SW Florida at a vacation home, and it was delightful. The home is in a quite neighborhood and is exactly as advertised. We enjoyed spending time around the beautiful pool, and visited a number of the nearby restaurants and attractions. The owner and host were very accessible and easy to communicate with. I'd definitely enjoy staying here again in the future.

Wonderful House

Very large, spacious, beautifully updated house. A quiet, peaceful neighborhood. The pool was perfect for our family. We would highly recommend this home for vacation rental.

Location was great - house needs a few updates

Pool and view were great! Home was a good size, but it needs some updating- repairs. I had to buy cups to drink from, cake pan, and frying pan. Could have bought more... but......Definitely needs some kitchen items. Stove made a horrible noice when heating up but was usable. Air conditioner had a mind of its own! Since you are paying for the electricity (not included in the weekly rental price) we kept trying to turn air up to 75° or 76° and it always seemed to go back down to 72°. Prop manager showed us how to use it but that didn't help. Home was not Clean when we arrived but prop manager took care of us. Prop owner did not charge us extra for electricity which was appreciated since we had to buy some kitchen items and had to stay in another home the 1st night. BIG INCONVENIENCE! overall house was nice to stay in for a week. And homeowner and property manager were very accessible...

Great vacation!

Great house! Loved the location, house was beautiful and had plenty of room. Only complaints was there was no gas in the propane tank for grill, the oven was unusable because of an awful noise it was making and we had to go buy our own wash clothes. There were plenty of towels but no wash clothes. The location is great you are with in driving distance to several different beaches. The pool was great for the kids to play in and the adults to relax.

We were happy with the place.

Overall we had a very nice experience, there were minor problems such as the garage smelling and the main bedroom bathroom door not working, but the owner told us that was from the people that stayed just before us.

Awesome Vacation!

WE had a great time at the Lazy Pelican. Beautiful, spacious home with a heated pool. My kids swam in it every day! Nice, quiet neighborhood - especially loved the burrowed owls, so cute! The property manager was very helpful when we had a wifi issue, and quick to answer my texts. Would stay again if we are in the area. Thank you!

Electricity Fee

We had a wonderful family getaway in March, 2019. The house met all of our needs and the location was nice. This review would have been 5 stars, however, there was a huge misunderstanding concerning the electrical fees. First, we were not aware we would be responsible for overage of the electrical bill. We went back to access the info from our reservation, however, we were no longer able to because our reservation ha been fulfilled, consequently, we had no proof we wreninformation book in the House was in German. When we asked the manager for one in English, we were told to use translator on our phone or computer.

Ideal Family Vacation House

My husband and I stayed at the Lazy Pelican house for the month of February 2019. The house was extremely clean, updated, nicely furnished and well stocked with most everything you would need. The outdoor space was great - heated pool, lounge chairs, gas grill and covered eating area. We were out there every day! Inside was an open area with kitchen and living room, plus a separate TV area. The dining table sat 8 people. The master suite was at one end of house while the other guest bedrooms were opposite. Only suggestions would be to add a broiling pan in the kitchen, a backup gas tank for the grill and the ESPN channel to the cable TV channel list for the sports fans. We did incur additional charges for electricity usage which was expected since we heated the pool everyday and used the AC for approximately 10 days out of the month we were there. Very nice house!
