This cozy cabin nestled in the Quiet Water community is sure to be a favorite! Whether it's a rainy day outside and you enjoy the quaintness of the home next to the fireplace, or a quick walk into town to explore charming downtown Yachats - this cabin has it all! The upstairs has a Queen bed and a half bathroom. Downstairs has a full bed and a full bathroom with a shower / tub combo. The kitchen is well equipped for your cooking needs. Quiet Water in the mountains by the sea, there is a place you will want to be. Blue Heron and Eagles come to nest, elk and deer come to rest. Where salmon swim and otters too, you may even see a bear or two. This is a very quiet place, where dark waters flow down to the sea. This is the place you’ll want to be. - Cindy Johnson -

Expensive Teardown

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The cabin had cheap and rundown decor. The amenities were sparse and poorly appointed. The cabin had an awful smell, so several scented candles were needed. The cleanliness was subpar, with cobwebs and vermin. I would not recommend.

Cube Cabin, Needs Some Attention

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Great location, cute cabin but not very clean. Cobwebs everywhere: beams, window frames, banister, lamps, light fixtures....and a lot of dead spiders and bugs. And they were thick, not the most pleasant things to look up at while in bed - the downstairs bedroom beams had layers of thick cobwebs on each beam. I understand it’s a cabin and with wood beams spiders and a few cobwebs are to be expected but this was excessive, especially since there was a swiffer in the closet and plenty of dusters. It took me about an hour to do it, I used the vacuum and the swiffer. It made a huge difference. The bedding smelled musty, I believe it’s because the washing machine stinks - it needs a deep clean. The oven and refrigerator also need to be deep cleaned, the fridge and freezer had spills and were dirty. It’s a super cute and cozy cabin and has so much potential. Looking out at nothing but trees was a major plus. Loved the games that were provided. Would consider renting again if the property was better cared for.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: It was a beautiful place to stay. Close to the ocean but woodsy setting. Clean and well furnished. Only suggestions would be to get the threshold repaired (not a good first impression) and please add a microwave. People traveling often eat out and need a way to quickly heat up leftovers. We had one other issue that the company took care of.Yes, we would recommend this lovely spot to others

Nice quiet nest

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a nice place for a get away. Far enough from the beach and town to be pretty quiet yet still close enough to reach either on a short walk. Only potential drawback is that it’s close to the tennis court and pool, so there may be noise from kids playing on a warm weekend. Also note there is no microwave.

We had a relaxing stat at "The Nest". It was comfortable and cozy. The representative for the Nest was very responsive when we were a bit unsure about the locking mechanism. We enjoyed meeting the neighbors across the street. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Memorial Day get away

Our family needed an unplugged getaway and Yachats was perfect. The house was more than we needed, but also perfect. We parked the day we arrived and had no need to drive until our departure. If you are looking for an immaculately clean house, this place is not for you. There are lots of beautiful beams and high ceilings, so lots of opportunities for spiders and cobwebs. Our family is okay with this, but not everyone is. We loved our stay

Cozy cabin

This place was cute, cozy and close to everything we could've possibly wanted, but was not very clean. It was decorated in a practical and comfortable manner. There was plenty of room for 3 adults. The neighborhood was quiet and easy to navigate. The only downside was there were tons of cobwebs, lots of dust on all the fixtures, bird poop all over the back porch, broken glass on the ground out back and a dirty tissue on the porch upstairs. With some cleaning and better upkeep, this could be a very nice place.

Great introduction to Oregon

My partner and I stayed at “The Nest” and it was amazing. The house is charming and has the basics. Loved it so much I’m looking to hopefully buy something in the area that matches this house. Overall great memories will be made here no matter what.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friend and I had a most relaxing stay. We loved the timber frame interior, particularly the glassed-in room which made us feel like being in a treehouse. The home was in walking distance to the ocean, the store and to restaurants. The neighborhood was extremely quiet. We left a notebook behind and the staff was most helpful in sending it back. All in all, a great stay. We want to come back soon.

Great location

The cabin was cozy and comfortable. Loved the bed in downstairs bedroom! Said it had a hot tub when we booked it, no hot tub. Said we had pool access, no pool access. Needs curtains! Still nice! Had everything you would need.

Love Quiet Waters

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Cute, updated cabin, homey feeling. Nordic Vibe,IKEA furnishings etc. Only parking is on the street. Would not rent in the summer since there is no view, or real space to enjoy the sun on the lot since both decks are surrounded by trees. Take a coffee pot , there is no microwave, and more bath towels,comes with three. The TV does not get cable, so no sports etc. but is Direct TV.Took us ages to figure that out. I would not rec. little children due to the upper loft area or to anyone planning to use the upper level if any mobility issues. The owners have left lots of personal items in cabinets , front entry , shoes,coats etc. so felt like we were sort of intruding. We knew there was no view when we rented but found we really missed having one at the beach.
