Location, location, location! Looking for a comfortable place to stay in the Outer Banks? Look no further than our efficiency apartment located in the downstairs of our family home. With a private entrance and all the amenities you need for a great vacation, you'll feel right at home in our cozy and inviting space. Short 10 minute walk to the beach, and only 5 minute walk to the sound with a public access!

Featuring a spacious bedroom and a comfortable couch, our apartment is the perfect place to unwind after a long day at the beach. The kitchenette includes a mini-fridge, microwave, and coffee maker, making it easy to prepare light meals and snacks. The bathroom features a large tiled shower and we have an outdoor shower for rinsing off sandy toes and salty skin.

Enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on our private outdoor seating area or take a nap in the hammock. Our backyard offers plenty of space to play and relax.

Our home is perfectly located between Jockey's Ridge State Park and the Outer Banks Mall. Biking is a popular mode of transportation in the area and the beach and sound are easily accessible by bike via sidewalks and crosswalks. Golf enthusiasts will appreciate the nearby 18-hole championship course at Nags Head Golf Links.

We take pride in being able to provide our guests with insider tips on the best dining spots and things to do in the area. We provide beach chairs and bikes to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Our neighborhood features an outdoor waterside community area available to guests that includes a playground , pickleball, basketball, and a dock for fishing and crabbing. A small sound side beach access is also within walking distance, ideal for watching the sunset or launching a kayak or paddleboard.

As a family-friendly home, we ask that guests keep noise levels reasonable and avoid loud partying or drug use. Our goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for all of our guests to enjoy! We have two kids, and you may hear their little footsteps from time to time or see them playing in the back yard!

Me and my girlfriend Allie stayed at the nags head retreat and were very pleased with our stay. The room was very clean the owners were very nice and welcoming. The location was very convenient and the room had everything we needed! Would definitely stay again! Perfect place for a couples weekend retreat!

We loved the decor of this efficient and clean room. Our favorite was the surfboard swing. The bikes were a real bonus too. We'd definitely stay here again.

Really wonderful time during our 2 night stay at the Russell’s Nags Head Retreat. Perfect spot to land for a short visit. They had exactly what we needed to spend time at the beach- chairs, umbrella, bikes. Comfortable bed, hangout nook, and excellent recommendations of things to do and places to go. We will be back! Good vibes indeed!

This location was impeccably maintained. The decor was adorable and very welcoming. The host went above and beyond and thought of a lot of little things to add to the property to insure a comfortable environment. The neighborhood was quiet and located near a lot of attractions. I would highly recommend this property ! We will be back

Clean, cozy, convenient Nags head stay

The place was very clean smelled wonderful. They had great beach bikes to ride. The beach is literally three blocks away. They have beach chairs for you to utilize every morning. I got up and would ride the bike there and then sit on the beach. It was wonderful. Restaurants are very close. You could even ride your bicycle there great place to stay great location.

Perfect little getaway!

We had a fantastic stay at the Nags Head Retreat! The central location was convenient for a quick trip to Duck Donuts or the beach! My 10-year old loved the backyard oasis and the outdoor shower was much appreciated for sand removal. Immie was a fantastic host - with a binder of suggestions for local must-dos, great communication, and a big thanks for fulfilling my special request for sand toys! 10/10! Thank you!!!
