This booking includes Carina and Vela, two separate apartments at Casa Verapaz. Ideal for families and groups, they offer their own kitchens, living areas, and beautiful lake-and-volcano views, giving guests both togetherness and privacy.

The space:
- Carina offers a 1-bedroom layout with a loft, large living area, full kitchen, and balcony views of the lake and volcanoes.
- Vela offers a 1-bedroom layout with its own living area, full kitchen, and beautiful views.

Together, they create a flexible setup that is ideal for families and groups who want to stay connected while still enjoying space and privacy.

Guests especially love the open living areas, stocked kitchens, outdoor gathering spaces, and the peaceful setting surrounded by gardens and views.

Sleeping arrangements:
Carina + Vela accommodate up to 12 guests.
- Carina: 2 King beds, 2 Full beds in the loft, 1 Queen sofa bed
- Vela: 1 King bed, 1 Queen sofa bed

A great feature of this stay is that both Carina and Vela have their own kitchen, along with space to dine and relax.

This gives your group flexibility, comfort, and room to spread out while still enjoying time together on one beautiful lakeside property.

Guests can enjoy beautiful gardens, balconies with lake and volcano views, outdoor gathering spaces, BBQ areas, pool access, and a hot springs jacuzzi.

The property also offers direct lake access. Please note that the pool is not heated, the jacuzzi is heated on request, and the lake access is natural lakeshore access rather than a beach-style swimming area.

Location:
Located in Santa Catarina Palopó, Casa Verapaz offers both road and lake access, is a short walk from the village, and is about 10 minutes by car from Panajachel.

A peaceful setting with easy access to nearby towns, restaurants, shops, and boat connections around Lake Atitlán.

Guest access:
Guests will have access to Carina and Vela, as well as the outdoor areas, gardens, pool, jacuzzi, and lake access.

You will receive keys for both property entrances, with access from the main road and the lakeside. If you are arriving by car, we will also provide a gate remote for easier entry.

Please note that Pablo is a separate guest space on the property and may be booked independently during your stay.

The pool is not heated, and the jacuzzi is heated on request.

- Check-in instructions will be sent 24 hours before arrival.
- Maximum occupancy is 12 guests. No parties or events allowed.
- Dog-friendly: $50 USD / Q385 per pet, per stay. Please add your pet to the reservation.
- Laundry service available: Q60 per load.
- Parking: On-site parking is best suited for smaller vehicles. Larger vehicles may need to park on the street or in paid parking nearby.
- Please note: As is common in our hillside lakeside setting, the property includes stairs and outdoor walking paths between some areas.
- For safety, exterior security cameras are located at the front entrance, stairs, and rear entrances. They record video only, not sound.
- The property offers natural lake access, not a beach-style swimming area.
- The pool is not heated, and the jacuzzi is heated on request.
- Santa Catarina Palopó is a peaceful village, but like many towns in Guatemala, there may occasionally be fireworks, music, church sounds, or local celebrations.
