Tenemos una propiedad frente al lago con un muelle privado, gran cubierta con un techo de palapa sobre el lago. La casa es un grande de 3 dormitorios, 3 1/2 baño villa moderna. Magníficas vistas del lago y los volcanes.

La Palapa en el lago es una de las característica más singular de esta propiedad. Ideal para bodas, fiestas, yoga, o simplemente descansar bajo el sol. Se compone de una cubierta de 1000 pies cuadrados con un techo de palapa más de la mitad de la cubierta, proporcionando un amplio sol y sombra. muebles de la cubierta, de tumbonas, hamacas y columpios.

La casa es una gran villa con grandes ventanales con vistas al lago desde la sala de estar, comedor y las habitaciones. Hay tres grandes habitaciones privadas, cada una con baño privado que consta de doble lavabo, ducha y bañera. El dormitorio principal tiene una cama de matrimonio, mientras que las dos habitaciones que constan de 3 camas cada una (1 extra grande, 3 dobles y 2 pueden ser reorganizados para satisfacer sus necesidades). La casa también tiene una cocina completa, parrilla de barbacoa de gas, patio, comedor, sala de estar y sala de meditación. Ideal para grupos de parejas, familias o individuos. La casa puede alojar cómodamente hasta 12 invitados.

La casa tiene un hermoso jardín con palmeras, un montón de estar y hamacas fuera, fuera de patio amueblado con una parrilla de barbacoa de gas, acceso Wi-Fi a Internet de alta velocidad, agua caliente y cocina completa con electrodomésticos.

Nuestra casa se encuentra en el camino frente al lago principal que va desde Santa Cruz a Paxanax. Hay hoteles y restaurantes para disfrutar de un paseo de 10 minutos de nuestra casa. También puede llegar a cualquiera de los otros pueblos alrededor del lago para hacer excursiones en barco. Los primeros barcos públicos comienzan a las 6 am, mientras que los últimos en regresar a las 5:30 AM. embarcaciones privadas se pueden arreglar para que lo recoja o te deja en nuestro muelle privado en cualquier momento.

Entrada de invitados:

Los clientes que alquilan la casa tendrán un uso completo de toda la casa, patio, cubierta de palapa, y un muelle privado. Tenemos una pequeña casita detrás de la casa donde viven los cuidadores en el sitio.

Si es necesario, podemos organizar el transporte privado desde el aeropuerto en la ciudad de Guatemala a los muelles de Panajachel, donde también podemos tener un barco privado listo para llevarlo a nuestro muelle privado. Alrededor de $ 100 para el servicio de transporte privado para 2 personas de la ciudad de Guatemala y $ 20 para el barco privado. Mi hijo y su hija-en-ley, Larry y Sarah, son en vivo en los cuidadores que viven en la casita detrás de la casa principal. Se le dará la bienvenida a su llegada y encantados de responder cualquier pregunta que pueda tener acerca de la propiedad y los alrededores del lago.

El vecindario

Nuestra casa se encuentra en el camino frente al lago principal que va desde Santa Cruz a Paxanax. Hay hoteles y restaurantes para disfrutar de un paseo de 10 minutos de nuestra casa. Relaxing Place

Beautiful and peaceful location with views of volcanoes and lake! I loved that any question I had, was answered quicly. We lost lights the second day and we were given steps on how to turn on the generator! This is our second time at Casa de Larry and we enjoyed our stay there. I will definitely stay there again!

Best VRBO in last decade of our travels

Absolutely amazing! I’ve never once gotten to a VRBO or other rental and said to myself: “holy s&@t, this place is far better than advertised.” From the spaciousness of the home and outdoor areas, to the lush gardens, to the sauna and hot tub, and to the absolute best location and view on the lake (you’re looking out across the lake right in the middle of the two main volcanoes) this property never ceased to impress us during our stay.

A vacation amidst our vacation

This is a wonderful place to enjoy the beauty of the lake. It’s totally comfortable with beautiful gardens and views. The kids loved jumping off the dock and swimming. Elena, the housekeeper, is a great cook which was much better than going to restaurants. It was easy to get around. Lots of cozy places to read a book and relax. I would highly recommend staying here!

Excellent stay right on the lake

Everything was great. We were only 5 people but the house could easily fit more, so there was plenty of room for us to spread out. The housekeeper cooked us a few meals and did laundry which was a nice option and reasonably priced. Having a private dock allowed us to have a private boat drop us off with our bags right at the house. The outdoor and lounge areas were great too. Highly recommended.

Very impressed. Casa de Larry is absolutely beautiful. There is nothing more youll need! Pictures do not do the house justice. Once you arrive to Casa de Larry, it's breathtaking. Equipped with everything for your comfort. I will definitely be staying here again.

Ideal location: spectacular unbroken view of Lake Atitlan guarded by 2 volcanos, garden beautifully cared for with a riot of colors, many outside "rooms", mid-century modern house, clear water swimming off the dock, hot tub with view, 5 minute walk to Santa Cruz. Larry, is easy to reach, quick to respond. Look no further!

We loved staying at Casa de Larry! What a unique place to stay and visit. Our stay in Santa Cruz will be the most memorable of our entire Guatemala journey. The host was very responsive and also helped us in some ways to navigate the country even away from the house. The house was like it was described in the listing with many places to relax and it was just a short walk to the main dock in Santa Cruz. My only regrets were that we didn't book a few more days and that we chose a hazy time of year to come. The view across the lake wasn't as nice as the pictures, but nothing can be done about the weather.

Luxurious Lakeside Retreat

Casa de Larry is perfect for a relaxing escape from daily life. Eleven of my close friends and family and I enjoyed our stop at Atitlan along our trek across Guatemala. Casa de Larry afforded ample space to socialize in every setting on could seek. Soaking in the sunset and stargazing from the spacious deck and playing cards in the groovy lounge were favorite experiences at this exceptional property, enhanced with lavish gardens and exquisite views, with all the conveniences of home. The private dock made transport to Panajachel easy and the jacuzzi soothed all of our muscle aches from daytime hikes. Our only regret is that we couldn’t stay longer. Highly recommend.

Amazing unwind destination

Casa de Larry was an amazing place to stay to unwind and enjoy beautiful views from sunrise to sunset. As a frontline worker, this trip was cancelled for me at the start of the Pandemic. Working hard thru the pandemic as an ER nurse, this was exactly what was needed to forget and relax a bit. Larry is an amazing host and a great communicator. I will definitely be back for a family reunion that will include my three boys, who would love to jump into lake Atitlan!

We all agreed Casa de Larry was our favorite stay in Guatemala! Check in was easy so was check out! We were given advise where to eat and boat prices. Swimming at the lake was our favorite activity so enjoyed that there was a dock to jump off of. All rooms were spacious and the kitchen was stocked with needed items. And yes, we will definitely come back and stay our only wish was that we stayed longer!

From the start Larry was very attentive to our request, when we got there we were met at the dock and helped unloading of our stuff, I highly recommend this beautiful place and the staff! We will be back to this slice of heaven away from home! I just can't say enough! Perfect vacation!

best christmas on the lake

My family of 12 stayed at Larry's house for Christmas for 3 nights and it was the most amazing experience. He welcomed us at his private dock when we arrived from Panajachel and helped us take all of our luggage and things in. The house was very clean and fully equipped! We made christmas dinner there for our entire family and he had enough kitchen supplies for everything. Even had some things in the fridge and said we could use (honey, juice, strawberries). There was also a helper than came in to help us clean up the kitchen, wash dishes, sweep, etc. All twelve of us comfortably fit in the home and there were various communal spaces around the house to enjoy. We really liked that because there was space for the older people to just sit down and talk but also another space with couches where the younger ones could play games without disturbing the rest of the group. (There is also a game closet that we took full advantage of) The house was picture perfect with a private palapa with comfy couches that we sat on to see all of the fireworks from the surrounding towns on christmas eve. We had such an amazing view of the lake from the front door and even the master bedroom. What a beautiful sight to wake up to! We were able to get into the lake right from the private dock too! Overall Larry was an amazing host, and truly gave my entire family a magical christmas that we will never forget. Thank you Larry for sharing your amazing home. We really hope to be back one day.

It is a beautiful spot to enjoy Lake Atitlan!

The home itself was lovely, right on the water and the views to dye for. We were without electricity for 2 days, so that made it a bit awkward! If it happens frequently, Larry should think about getting a generator like other rentals around us. There is one thing I might add, the owner is staying in the casita on the property and although he was helpful, you might feel that your privacy is invaded as he likes to sit where I would guess he considers 'common property'. It was not a problem for us but it might be for others.

Gorgeous views and relaxing accomodations

The house was as described and the view was spectacular! Larry Jr and his wife were so hospitable and helpful. They prepared the house for us and stocked the fridge in advance with all our favorites. Ice is not plentiful and Larry was kind enough to have the freezer well stocked!!!! They offered the best recommendations and were extremely knowledgeable about Lake Atitlan and Guatemala in general. Their recommendation of Xocomil Tours helped us throughout our stay because Frederico and Andreas went above and beyond! Highly recommend this villa!!!

Fabulous Lake House

We stayed at Casa de Larry for three days -- nine of us in two families. The house was beautiful and clean and had everything we needed. The views of the lake were wonderful from inside the house and outside, even better. The large private palapa over the lake was an amazing place to hang out, read, chat, nap, and we spent a lot of time there. The hosts, Larry and Sarah, were very helpful (even did a couple of loads of laundry for us). We've been to Lake Atitlan before -- Casa de Larry is definitely where we'll come back!

Absolutely gorgeous

Most Everything was lovely. A few downsides were the hot water was not working, the beds were quite firm, and the local host Josh didn't speak much Spanish which was unfortunate. The owner Larry was wonderful and accommodating. Our boat driver Pedro was very kind professional and responsible.
