Welcome to Green Pastures, a new luxury home in the village of Empire.

Our small family has dreamed of owning a home in Leelanau County for over 12 years. We recently made our dream come true and we want to share our dream home with you. Immediately adjacent to Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore and within walking distance to Empire beach, our house is perfect for nature loving families, anyone looking for a restful retreat, or anyone who is energized about exploring the local area. Spend the day in the village of Empire or take a quick 10-minute drive to Glen Arbor. Traversing sand dunes, canoeing at Crystal River, boating at Little and Big Glen Lakes, wine tasting up and down both Old Mission and Leelanau Peninsula and so much more await you.

Our home is in a quiet, residential community. We observe quiet hours after 9pm. We do not allow any pets or smoking. Events and parties are strictly forbidden.

This property is a brand-new build completed in 2023. This is a 2300 square foot home and thus there is plenty of room to spread out. Our home has a very well-appointed gourmet kitchen. The kitchen is stocked with every amenity possible including but not limited to, a slow cooker, toaster, waffle maker, blender, small food processer, large food processor, air fryer, cookie sheets & Silpat mats, coffee bean grinder, coffee scale, MoccaMaster coffee machine, Keurig & complimentary K Cups, coffee filters, electric kettle, French press, and v60 pour over system. The kitchen is equipped with all KitchenAid appliances, gas stovetop, dishwasher and drawer microwave. We provide complimentary dishwasher pods, dish soap, hand soap and trash bags.

Summer season rentals are Saturday through Saturday.

Our home includes a stackable LG washer and dryer. We provide complimentary laundry detergent and dryer sheets.

We provide a complimentary highchair, porta crib and porta crib sheets for your littles. Please make sure to request the porta crib in your booking.

Our home has a fire pit, with Adirondack chairs, an outdoor dining area that seats 8 as well as a Napoleon propane grill with BBQ utensils. There are two small portable day coolers in the garage for your use.

Our home is equipped with Sonos Speakers. The Upstairs TV is 55" and the downstairs TV is 86". The TV downstairs comes with a Sonos soundbar and subwoofer and is matched with a pit sectional couch making it the perfect place to enjoy a family movie after a day of Kayaking at the Crystal River, scaling the Sand Dunes or wine tasting on the Peninsulas.

Our home comes with 3 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. We provide Egyptian Cotton linens. All bedrooms have luxurious 14" deep memory foam mattresses. The master bedroom has a king bed, and the two lower-level bedrooms have queen beds. The downstairs living room couch has a frameless, memory foam, pull-out, queen-sized bed. All bedrooms have black out shades. Our home can comfortably sleep 8. The master bedroom is on the main floor and the two secondary bedrooms are on the lower level.

The spa-like bathrooms in our home provide complimentary towels, shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Our home has 2 full bathrooms and one, half bathroom. Both bathrooms have hair dryers.

Our home is an 18-minute walk to Empire Beach (The best beach in Leelanau County). The beach has a massive playground and has complimentary fire pits in the summer. We provide complimentary beach towels.

All the art in our home was locally sourced and curated as a nod to the beauty of the nature in Leelanau and to highlight the artistic talent of this area. Our home has a gas fireplace for cold winters. Our home offers a dedicated workspace, with high speed 300megabit per second Wi-Fi service, for those who may need to tend to daily work affairs.
