Beautiful, updated one bedroom, two bath ground floor condo with tile floors throughout. Newly updated extended living room. Updated well appointed kitchen with modern appliances blending in nicely with the open, tastefully decorated living room with large HD TV . Updated bathroom off the master bedroom and 2nd bathroom off the hallway. Laundry center for added convenience. Less than 10 minute walk to the resort, beaches and restaurants. On 18th Fairway of the Fazio Course. Free Wifi and nation wide calling. Ground floor and wheel chair accessible. All towels and linens are provided.

Welcome to Kuilima Estates, the condo property located on the grounds of world-renowned Turtle Bay. The condos are surrounded by two beautifully manicured golf courses and are the only condos on the North Shore. This is a great place to relax, rewind, and restore, and a world away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The condo property is a short walk to the hotel and to a lovely, sheltered, coved beach, where you can swim, snorkel, and surf. We have our pools, with lounge chairs, an outdoor shower, and charcoal BBQ grills. Bring your own equipment and play tennis on our courts at no charge. Experience the comforts of home as you experience aloha!

Since we are in a tropical environment, it is common to see insects and geckos in the condos. No amount of spraying will completely eliminate insects, especially ants.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This place was located at a beautiful location! The premises were wonderful, close to Kahuku food trucks, not too far from a few supermarkets, and other places of interest. The swimming pool was nice. Our kids enjoyed it very much! And close to Turtle Bay! The pull-out bed was comfy. It can get a bit hot, but there are fans and air conditioning in the bedroom.The washing machine and dryer were really loud.

Found 5 cockroaches, one alive the rest dead, Had some plumbing issues mainly due to clogged pipes from other units. Otherwise it was very nice.

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Pros: The rental was clean, had been nicely renovated, and was located in a quiet spot close to the pool. Check in was easy and the surrounding tenants were wonderful.Cons:we were there for Hawaii’s worst storm in 70 years and without power for 36 hours and no one from the rental agency reached out. Luckily the tenants and manager Marlene were wonderful and helped us throughout our stay. There are no basics such as salt, pepper, or shampoo and the sofa bed is not comfortable but if you’re a couple or a couple with an infant sleeping in a pack’n’play this space would be good.

Kitchen was exactly how it is pictured on the website. It was very clean with plenty of utensils and dishes. Only suggestion would be a pizza cutter Entry to property is very secure and grounds are well maintained. There seemed to be a resident cat as well who was friendly from a distance Location is great on the north shore as we went back and forth between Sharks Cove and Laie.

Turtle Bay Area Stay

Would stay here again for sure. Clean and great for my wife and I. We had a rental car while kn the north shore and this was a quick drive to great places. A quick walk to the resort area too for sunsets! Great place.

The place was clean. We had an issue where the keypad on the door locked us out and wouldn't work. It was afterhours (on a Saturday) and never got in touch with the host. The security at the complex couldn't help out and it was only when we asked a cleaning person that was next door if she knew how to contact someone that the code again worked. No response to my email that I sent or call to the afterhours was ever received. The only suggestion would be the mattress was a little too soft and it may be a good idea to invest in a new mattress.

Turtle Bay Adventures

We loved the location close to the Ritz Carlton Turtle Bay, golf, horseback riding, and the beach. It was nice to not have to drive too far. Easy drive to the grocery store and we even went to a movie while we were here.

Good location

The location was good for 4 days on the North Shore. The beach was farther away than the listing suggests which meant driving. Great food trucks nearby but grocery store is a bit farther so stock up before you arrive.

Great place, near pristine nature

We had a great stay. The apartment is clean, nicely furnished. The area is nicely landscaped. The nature around the area is beautiful. There are nice hiking trails, beautiful beaches… Turtle bay resort is also walking distance, guests can shop at the hotel cafes/restaurants etc.

North Shore Gem

The Turtle Bay condo is a terrific property and its location is ideal. Close to just about any North Shore beach, including idyllic spots right in Turtle Bay. The condo is well kept, a great size, and has everything you need for a great getaway! We would definitely stay there again!!!

The property itself #125 in Kuilima Estates was very nice and in a great location. The home was comfortable and well situated.However, there were a few issues that made our visit more frustrating than expected. The listing mentioned that soap would only be provided for a few days, but there was no laundry detergent and no dishwasher detergent at all, so we had to purchase laundry soap for one load. In addition, there were no basic condiments or supplies that are typically found at a VRBO—no sugar for coffee, no salt, and no oil for cooking. There were also no measuring cups or spoons, which made even simple things like making coffee more difficult. It was obvious that the owners did no want you cooking at all, so if you plan to cook, be prepared to buy the essentials, or pick another one of these units.For a short stay in Hawaii, having to travel 40 minutes to go out and buy all of these items adds up quickly and becomes quite expensive. While the property itself was lovely, better stocking of basic essentials would have made the experience much more comfortable and guest-friendly.

Had a blast!

I had so much fun staying in the Kuilima Estates. The property was nice and our room had a pretty view of the golf course. Communication with the property manager was inconsistent, as I had to sign a document with the information of the people staying here and did not hear back but overall I had a great time. Would stay here again.

I would add better beach chairs and umbrella, but everything else is perfect. I will be back next year and I do recommend to everyone. It feels like home!

January Trip to Turtle Bay

Nice and clean. Nice view of the golf course. 7-8 walk to Turtle Bay resort. Kitchen poorly equipped for cooking if that's your plan. Beach chairs, Towels, and umbrellas severally lacking. For a beach condo, that needs immediate improvement. Would also be nice if rental company provided small shampoos like most do these days.

Five stars for cuteness, cleanliness and amenities. Great kitchen with everything you need to cook - not your usual holiday rental kitchen. Also loved the little touches like beach towels, tote bag, dishwashing liquid etc. The complex is walking distance to the Ritz Carlton Turtle Bay report, as well as the beach (across the golf course), and an easy drive to Waimea Bay, Sunset Beach, and so on. (Good to know: only the bedroom has AC and it doesn’t really make it to the kitchen/dining area. I would also like to make a constructive suggestion: blockout curtains. The sofa bed in the lounge room is quite comfy but the room is in broad daylight by 6 am because the current white curtains let all the light in. A cheap set of no-sew blockout curtains from IKEA would do the trick - same in the bedroom - for those of us who like to sleep in on holidays!) But otherwise, really lovely - thank you for having us. Recommend!

Turtle Bay condo - run of the mill

This review is not: discriminatory, inflammatory, offensive, or insulting comments. There is no reason not to post this:After staying at three different locations on the islands, we found this condo to be run of the mill at best. The fact that there was not an extra roll of paper towels, no coffee, sugar, creamer, laundry, pods, all of which were available at our other locations through VRBO . It seems the condo association manages this as a bare bones minimum. our Christmas Eve meal at the resort was overly expensive 700 for three people and was not nearly as good as other restaurants that were half the price at other restaurants throughout the islands.

A few suggestions for the owner

Overall, it was a good stay but would have like to know the following in the listing: 1. It is a 10-minute walk to the beach not a 1-minute walk. 2. It is low on amenities. It had 3 small towels for the beach and 2 dated, folding lawn chairs, not beach chairs. 3. Bring your own soap as the tiny bars provided last only a day. 4. A window mounted A/C unit in the bedroom only. The remainder of the unit has no A/C. 5. The dishwasher did not work. 6. The queen bed mattress is very dated and needs replacing. I guess I would suggest a few updates on the unit. One of the selling points from the listing was that it stated it was a 1-minute walk to the beach. We were a little disappointed it wasn't so.
