Just 2-hours door-to-door from Chicago, newly renovated OllieWood is one of 10 original historic properties left in the historic Glenn Township (known as Pancake Town USA – check it out on Wikipedia!) of Fennville on the Michigan coastline. Sitting on one acre, it is just 10 mins to hotspots Saugatuck and South Haven (directly between), very close to many wineries and breweries, restaurants, shops, a 10-min walk to Glenn Beach, and a 10-min drive to some of the most popular beaches on Lake Michigan including Oval Beach, Douglas Beach, Pier Cove, North Beach & South Beach.

A 3 bed/3.5 bath oasis with new furniture, a gym looking at one of the most breathtaking backyards, it gives modernized Gatsby charm with stunning sunsets, a firepit, 2 pergolas, games, a pond, and pristine landscaping.

On the inside, the house features original hardwood and wood-burning fireplace, all new furniture and beds, renovated bathrooms, USB-C plugs, a full gym that includes a Peloton, full set of weights, weight bench, yoga mats, TV, and other workout equipment. And there is a new Zen Garden featuring yoga platforms for those of you that want to get your meditation and yoga on!

This was such a cute home. I almost never leave reviews but had to for this one! I really appreciated that there were so many things accessible in the kitchen and dining room. We had a great family meal around the dining room table. It was a beautiful and cozy home!

My husband were in awe at the house and the decor. The home was beautifully finished and very cozy. With a wood burning fireplace, full kitchen, comfy beds, and a beautiful yard, it was home away from home.

The house is vintage and charmingly decorated, especially the living room. Kitchen and baths have been updated / modernized. It was very clean; and the kitchen itself was very functional. The street and neighborhood don’t look like much, but the location is very convenient to Saugatuck and even South Haven and various beaches. 2 items which “could have been better”: 1) it was very warm weather and the upstairs AC’s were only operational in 2 bedrooms. Hallways and baths were warm. 2) the yard was spacious but somewhat overgrown and not as neat and manicured as in the photos. Hosts were very nice, welcoming, and communicative.

Wonderful place for a family gathering.

We stayed here with our adult children and grandchildren. Each family appreciated having their own bedroom, and it was nice to have so many bathrooms. It was a short drive to the South Haven beach, the Saugatuck state park and restaurants. The children loved the frog pond and seeing deer in the field. The house was comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, lots of places to sit, relax and eat meals together. We would all enjoy staying here again.

Property and house are wonderful. The house was nicely updated without loosing the charm of an older home. Outside is great with a firepit. Would love to see it in the spring/summer with flowers blooming. Will definitely have to come back when we can stay longer. House is located short distance from South Haven, Sauatuck and Fennville.

Fantastic stay for Labor Day weekend. 3 couples. Hosts were so communicative and provided too notch hospitality. Beautiful backyard space, vintage and cozy home. Walking to a small store plus a great little dinner spot. Easy driven into South Haven and Saugatuck

Classy country comfort

Beautifully decorated and generously appointed home. Situated on an acre lot with beautiful mature trees and bountiful perennials. Situated right between Saugatuck and Southhaven. Lots of opportunities for beaches and restaurants. Our family loved the koi pond and frogs! We were impressed with the decor. Well appointed kitchen. Lots of space for individual or group activities. Thank you for a wonderful vacation.

Stylish home with gorgeous trees

We had a short but great visit to this stylish, well appointed home. It has a beautiful weeping willow tree out back. The hosts were very responsive. Highly recommended!

My only complaint is that I didn’t stay longer! The house was so charming and beautiful, with a short drive into Saugatuck for the beach, dining, and nightlife. Communication with the host was great, and any and all questions were answered almost immediately. The amenities were fantastic- we had everything we could have possibly needed and more to feel comfortable in our stay. One thing I appreciated most was the quick and easy list of checkout requirements. I absolutely plan to go back and stay again!

We are a Chicago couple who loves to travel and have been renting spaces for many years around the world. One of our favorite places is the Michigan coastline, especially Saugatuck and South Haven. So we decided to buy this amazing property and curate it with all of our experience to make the perfect spot for you and yours.

Literally half way between Saugatuck and South Haven, this property is central to everything in this area, one of the most popular areas on the Michigan coastline and outside of Chicago. Its proximity to Chicago is so convenient and the beauty is outstanding.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

This is a newly renovated 1901 historic property that has kept its original 1920's charm with a modern twist. It offers amazing privacy in the backyard. There are 3 bedrooms (new beds), 3 full and one ½ baths (all newly renovated with rain showers).

Walk the beautiful Lake Michigan shore and beach sporting some of the most scenic views in the entire country. There is nothing like the pure Michigan coast to restore your soul and relax the mind. Then head into Saugatuck for what is known as some of the best shopping and arts in the region. The area is especially known for antiques but there are amazing clothing, crafts, décor and other boutiques in town. After that, enjoy Saugatuck’s thriving restaurant and bar scene in one of the most idyllic coastal cities in Michigan. Or head south 10 mins to another top beach town with more great restaurants, bars, shopping and family activities in South Haven. You are right smack in the middle of these vibrant towns.

And if you feel like staying in, enjoy cocktails and food in the beautifully manicured and flowered gardens featuring a massive firepit, two pergolas, a pond, barn and some of the most stunning sunsets over the lake. If you want a covered experience park it in the rocking chairs in the wrap around screened-in porch! Oh, and that big Willow tree you see in the backyard – her name is Madame Olivia and she is the oldest in Allegan County! We’ve got cornhole, games, as well as picnic supplies too!

The property is just steps away from The Glenn Store, which has any supplies you need and serves pizza and sandwiches, which have been ranked top 10 in the state! No lie, this stuff is GOOD, ya’ll. And head over to The Creekside Kitchen serving great food, just steps away.

We also provide grocery services if you would like your fridge stocked ahead of time. Just let us know and we can arrange it. The same goes for babysitting. We will just need to know ahead of time. Welcome to the comforts of OllieWood!
