We stayed here for three nights with a larger group and really enjoyed the location. It’s within walking distance of coffee shops and stores and is also very close to Mount Rainier. The dogs had a great time running around in the large yard, and the Bar-Cade area provided plenty of entertainment that everyone enjoyed. If you’re planning to explore the mountains, dine out, and relax with some on-site entertainment, this is a great place to stay. For larger groups hoping to cook together and enjoy family-style meals, the small kitchen can be challenging. We had to transfer food to the bunkhouse in order to eat together comfortably. The bunkhouse would benefit from improved ventilation. It gets very hot, and although there is an air conditioner, it is quite loud and does not cool the room effectively, which made sleeping difficult. The limited ventilation also seemed to affect the freshness of the bed sheets and towels. Additionally, the bunkhouse bathroom is very small, especially when the space is being fully utilized by a larger group. Finally, the listing’s statement about having no hidden fees could be clearer. If the intention is to charge 150 per pet, that fee should be explicitly disclosed upfront so guests are not surprised by an additional charge after booking.
