This was the perfect home for our large group. The number of bedrooms and bathrooms meant we could spread out and relax, without being on top of each other. The house was incredibly well stocked with dishes, towels, and everything we needed to be comfortable. It was also fresh, modern, and decorated well. The house was in a clean neighborhood, steps away from the bus stop, with groceries and restaurants nearby. Perhaps one of the best parts of our stay was the attentiveness of the hosts. They were attentive to our needs, very quick to respond, and always polite and friendly. We would definitely stay her again.

We had a group of friends and family stay together for a long weekend. The location is ideal for visiting the national parks and an NFL game. There were 16 of us and found there was plenty of room to be together in the main kitchen/living area. The home is a little short of enough dishes to all eat together at the same time.

We traveled to this home for a 6th grade class trip to DC. The home is lovely. I wish it were a little closer to a Metro Station, but there was plenty of space for everyone. The property has kuerig for coffee, so some parents would have preferred to be able to make a whole pot of coffee. The backdoor's key code did not work, which the owner warned us of day 1 was a minor inconvenience at night. But overall, no major complaints, and the teacher said they will keep this property in mind for future 6th grade DC trips.

Hi Beverly, We’re glad you enjoyed your stay. Just to clarify- there are 2 towel racks on every door in all 5 of the full bathrooms, and we provide two body towels and washcloths per guest. The kitchen is also stocked with three rolls of complementary paper towels for each stay. We do our best to make sure every guest has what they need, and it’s disappointing to see a 4-star review based on towel racks when everything else met expectations. We truly appreciate your input and will continue to look for ways to make our guests’ experience even better. Thank you for staying with us.

Very nice stay.

It was a very comfortable property. It is newly remodeled and quite nice. The hosts were great--very responsive and helpful. A few things weren't quite ready when we arrived, but they were quickly taken care of once we informed the hosts. We didn't have vehicles, so our group used a combination of Uber and public transportation. This place is within 5-10 minutes of several bus stops, one of which takes you directly to the National Mall (#36) in about 30-35 minutes. The grocery stores that we found are about a 20-30 minute walk.

Beautiful Home with lots of hang out space!

We had a great stay in this newly remodeled home. Everything was so clean and well-decorated. We stayed with other families and each family had enough room without feeling cramped. Our kids all stayed on the top floor in the bunk beds, which was a hit. There are several rooms designed for hanging out, which was a plus as well. With several families, it was very nice to have a bathroom for each. As I mentioned, we never felt cramped in this very spacious house. The hosts were very sweet and made sure we had everything we needed. It's about a 4 minute easy drive to the metro. I'd recommend this house to anyone headed to the D.C. area!

Hi Friend! I’m Meka, I’ve lived in D.C. for almost 5 years now and I have truly fallen in love with this city. My husband and I are fluent in the best DC brunches and happy hours throughout the town. Planning a trip to the DMV? I’d be happy to plan an itinerary for you and your guests FREE of charge. Providing an experience for others is something I am truly passionate about. I hope to host you in the future so you can love DC as much as I do!

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

This neighborhood has a city location with a suburb vibe. Not overly busy and not too quiet. Hillcrest offers a convenience to all the major attractions DC has to offer

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

My property can host all your friends or family in ONE single location. Don’t worry about coordinating hotels, our home is a one stop shop. How many homes in Washington DC can you say have a front AND backyard with private off street parking? Most likely less than 10 in the entire city. Convenience and comfort are our number one priority for guests.

We hope to host you!
