We enjoyed the house; great floor plan and everything was as described. Communication with the host was simple; John responds quickly to inquiries. We plan to return to this property in the future.

L'escapade

We loved our stay at the L'escapade. It was centrally located in Lincoln City to the beach, outlets, restaurants, and casino. The house was very clean and the beds were so comfortable. The layout of the home was nice for our large family to spread out. It was a plus having three full bathrooms for everyone to get ready. We would definitely like to rent the home again!! Thanks!!

Great Location

John was very easy to communicate with, super responsive with everything. We did encounter a few issues upon arrival like the garbage outside over flowing but that was not his fault. The house had a perfect layout for our family. The rooms are spacious.The game room was used everyday. We enjoyed the hot tub & used both fire pits to make smores. The balcony off the master room has an awesome view of the ocean. It was super convenient to have the Mexican market next door to buy meat to bbq & drinks & snacks. The beach access is a quick 6 minute walk. The house is in a central location so it was super easy to get to casino, outlet mall, grocery stores. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Fabulous Lincoln city stay

We celebrated Thanksgiving here. It was a great centeral spot for the family. Wonderful place. Very new. Excellent floor plan, really great space. Furniture was comfortable. Beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. All around fantastic space and the host was excellent about returning emails.

Great home away from home

We had our family of 10 stay. 6 adults and 4 kids under 9. The house was great for our stay and the play room was used everyday! The house is located in walking distance to the beach access and was an easy stroll even got the young ones. Comfortable beds and all really clean and tidy. We would love to come back. Great stay!

The property was very nice. It was just a 5 minute walk to the beach and was close to many other shops. The hot tub and the gas firepit were excellent. The bedrooms and bathrooms met the requirements of the 11 of us. The game room was used extensively. The large TVs in each bedroom were a nice touch. The street in front of the property was pretty quiet. The kitchen appliances were all pretty new and worked well, along with some nice extras (large size griddle, belgin waffle maker, drip coffee maker, espresso maker, and keurig). Since we had an infant with us, the highchair and infant seat were really appreciated. It would have been nice to have had a few more hot cups (there were only 6 cups and there were 10 adults and one teen ager with us) and possibly a few more glasses, bowls and plates. All in all we had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed our time at this location

Fantastic newly built house with all the right spaces for our group of three families (3 adults, 8 kids/teens). Game room and hot tub were great and the kitchen and living room had more than enough space for everyone. The bunk room has a twin on top, full on bottom, and a twin trundle. Technically good for four but realistically only fit three of our bigger kids. Kitchen was well-stocked with utensils, bakeware, spices, teas and Keurig pods (there is a Keurig and espresso maker). Only thing lacking was enough dishes, mugs, glasses and bath towels. There were exactly 11-12 dinner plates and glasses, and only 6 mugs, so we had to wash dishes after every meal to have enough for the next. We also could have used a couple extra bath towels in each bathroom. Other than that, the location was excellent (a 5-min walk to the beach, though you do have to cross 101), and although we had to call to chase down check-in info, the owner was nice and quick to respond. We would return!

The good, the bad and the ugly

The good;The location is great, close to Lincoln beach, close to food, central on the all the coastal areas so driving isn't too bad up and down the coast. The playroom is awesome and all the kids loved it, great for a time killer at the house. The deck was great for the July 4th fireworks. The bedrooms and beds worked out for everyone, the great room couch was awesome for late night movies. Kitchen is big and great.The bad;No contact for house info. I had to ask a few hours before to get the door code. No electronic locks, a single key in a box for the deadbolt. No house info for the Wi-Fi. This is the first VRBO house I rented for a long time, so not having soap, shampoo might be normal. We own 20 houses on Airbnb, and for Airbnb, this is not a normal thing.The ugly;Day one, we left for the coast to spend the day on the beach. While we were gone, the owner or prop manager came into the house.... super creepy to do so without any communication. There were packages from Amazon opened on the kitchen counter that were for the house. One of the packages were knobs for the grill, which we were grateful for because there were none. The grill was located on the outside of the house and they didn't need access while we were there for that, again creepy that someone was going through the house while we weren't there. All the girls staying at the house were uncomfortable the rest of the stay.5 stars if we had some contact, bathroom items and no one creeping around.
