Kestrel - Best location in Nassau, Kestrel Bahamas Vacation Rental

Located at the top of a detached residence, Kestrel, an elegant airconditioned 309 square-foot rental unit with its private entrance, consists of a 209 square-foot bedroom, a bathroom, and a kitchen. The residence is seated on a well-maintained landscape.

A Kwikset keypad makes checking-in a breeze. Guests' safety is assured by a well-illuminated entrance and the installation of carbon monoxide/smoke detectors, and fire extinguisher. Private parking is available next to the staircase leading to the apartment.

The coastal-themed decorated bedroom consists of a comfortable queen-size bed with side tables, two armchairs, a closet with hangers at the top with middle drawers and large cubicles at the bottom, a chest of drawers, a workstation with a chair, and a smart HD Fire TV. In the Amenities closet, guests are supplied with extra linen and towels, beach chairs and umbrellas and blanket, iron and ironing board, First-Aid kit, grocery and laundry bags, regular umbrellas, and extra luggage rack. A drying rack for clothing is also available in the hallway. Two six-outlet power strips with 4 USB ports, placed at the bed head will accommodate devices from the US, UK, EU, and most power adapters. A colorful,large area rug adds comfort to the feet.

A fully equipped kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals. A bathroom stocked with all the necessities will keep packing personal items to a minimum.
Your host offers free laundry service to guests with a 7-day maximum stay.
Public transit is available all along West Bay Street. Guests may walk to the beach, restaurants, and all other commercial establishments which are nearby. On top of that, they may treat themselves at Baha Mar restaurants, Baha Bay water park, and the Bond Club.

Terrific location - walking distance to restaurants, grocery store, Starbucks, Cable Beach, jitney stops, Baha Mar, etc. Annick and Barrington were very gracious hosts who greeted us upon arrival and kindly gave us all the privacy we needed. Have stayed in many, many online vacation rentals, but have never had a cleaner and better-appointed apartment: in addition to all the kitchen, bedroom and bathroom essentials, it had many "bonuses:" a computer, beach chairs, beach umbrellas, beach towels, rain umbrellas, etc. Bed and pillows were exceptionally comfortable and the air conditioners were efficient and quiet. Entrance deck was a really nice place for a relaxing morning coffee.To be fair, a couple of very minor disappointments: 1) "washer" and "dryer" were listed among the amenities but were nonexistent (we would have packed differently as "laundry service," even free, is not really our thing). 2) Hot-water supply is very limited, resulting in very, very short showers. All in all, these were very minor drawbacks, given all the positives - and not nearly enough to rate Kestrel anything less than "5 stars."

“The Great Escape”

Our vacation at Kestrel’s was very peaceful, relaxing and enjoyable experience. The property was located in a beautiful, quiet neighborhood with palm trees and beautiful flowers. The registration went smoothly from having transfers arranged, a House Manual with important information on house rules, activities, restaurants, grocery stores and beaches in the area.The hosts Annick and Barrington greeted us when we arrived to answer questions and made sure there was water, cooking essentials and much more. Annick and Barrington were “Super Hosts” who went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and to make our stay at Kestrel’s very welcoming. They also responded to our questions very promptly. We look forward to coming again.

Wonderful place with everything we needed

Annick’s place was so very nice! It was beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. The bed was incredibly comfortable as well. We were able to easily walk to everything we needed. Annick’s attention to the little details was so nice. Everything was clean and new. Her communication was excellent! She even did our laundry for us! She and her husband drove us around to show us the area after our arrival, and Annick also connected us with Juliet, a kind lady who drove us from the airport to Annick’s place.

Nice Cable Beach apartment

We really enjoyed our stay at this apartment in the Cable Beach area! Very convenient location to catch the public bus downtown and go to the beach. Annick and her husband were awesome hosts! They greeted us when we arrived and even gave us a tour around the west side of the island! Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing stay

We were pleasantly surprised to discover that Annick’s place has it all. Fantastic location , one block from the Sandaĺs beach, 15 min walk to Baha Mar beach. Restaurants and other shops are also super close. The appartment is very comfortable, tastefully decorated with all imaginable amenities. We were sad to leave. Our hosts were helpful, flexible and very friendly! Thank you for everything. We highly recommend your place!

Wonderful stay near the beach

Beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed to make our stay feel like home. The hosts are so helpful and friendly, and we appreciated the great communication. The separate kitchen with all the appliances required for cooking, as well as some extras like spices, condiments, and coffee were greatly appreciated. Great location convenient to beaches, groceries, and restaurants.

THIS PLACE WAS AMAZING!

Annick was very responsive from the very first message I sent to her (months b4)up to the last. She arranged for a fishing trip for us, a tour with an amazing local and pick up to and from the airport. She and her husband were very nice. The place was very cute and clean. We walked to Starbucks and to eat breakfast and dinner. They're are alot of places waking distance. You can also walk to the beach. Itwas very close. I will stay here again if/when we go back to the Bahamas.

Hosts were very welcoming and communication excellent. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. Very nicely decorated. They will even hook you up with a wondering lady to pick you up at the airport and take you on an island tour if you like. Highly recommend!

This property is perfect for two people. It’s all you need, walking distance to grocery store, multiple restaurants, cable beach and the bus stop. You can take the bus (jitney) anywhere far you need to go for only $1.50 (USD) per person and it’s super easy to use. We were connected with a local to pick us up from the airport and bring us back, so there was no need to rent a car!

All of this travel exposure and her work in the tourism sector as director of training at Atlantis has shaped her understanding of visitors' needs, and she enjoys interacting with guests while letting them take the lead on how much interaction they wish to have. Her focus is to help guests have a hassle-free stay at Kestrel. She is particularly happy to give a walking tour of the neighborhood to guests who are up for it. Guests may expect to receive an invitation to participate in our family Christmas dinner.

Our beautiful coastal and touristic neighborhood is made for the enjoyment of visitors to The Bahamas with its stretch of sandy beaches, turquoise ocean water, stunning sunsets over the ocean, more than 15 local restaurants, the entertainment and phletora of eating venues available at Baha Mar resort and Sandals Royal Bahamian Hotel, public transit, medical/health support, grocery stores, shopping plazas, etc. Locals and tourists flock the area and patronize the restaurants and night-life entertainment. As my favorite exercise is swimming, access to the beach tops the list of my preference for my neighborhood.
