We had a lovely stay at Solaris! It was perfect for our group of 10, and we loved being right on the beach. Cheryl and the team took great care of us, and we appreciated all the good food, recommendations, and housekeeping. Would recommend and looking forward to hopefully returning to Barbados soon.

Amazing place with amazing staff

Absolutely beautiful beachfront location. The pool was nice. The hot tub always steaming hot. All the rooms are very spacious, and the outdoor living area is the best! Cheryl is an absolute saint and amazing chef!

75th Birthday Celebration with Family

The property was very beautiful. The beach entrance was a little challenging, it was not as pictured. The service from the onsite staff was excellent. Overall, it was a great trip!

Stay in Barbados

We stayed at the property as a family of six for a holiday which Inc, returning to the island for a family event. The Villa has a lovely location.. it is a beautiful villa. We had a couple of issues at the villa which were swiftly dealt with. Would highly recommend to others and hope to visit the villa again .

Exceptional!

We cannot rave enough about Villa Solaris and what a fabulous week we had! From the initial booking until the minute we had to (sadly) leave, we were thoroughly pampered. Our concierge, Tricia, planned the most amazing meals for us and hooked us up with a super fun and accommodating driver (David!) for the week. The villa staff kept everything spotless without ever being intrusive, and they were so sweet! But Cheryl, the chef and house manager was the highlight for us. A true angel on earth, we already miss her. Barbados is a beautiful island with the friendliest people and Solaris was the perfect home base to enjoy it all. We (5 couples fromCalifornia) will definitely be back!!

Truly Unforgettable!

Our stay at the Solaris Beach House was truly unforgettable. The property matched the photos—beautiful, spacious, and perfectly maintained. Ms. Cheryl and her team were amazing—warm, attentive, and her cooking was phenomenal (especially the Barbados-seasoned baked/fried chicken!). The home made our time of fellowship and celebration with friends even more special. It was worth every penny. Anytime we had a need, assistance was just a call away. A fun bonus was the Sonos Bluetooth speakers, which let everyone enjoy their favorite music with ease. I highly recommend this home—it will elevate your entire Barbados experience.

Best Girls Trip Ever

This house was perfect for us, great spot on the beach and Cheryl and the ladies were a delight! Great food, rum punch and attentive to every need. They made you want to return to the house for another vacay for sure. Tricia with the property management team was great, arranged everything for us from restaurants, transportation and fun things to do, all with personal touches. Thanks so much, would love to come back again!

Fantastic relaxing holiday-would definitely like to go again

The house was immaculate, he setting picture perfect and our housekeeper, Cheryl, an absolute delight. From arriving in Barbados to sadly leaving we had a fantastic stay and would thoroughly recommend Camden Nook asa place to stay. Easy access to Hometown and Speightstown, wonderful restaurants nearby and a beach at the "bottom of the garden".

We had a wonderful time at Solaris. The property is as beautiful as it seems in the pictures. The View restaurant located about 5 minutes by car from the property was lovely. There is a wonderful public beach an easy 5 minute walk from the house. All the staff were terrific

Just Perfect . . .

Only stayed here for a week having been at another property for the previous 2, and my only regret is we didn't choose to stay at Solaris for longer. We absolutely loved it here - contemporary, brilliant location, well equipped, great hosts. Genuinely couldn't have asked for more, and we will start saving straightaway for next year!

Veachfront Perfection!

We were the first guests at the newly renovated Solaris Beach House and were wowed by this property. It is even better than the pics and the housekeeper, Cheryl, is a treasure. Any need or want you can think of will be satisfied to perfection. It is such a relaxing place but close to great shopping, restaurants, and unexpectedly marvelous grocery store, Massy's. You will not be disappointed at Solaris Beach House and we will return.

Solaris Holiday

Solaris is an awesome property, even more beautiful than captured in the on-ine pictures. Cheryl and her staff took wonderful care of us. (Ask Cheryl to make you some rum punch, or Bajun fish cakes, or to fry up some red snapper!) The property is convenient to Speightstown, other local shopping and Oistin's if your are inclined for some night life. But the home and grounds are so comfortable there is really no reason to do anything but kick back, and enjoy the beach and the sun (and Cheryl's rum punch!)

Platinum Coast Dream House

My family loved this home in Weston. It is spacious, the beds are comfortable and the location is accesible and easy to find. The backyard is gorgeous and feels out of a movie and it was lovely to be right on the water. The one downside is the gate and steps leading to the beach are quite worn and could use a refresh, however, that it to be expected of salt water exposure. As wonderful as the home is, Cheryl, the chef and housekeeper, is the true gem of the rental. Her cooking is only outdone by her warmth and kindness.

Sure, I'd love to! Here's my funny house review: "WOW, you won't believe this house! It's so amazing, it's like living in a real-life emoji castle! 🏰 The rooms are so spacious, you could host a dance party in the bathroom! 💃🚽 And the backyard? It's like a mini amusement park with a roller coaster and a popcorn stand! 🎢🍿 Honestly, this house is so awesome, it should come with a warning label: 'Warning: May cause extreme happiness and uncontrollable joy!' 😂🎉"

Stunning Property

This is a truly lovely property with amazing outdoor space. While it is considered beachfront, the tide doesn’t allow for access much of the day. We didn’t intend to use the hot tub, but it was located in the perfect spot and was not heated, so it was very comfortable all times of the day. The openness of the living space made it ideal for being outside all day and evening without being in the direct sun. We didn’t ever use the indoor living room. Property concierge was fantastic, as well as the housekeeper. Would definitely return.

A Barbados Beauty

Thank you for an amazing stay. Our family had a wonderful time. Cheryl is a gem, and we will truly miss her. Sadly the time flew by, but we definitely look forward to visiting again. I would highly recommend this property to any of my family and friends. On a side note… Nikita is also very sweet, but a little young and inexperienced for a villa of your standard. There were a few days that were hard to contact her. On our day of departure, she brought I believe to be the owners nieces to the villa to be show them around. We found it a bit awkward trying to settle up our stay while having them hovering about. It would have been more professional if she had brought them after we had checked out. All in all, we felt blessed being able to stay at your residence, and enjoy the kind and generous people of Barbados. Thank you again!

Blue Ocean, Fish, and Rum..oh my!

Overall, my family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Camden Nook. The location was magnificent- with the ocean at our backdoor and a local fish market and Rum bar just steps away. Our children enjoyed the many nearby beaches- all with beautiful, white sand and warm, blue water. Camdem Nook was well appointed and was suitable for the family. Melinda, the house "assistant" was also wonderful. The only constructive criticism we have is that there were some items at the home that need attention and, had they been corrected, it would have given us an overall better experience. The main one is the hot tub, which was inoperable the entire week- none-the-less, it was still advertised as a nice feature of the property. Other small things like fallen down landscaping lights and general "quality" of the home. Nothing major...we could simply tell this was a rental property and not one's primary residence. Again, this property and location worked for our family and we came away with a wonderful Barbados vacation experience and memories that will last a lifetime. Thank you for the accommodations!

Enjoyable Stay but a few corrections to the listing.

We liked the house - in particular a beautiful outdoor seating area. The kitchen was very serviceable and the bedrooms were fantastic. I was surprised that only the bedrooms have A/C so it made cooking a bit of a hot experience. Also the sand had washed away from the beach making it inaccessible. We are told the sand comes back in the winter season. The place was clean. The cleaning lady is there for 4-5 hours every day but is an extremely nice and helpful person. The caretaker does not live on site but was readily available to answer all of our questions by phone. Zaccio's Pizza delivers and is great. Shop at Popular for best food prices. Cooking at home saved us lots of money. We went diving with West Side Scuba and it was fantastic. Don't miss. I would recommend this property to certain people but was really hoping for beach access (the reason I rented this) and didn't get it so my 92 year old father could go out on the beach. I think the listing needs to be changed to reflect this problem.

The most wonderful stay at this beautiful villa

From the moment we arrived and were greeted by the House Keeper Cheryl to the moment we left we loved every single minute. The house is just as beautiful as the images online show if not even more so. The bedrooms are light and airy with fantastic air conditioning, the fully equipped kitchen is perfect and looks out on the spectacular view over the Caribbean Sea. Then the outside living area is just fabulous, there are so many areas to sit and enjoy the view, whether it be at the bar, the the hot tub and chilling in the sofa area. The location of the villa is perfect, the local beach, Reeds Bay is great for swimming and has a beautiful sandy beach. The villa is a great location for foodies, just a short drive to Lonestar and Seashed, as well as many of the other mut visit restaurants. We would have absolutely no doubt in booking this villa again, it is simply paradise and the perfect getaway location. Thanks again! The Grayson's x

A perfect family holiday

The villa is in a ideal location for swimming off the beach at the bottom of the garden., and for visiting John Moores rum bar !! It is very modern , a great sonos sounds system very comfy beds , big bbq , and has the wow this is amazing factor. I loved sitting in the outdoor seating area listening to the sounds of the sea. Thank you Nick for being so helpful and Cheryl is a gem of a housekeeper , it was our first visit to Barbados and we absolutely loved it.

Celia and Nick together with her family they fell in love with the island of Barbados in the early 2000's. We have a great love affair with the island and it is the first place we all loved to be together, with its great climate, restaurants and beaches.

Solaris is midway between Holetown and Spietstown on the West Coast of Barbados. With great restaurants such as The Lone Star and the Sea Shed only minutes away and the facilities of Holetown a maximum of a ten-minute drive, who could ask for more? Nothing you need is far away, and yet it feels so private.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Designed to be bright and airy, Solaris emphasises outdoor living. When we designed the house, we wanted the bring the inside out and do away with conventional living spaces. The villa exudes positive energy, with the entire area being usable. It is such a delightful place to spend time. It is so relaxing. We often only go as far as the beach for days.
