A recently renovated cozy Midcentury Modern home nestled on a hill top in Historic Chester Springs. Featuring a gourmet kitchen, multiple living room areas, air hockey table, master bedroom has a private balcony, living room has a patio with grill and Koi pond. family room has an additional porch with seating area. 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. Walking distance to the village of yellow springs, Byyn Coed Nature Preserve. Minutes from many wonderful restaurants and shopping.

We are dog friendly and welcome your furry companions!

All beds complete with linens, bathrooms include towels, soap/shampoo.

Recently updated , air conditioning/heating, wood stove and a pellet stove for those chilly evenings, ample parking. Located .75 miles from the Village of Yellow Springs, 11 miles from Valley Forge, 35 miles from Philadelphia, 10 miles from the Greater Philadelphia Expo Center. We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is wonderful. Even though there are other properties nearby, it still felt secluded and quiet. The house was clean, well equipped and comfortable. I wish we could've stayed longer

House wasn't clean, kitchen ill-equipped: burned toaster (asked for replacement) peeling teflon on pots and pans (asked for replacement), heavy burned wood smell from fireplaces, uneven heating with heat pumps in every room with no instructions how to use, one closet not usable, their stuff stored in a jumbled mess in other closets. Extremely steep driveway.

We’ve never had such rude, harassing guests in all our years. The house was extremely clean upon arrival- though the guest complained about pretty much everything- cleanliness was never something they mentioned to us or VRBO. These guests destroyed our home- they left urine and feces all over. They caused thousands of dollars worth of damages from ruining carpets, curtains, furniture, and tampering with equipment such as heating and our icemaker. We asked them to leave on day 1 of their stay as it became immediately apparent why they only had 1 review which is 1 star. Future hosts should surely pay attention to these ratings. We reached out to VRBO and this guest on day 1 as we could instantly tell these guests would treat us and our home poorly and they REFUSED to leave. The description of our home clearly states that we have a steep driveway and wood burning stove…guests must not have read anything about the home description. Also, every closet, as well as every dresser in the home is completely empty for guest use, except for our locked linen closet which guests don’t have access to. They demanded that we buy them a new toaster and new pans as they threw 2 of ours away, but once the items were delivered they demanded new pots for no valid reason. Cleaning fees were excessive after their stay and we have so many items that now need to be replaced (some of with are irreplaceable.) Floors even had piles of feces when we went over (many times) to teach guests how to use heat.

Stephanie and Leigh are great hosts! They were easy to communicate with and very accommodating. We stayed for 3 weeks during some home renovations and would highly recommend to anyone in need of a place to stay in the area.

Everything worked great with the exception of the Wifi which we were unable to even detect on our devices. We were able to use our phones as hotspots so there was no issue. Otherwise a fantastic stay!

Beautiful setting

We had our wedding at the Washington about a mile away. Our out of town family stayed here. And they loved it! Leigh and Stephanie are great hosts, and had everything you could possibly need! The house is very clean! The setting is beautiful surrounded by woods and very orivaye but close enough if you need to run out to get anything.Would highly recommend staying here!

Great New Years Retreat!

The Chalet was exactly what we needed for a quiet New Years vacation; a beautiful house in a wooded neighborhood with lots of different spaces to hang out and play, rest and the perfect kitchen to cook in! The kids (and adults) loved the air hockey table and all of the games to play around the house. We will be back!!

This vacation rental in Chester Springs is comfortable and in a peaceful and quaint community. We loved being surrounded by woods. My family enjoyed having room to spread out in this vacation home and the layout of the Great Room with a gorgeous kitchen, dining area with plenty of seating, and the comfy living room furniture. The recreation room in the basement is a great hang out space and there are plenty of games to choose from. We really appreciated all the special touches that went above and beyond our expectations. The lights were even turned on for us because we came in late after an amazing concert in Philadelphia. We truly felt at home in this vacation rental. This is a great place to stay and there is so much to see and do in the vicinity!

Quiet and Relaxing

We enjoyed seeing wildlife in the area. We went hiking along the nearby nature trail and took lots of pictures of butterflies and plants. The kids enjoyed playing the games and seeing the koi fish. We visited Sight and Sound Theater in Lancaster which is about an hour drive.

Fun, spacious home with excellent hosts

This was the perfect place to give kids/young adults their own space to chill downstairs. The large couch and air hockey table were a big hit! I truly appreciated the comfortable beds, thoughtful amenities, open living space and fully-stocked kitchen. My son and his friends had an absolute blast. We loved the dog portraits and cool furniture - a rustic feel with modern style and comfort. 10 out of 10, good

Hilltop Getaway

My family and I loved our stay in this home! What brought us to the area was a sports tournament for our boys. The location was ideal for both travel into Philadelphia to explore the city and for our boys’ sports. This home is nestled on a hilltop with beautiful trees, providing a tranquil feel. The various levels, balconies, and patio area provided many areas for our family to relax. This home provides comfy beds, a well appointed kitchen, two living rooms, and an air hockey table (which our boys loved). Leigh was an amazing host and thought of everything and more we could need. He went above and beyond and made this stay one of our favorite places we have visited, and we travel a lot! Thank you for a wonderful time! We are most grateful! Hope to come back again next year!

Great house and location

We enjoyed our stay. Here is some feedback: 1. The house smelled like smoke. Especially coming out of the AC unit in the kitchen. 2. We couldn’t find the washer dryer as advertised. 3. The grill and smoker in the back were unusable. Needs to be cleaned. No propane for the grill. 4. Sliding glass door frame was dirty. Needs to be power washed. 5. Air hockey handle was broken. Need a new set. Table worked great. 6. The inside floor was dirty. Our kids had black feet after a few minutes of running around.

Hi Ronald, Thanks for your feedback! We would have been glad to address any questions during your stay, but did not hear from you. I assure you the house is throughly cleaned professionally before and after each guest. We will take your advice and have it power washed soon, being in the woods we need to do that quite often! An ionizer and diffusers are available for those who dislike the wood stove smell that can be pronounced on humid days. The laundry is in the basement with the keypad on the door. If you choose to stay with us again in the future, please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!
